I got to the restaurant and after reading the amazing reviews, I had high expectations. I ordered the food from the front and created my bowl. I had asked them to add corn to the bowl and it seemed to trigger something in them. Maybe they have something against corn, but let's just say I have to see therapy now. They stood up on the table and jumped at me, force feeding me the corn. I tried to run away, but they were too fast. Then one day I went myself to pick it up. The place was filthy. The tables were dirty,floor was sticky and disgusting. This location is always busy. I've had several instances where I have ordered ahead on the app and I've gone to pick it up and they said my order was already picked up. Placed an order again to pick up with a half hour notice of when I would be in the area. The app never updated the order to say in progress. I arrived at the store, and I noticed there was no food bags on the shelves where you would normally pick up your food. So I'm just standing there for a good 10-15 minutes, still my app doesn't update or say my order was started. Finally someone asks me what the name is and they grabbed the food from behind the register and handed it to me. I used the app and ordered ahead. I really like how the app shows the progress of the order. My order wasn't ready at the time it was supposed to be but I did need in about 5 minutes later and got a message it was ready. However, once I went to the shelf it wasn't there so I did end up having to wait even longer to ask the staff where it was and they got it from the back. The burritos are never filled with what you asked you'll barely taste it the chips are never even a quarter of the way filled they don't even give you a full cup of cheese or guacamole. I sadly order from here a lot because it's the closest one to me, and every time I order I think to myself, "this is going to be the time that they don't mess up my order". Ordered vegan chorizo bowls for delivery my brother and I on the Chipotle App. In case you didn't know, they do upcharge $2 on menu items on the app if you are ordering delivery, but there is no transparency on what these fees are used toward. The delivery itself was quick and on time. The chorizo had a good texture and taste, but was quite salty. The food itself was good, but this location was out of white rice and lettuce, and I found a piece of plastic in my food which was unfortunate. If their corporate ever reads this, they should be aware that this location has to be the absolute worst Chipotle in probably a 30-mile radius, and I've happily been to quite a bit. First and foremost, you need more Chipotle restaurants in our area. There's only this one Freehold, NJ location, so basically many nearby towns are a captive audience to this atrocity. While the place can get mediocre at best, every visit seems like they have an ongoing contest to see if they could do worse than yesterday. In previous visits, they have served undercooked rice, their fryer was broken, so no tortilla chips, they are regularly out of fajita vegetables before 6PM, and the register/point-of-sale machine kept crashing. So, they manage to run out of ingredients way before dinner time, but there is no way in hell it's because the staff is so generous with the portions. It's just that they don't prepare for what should be expected for any given day. In fact, this location staffs the stingiest people that barely add enough, or remove when they think they've put too much, then have the nerve to say that would charge for 'double meat.' Talk about insult to injury. Corporate, please discreetly (or not) visit this place at your own risk to see how bad they can muck up a decent brand like yours. read more

Used to be a solid location, however had nothing but negative experiences lately. -runs out of ingredients way too often and way too early in the night. Twice they've ran out of fajita veggies and this was hours before closing time. One time even ran out of lettuce, which is one of the most common add on.
