This is probably NOT my favorite Chipotle in town. If you're going to splurge, I would NOT suggest this as the place to do so. I came in the other day with my 15 year old daughter Becky and my 13 year old son Josh and we ordered just a chicken quesadilla, a bag of chips, a side of quac and a burrito bowl. The grease of the chicken quesadilla made my Becky break out, and she cannot afford to lose this beauty pageant. Not only was the quesadilla poor quality, but the burrito bowl had too much corn salsa when specifically asked for them to go light on the corn because my poor Joshy is mildly allergic to corn, he just enjoys the texture so we allow him little increments at a time. Unfortunately the excessive amount of corn consumed by my son caused his throat and entire body to swell. We had to rush to the hospital. Now onto the chips. My husband Doug asked me to bring home a bag of chips for us to share. Doug and I have been having some issues for a while now. As soon as he ate the first chip, he accused ME of finding them in the street to make him sick. My marriage is over because of you guys and I signed the divorce papers today. So I am suing to get the money for my divorce and trust me, I will win. Thanks to you guys, my children are now afraid to come with me into the vicinity, and I can no longer do my shopping for fresh organics and Trader Joe's. This Chipotle located in Danville is a disgrace to all Chipotle's. Im going to compare this one to the San Ramon Chipotle. - The service is always incredibly slow at Danville. (it would be faster to wait in line at the San Ramon Chipotle with the line out the door, than to wait in line at the Danville one with only a few people in line.) no joke. - The food just simply does not taste as good as the San Ramon one. - Beans are never cooked right. -Guac here has a horrible texture, usually containing chunks of hard UN-ripe avocados. - The food is luke-warm compared to San Ramon Chipotle. - Most of the time the Carnitas have many chunks of fat. - chunks of un-mleted cheese in my burrito, due to the lack of heat in the food. - The rice is dry, and hard. Honestly this place has really gone down hill the last few times that we have been here. After picking up our food we got home to find that the burrito bowls were not even filled a third of the amount that they used to be and they were cold. I am a native of Danville and have been going here since the location first opened. Staff used to be friendly and efficient. Since as of a year and a half ago it has been nothing but disappointment, slow service, and incomplete orders. When going in person, they will have nearly two employees working during the lunch rush, pushing the line out the door. As for online orders, I've waited up to a 2hrs with others for dinner orders. I don't doubt the workers are hard working but something needs to be done to resolve this. Given the abundance of negative reviews, this is not a one time occurrence but rather a issue with the leadership at this location. Hope this can be fixed. read more

This chipotle has time and time again been disappointing... the first time I went here they somehow managed to switch my food with someone, which I don't understand how that's possible at Chipotle, but they managed. Then again I went and the rice was hard (undercooked) and there was hair in my food. And I went a final time HOPING for the best, but once again it was not good. The 2 staff members serving the food and at the cash register did not have their masks on properly (one woman did). They had it covering their mouths but not their noses which means they contaminated all the food if they are sick. I will not be back. read more

The worst thing about this place is that it's incredibly small. I teach the high school scross the street and when i first saw the "coming soon" banner I thought 'no way in hell that place is big enough for this student body during a 35 minute lunch period". Guess what? I was right (probably like a lot of other people) The food is just like any other chipotle. I went in the other day and it was great. It was also around 2pm on a weekday. If you go during the school year around lunchtime, you're in for a long line. And if they've got new people working, it's a REALLY long line. I love chipotle. This one, however, is really small, very busy, and really small. Avoid this place after the local high school disperses, or be prepared for a rush of teenage chaos. The food was on par for chipotle. The people were friendly enough; albeit, a tad slow. I'd personally recommend that the owner/manager take a few of his peak-hours employees to the chipotle on 126 New Montgomery Street in San Francisco during the lunch time rush to see how they crank out the burrito production line. I waited 2 hours for my order today and still no food. I left. I was told during this 2 hours that the food would be ready in 30min, again 20 min, again ... I am very upset. When I spoke with the associate after waiting 2 hours, she told me I can either call customer service to ask for a refund or re-order in store. Excuse me? she told me they had a fundraising event and everything is backed up. I understand but i could have cancelled when I first got there. why letting me wait 2 hours? this is extremely rude! if you don't have the ability to run a business and having an event at the same time, pick one of the the two. I ordered a cheese quesadilla and it took about 7 or 8 min. 5 people ordered after me and got there food before I did. I saw my food just sitting on the press for about 5 min and asked about it and they said it would be ready shortly. It sat for another 2 min and then the guy saw me and was like oh yea it's almost done he grabs it off the press and just gives it to me and one side was over cooked and the other side wasnt cooked. Easy to say this was one of the most unpleasant visits I have ever had at a Chipotle location. I began by ordering a bowl from a boy who seemed courteous at first. I asked for chicken as my protein side, and he gives me a meager portion of chicken. As a frequent patron of Chipotle, I am accustomed to receiving a standard portion of chicken. I asked him politely if he could "please add a little bit more chicken." He looks at me in annoyance and asks in a mocking voice, "Oh! So DOUBLE CHICKEN THEN?!" As someone who has spent years working in the food service industry, I was utterly appalled, let alone shocked, at his rudeness. I responded politely, "No, I would just like a little bit more chicken because you gave me a small portion." He then continues, in a condescending manner, "Ok! So no more chicken for you!" After receiving this rude treatment, I paid and left the store. Annoyed and hungry, I began eating my chicken bowl and within the first bite, I began choking on a large piece of cartilage! The employees here are exceptional and the food is tasty. I also like the fact that Chipotle uses high quality (some organic) ingredients in their food. The staff at this particular location is always extremely patient and accommodating when we order, even when we make special requests. I have ordered ahead multiple times and they are 20-30 minutes late but have many employees on duty. Manager is not doing a good job at managing employees to need and volume of orders. Second time in 10 days I have visited this location and placed a large order (6 meals, a couple of sides and drinks). Process is clunky and disorganized with orders being handed off to different servers. Not surprising that both times items missing from the bag once I got home. First time I just chalked it up to one of those things. This most recent time (this evening) I asked them to check and double check everything was there, but nope got home and kids drinks missing. My kids were really disappointed this happened again. Take out is supposed to be enjoyable and stress free, not in this instance! Called the store 4-5 times this evening and no answer, no voicemail, nothing. Don't think this can be explained away by Covid, just sloppy procedures and service. It's as if they're delivering food for the first time. They delivered less than half my order, then made no attempt to correct their mistake. The manager tells me that my only option is to drive to the store to pick up the rest of it. Even Chipotle corporate customer service just washed their hands off, saying there is nothing they can do. They blame DoorDash, which must be quite convenient for them. DoorDash says nothing else was provided for delivery. I spend over an hour just dealing with these clueless underachievers. Seems like a backyard operation. Disputing the charge with my credit card. Won't be ordering any Chipotle anytime soon. read more

The worst service ever. I gave them many chances but this Chipotle location must be the worst in whole Bay Area, especially their online order service. Before COVID I always thought they didn't have enough people to serve the high demand of this location due to his proximity to SRVHS, and being the only one to serve 2 city's, Alamo, Danville and part of SR. However, when shelter in place started, this store is completely incapable of offer a decent service. Their clearly overwhelm with the amount of traffic they get. The last two times I have order online thru the mobile app, I ended up waiting 20-30 minutes after my "pick up time" at the store . The "Pick up time" they tell you on the app is literally a joke. Bit the worst is that while you waiting there they don't even offer to help, they just see you there waiting. The waiting line keeps growing and the employees are just tuning back and forward clearly overwhelmed. Ordering food from here is so frustrating. read more

Came here for a quick dinner after visiting my grandparents for their anniversary although my grandfather was in the hospital. There was about 6 of us taking a to go order and Jose, who I believe was the manager, took awesome care of us! He took the time to label everything we ordered by our names so we didn't get confused about our burritos and bowls, and was super friendly from walk in to walk out. My dad and uncle were arguing about who should pay and as they were, Jose offered us a couple free sodas so he could get in on who pays! If that isn't good customer service I don't know what is! read more

I've had a ton of chipotle in my day and this location was bar none the absolute WORST chipotle I've ever been to. RUDE staff, MICROSCOPIC proportions, UNCOMFORTABLE location. Go to the San Ramon location!!! I went late in the afternoon and was the only person in the store. I went to get a regular barbacoa burrito bowl. As i was waiting for my food I noticed they put a very, very small portion of meat. Since I was the only person in line and i saw the portion was so little, I asked if this is the right amount of meat. The employee responded that the bowl is already "10 ounces and I can't give you more". I asked if they could please weigh it since the portion was so small. They went aside to weigh it and I stepped to the side to take a look. As I was watching, an extremely rude and aggressive woman employee started ordering me to get out of the way and that I can't go beyond the line. I was shocked and offended to be treated this way for wanting a little extra meat. I quickly hurried out of the store and drove home. One of the worst customer experiences I've had in a restaurant in my life. I will never return to this location. read more

I AM FED UP WITH THIS LOCATION!! I finally had to refuse a delivery because two meals were missing! Manager said he would rectify the situation . That did not happen. We waited an hour ( on top of the last hour) and nothing.The people that make the food RARELY pay attention to online orders at all. I have spent more money on food that I have not gotten than I can count, with little help when I have called to voice my incomplete order. I Can actually say that people have been argumentative. My first experience with this location was a less than favorable one. I chose it because it was slightly closer to me than the one in Walnut Creek. I did an iphone order which I usually do with most locations around dinner time because of the extreme wait sometimes. When I walked in...there was no one there. My burritos which were to be hot and ready at 8pm (not a huge task with no customers in line) were so cold it was as if they had been sitting there for an hour. Then after the initial shock that they were so cold, there were no distinguishing marks on the wrapper to let me know what they were. So, for each burrito, I had to tear them apart to look at what each one was. Plus the ingredients I had requested on the order weren't all there. NOT a fun experience! I called the manager and he offered me free burritos next time I came in. Nice enough of an offer. Fast forward to that next time. This time, I didn't pre-order because I wanted them to be hot - as a consequence I stood in a 30 minute line. As I'm ordering my 3 burritos all with barbacoa..the server began to skimpily portion out the bottom of the bin barbacoa slimy scraps into the burritos. I spoke up and asked if I could have more meat as the meat he served me was barely anything. He acted like I was crazy and told me that this was the regularized portion every Chipotle gives out for meat. I told him that I had been going to Chipotles for years and every time I had gotten a healthy portion of CHUNKS of meat and not scrapy shavings. The manager came out with a new bin of barbacoa and preceded to give me a tiny bit more. I got through checkout with my free burritos....but after the skimpy shaving scraps of meat and the mess up on my previous burritos - this location is a NO GO for me in the future!
