I LOVE chipotle. My husband and I moved here from So Cal a couple months ago so we're used to Chipotle and are glad we have it in Buffalo! I always order a vegetarian burrito or bowl. I get double white cilantro rice, black beans, pico de gallo (a small amount) and guac. We wish there chips and guac were cheaper! Well, we wish the guac was cheaper period, as most people do. Every time there is something when I go in. Employees look like they hate their lives working there. Or always running out of something. Online orders you can forget it getting it right. Every online order I had never was always missing something. The traffic on this location is always high and it seems it is overwhelming the business. Maybe open another one 2 miles away. Today I went it to order and the employees standing looking at customer cleaning the food area someone said we have rice left then said never mind and someone else next to the employee cleaning while serving food. Oof this location is struggling post(?) pandemic. We had two groups of two in front of us and a single man and we still waited about 30 mins to get through the line. They even have a separate station for takeout orders so I'm not sure why everything was moving so slow. The employee making our items greeted us with a "sup" head nod instead of a verbal greeting and he was also wearing an air pod in one ear, as was the cashier. He was kind of just throwing things around and the station was a disaster because of it. He stopped to get two sides of queso and spilled cheese all over his gloves. He didn't put the lids on correctly because he only had one clean hand and I hope the customer ahead of me didn't have a spill. It was extremely haphazard. I ordered guac and he gave me maybe two tablespoons so I just paid for an extra side. My partner ordered three hard shell tacos, the employee tried to shove them into a burrito bowl and put the lid on. I'll leave you to your own conclusions. They have an hour and a half left until close and had no rice available limited chicken, gave me an attitude when I asked for extra black beans due to the lack of food provided. This has to be the worst place to go eat. As soon as you go in through the door you're stepping on food. There is food everywhere. Not only on the floors but the tables were sticky, and dirty. It's like they never get washed down. We had to grab a few paper towels to scoot the food off the table before we sat down to eat. As we looked down to sit the chairs had sticky food on it as well. When we got to the front to order there was food all over the floor and on the counters. It was so dirty. They used the same spoon that was used for the guacamole and the green salad. The guacamole had more salad in it than the guacamole. The toilets had paper towels all over the floor. As we walk out to dump the rest of our food in the garbage can it was so full that I literally had to squeeze my trash in the garbage can and needless to say I got someone else's food on my hands. Horrible, just horrible. We spent $42.00 only to end up with heartburn. Never again will I visit this place. read more

My girl LOVES Chipotle. I personally don't seem the hype in it. The food is good, don't get me wrong - it's just the burrito doesn't fill me up. The place does seem chill. It's a hit and miss with customer service. I had employees give me attitude and other employees take their time with me while ordering. I'm the dumb customer, remember? My only complaint is how fast they try to finish your order. For people who are not familiar with the menu and not obsessed with the place like my girl is - I feel foolish. Let me start this review by saying that I travel a lot. I am also on a weird Paleo diet with my wife. So, when I travel for work I'm limited in where I can grab a meal quickly. Long story short - I eat at Chipotle once a week usually I live in Hamburg and this is the closest Chipotle to my house..or really anywhere in the Southtowns. I am maddened regularly by this location. Let me count the ways: Example One: My wife, kids, and I decided to eat lunch here before going grocery shopping. They were out of chips....annoying, but not the worst thing ever. My boys ordered two kids meals, which come with chips, and when I got to the register they still charged full price for the kids meals which amounted to 6 bucks for a tiny kids quesadilla and juice box. I asked for a discount and the hipster behind the register scoffed and said "this isn't a charity." I emailed the manager and never heard anything back. Nada. Example Two: My diet means I can only eat Carnitas because, believe it or not, the rest of their meat is drowning in some type of soy. I went - this time out of Carnitas. I know there has been a shortage but in my travels this has been the only store to apparently have troubles keeping it in stock. If you ask me, someone needs to do a better job of predicting and ordering food for the store if they're always out. Chipotle not bad. This place makes me want to pour tabasco in my eyes with the same unapologetic enthusiasm as their employees. read more

Never again. I will never return to this Chipotle again! They deserve zero stars, but it's not an option to write a review. The line was almost to the door even though they had many people behind the counter "working"; it took about 30+ minutes to get through and cashed out. They were out of peppers and onions AND tortilla chips. The tables and floor were disgusting messes with over flowing garbages. To top it off, if you wanted to pay cash, they had ZERO coin change. They were more than happy to take your bills OVER the amount you owed (for example $18 for a $17.23 order) and NOT give you change, but didn't like the idea of you just paying the $17 with no change. In other words it was ok for them to rip off the customer but not ok for them to take a loss due to their own laziness and/or unpreparedness. The last time I checked, cash is still a valid currency in the U.S. I have not gone to ANY OTHER business that doesn't have change available so don't spew the nonsense of a "coin shortage." It's simply Chipotle not wanting to bother with it and poor customer service. So RIDICULOUS! I'm sure they don't care, but they have definitely lost a customer. read more

There's definitely something to be said for a semi fast food restaurant that maintains product quality, speed of service and taste in a delicate balance rivaled by few if any others. Chipotle is one of these restaurants. Putting the fast back in fast food, making the quality of truly good and sustainable food easily available and affordable. When the owner of this company had a dream to open a five star restaurant, it is my feeling that he has done just that. Great food. Always. But we have been to this location twice recently where they let a huge line grow and just stand there while they fill online/call ahead orders. Ridiculous. No one was behind us when we arrived. By the time we actually ordered the line was to the back wall! Couldn't they have a little separate service station just to fill online orders? Who makes customers that are physically in the restaurant stand there for 4-8 minutes when they also want to get food and get out quickly. This has to be the worst costumer service in the western NY area for at least the last 27 times I've eaten out. I've never seen someone have such difficulty with assembling a food item that consists of less than seven ingredients. Clearly no one is keeping the staff in check. My experience today was far less than sub par. I really understand the difficulty with Covid, but the restrictions they're imposing on customers are OUTRAGEOUS. They are outright screaming at customers to separate even when we explained we live together in the same household. After standing in line for ten minutes I counted 12 to go orders in between each customer waiting in line being served. The audacity of the management to try to belittle grown men and women customers as if we insulted them by supporting the business that pays their bills is BEYOND my thought process. Screaming at us to pull our masks over our noses while all of the workers masks hanged below their nose, the audacity. Then the worker just stared at me as if I'm asking for gold when I asked for a side of guacamole. Decent food but I will never eat or order from there again. I have 2 hours until work so decided to order some food. Everything going well and driver shows up to get the food and it apparently is not ready so they cancel the order (the restaurant cancelled the order) without telling me or even the benefit of a call. We waited in line for 15 minutes, then when we got to the front we waited another 5 while the employee filled out 8 online orders. I realize this is entry level, but anyone who's ever eaten a burrito knows how annoying it is to not topping spread evenly throughout your burrito. I had a different taste with every bite. I've visited this location a number of times when I was working in OP. The food was always delicious and they really moved people through the line during the busy lunch hour. If you think they're skimping out on portions, just ask them to put a little more on (politely) they always do. Their guacamole is delicious, just like everything else they serve. We have visited this location quite a few time and disappoints me every single time! On our last visit the chicken was cold, the rice was hard. There was half a scoop of chicken in my bowl. Our visit was on December 23 in the evening. The staff on the line were not the Chipotle personalities I have experienced in other locations across the country. If you actually like chipotle, do not come to this location. The rice is 9 times out of 10 completely undercooked to the point where you can't even eat it. It's super crunchy!
