This spot is so cute - it's giving nostalgia, simplicity, and value in a time where many things in Miami are overly curated, expensive, and unoriginal. Another addition to the Ariete hospitality group- this spot hit the inner child in me. Growing up, I was never allowed to eat fast food - which is part of the reason I think as an adult I absolutely love it. Each week though, in secret, my Tia would take me to get Mcdonalds after school. It was a delight, and something about a visit or order at Chuggie's gives me that same joy as elementary school Di picking up her happy meal. My happy meal twenty years later now looks like a dirty cold af martini from Mae's next door, and a double OG with fries. PRO TIP you can order from the bar at Mae's and eat Chuggie's there. You can also eat on fuller street. DO NOT skip the honey mustard. It's made in house and I do believe has surpassed my beloved honey mustard from LoKal. I've tried most things on the menu - the nuggets are made with real chicken and you can tell. I've also had the mimi's sandwich and chicken chuggie. This menu's appreciation for duke's mayo speaks to my soul. I need to try the cookies which are giving OG Fall's Mrs field's vibes (IYKYK) and the shakes. Doing simple, afforable fast food is something I appreciate, but what I love most about Chuggie's is that it's a spot the Grove needed. It's a spot to hang that is no frills, no stress, and always a vibe. Fuller street is really shaping up to be a reflection of all the true Miami Millennials born and raised on late nights at Moe's, Cudas, Tavern etc but all grown up. It's nice to see this street filled with places that speak to us locals and preserve the culture that is so uniquely ours. Chuggie's, you are a real one.

I ordered on DoorDash hoping for "good enough." What I got was unreal. The burger was absolute perfection. Juicy, bold, perfectly balanced blue cheese. I was not prepared for that level of thoughtfulness. It completely changed my night. I called to thank them personally and Umberto, the manager, was incredibly kind and genuinely appreciative. Never have I ever felt so seen by a burger place. Five stars isn't enough. They didn't just deliver food. They delivered comfort.

OMG I tried a piece of this big slice and died and went to heaven. Utter addictiveness in flavor and texture including their homemade crust. Not too often Im impressed with how Key lime pie is made and this ranks 2nd on my list of places to go for key lime pie. The indoor ambience was cool with memorabilia all over the wall like a small TV playing star wars movie, a retro TV in the bathroom painted the words on it "Legalize Kush". Also graffiti art on the walls. Very cool spot in the grove. Since it was a nice cool evening, we opted to sit outdoors. Nice. Eventually the bill came in a CD case! Haha.

Today, while waiting for something to print at Office Depot, I was searching for a nearby brunch spot when it popped up in my search & I'm so glad I did! First of all, the place is absolutely adorable. It was a packed Sunday morning around 11 a.m. Only one tiny table was left inside, though there were a couple outside too. Honestly, on a beautiful Miami morning, I wouldn't have minded sitting outdoors at all. What really stood out, though, was the service. Gabriela, our hostess and waitress, was wonderful. Warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind with a huge smile. She walked us through the menu, answered questions about dishes I didn't recognize (it's a Venezuelan spot, after all), and made us feel completely taken care of. Even more impressive was that she seemed to be the only waitress on duty yet never came across as flustered or hurried or anything other than pure sunshine! I ordered my longtime favorite, the arepa perica, just like I used to when I worked nearby, along with a fresh-squeezed orange juice and a chicken empanada to try. My father ordered the desayuno criollo. Everything was absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful, the plating thoughtful, and the flavors delivered across the board. The space was lively and full of families, making it a great Sunday brunch spot. Everything was spotless, and I don't usually call that out because it should be a given, but the restroom was impressively clean. Like extra clean. I also just learned they have multiple locations now, which is amazing. Well deserved. I can't wait to go back, and I wish them continued success.

I placed an order online through their website and drove to pick it up only to find out that their own website listed the wrong address for this location that Apple Maps has the wrong hours for. What a mess! By the time I got to the wrong address and called to figure out what was going on, my food had been sitting for 30 min and I was still 15 min away from the right address + 25 min to where I was staying. I had ordered arepas, empanadas and ceviche. When I finally arrived to pick up I asked for the food to be remade specially the ceviche since I didn't feel comfortable eating something raw after it seating on the counter for over an hour due to their mistake. There was push back but they finally agree to re make the ceviche only. However the rest of the food was cold by the time we ate it. Very disappointing. Food was ok, not amazing or memorable

Our server was great and went the extra mile to take care of us. It really just says more about the flavors. One of those situations where it tastes so good you could just eat yourself into oblivion. The kids loved it and we were very pleased. My wife and I recommend the Truffle Goddess burger which was destroyed before a photo was taken. We loved the variety of sauces. Ambience was a nice family atmosphere but would also be good with adult friends for a night of fun.

Very fun and creative menu with lots of interesting options. Found our burger a bit disappointing though as we ordered it for the truffle and they went very light on this. Upcharge for a black bean veggie patty (aren't these literally cheaper than beef?!). Fries are more shoestring style. Nice collection of fun sauces on the table. Aesthetic is very millennial burger joint (metal chairs, wooden details, etc.). Service was good. Would perhaps come back if portion size increased or prices reduced. For now, will hold off on small $20 burger with no fries.

Through the years I've stopped by on and off if I was hungry and in the area, such as last night after a work meeting in the area. The decor looks slightly different from back in the 90s and my cashier was actually pretty friendly and helpful. I ordered the half grill chicken with black beans and rice as well as the roll. Plus I paid extra for the sweet fried plantains since apparently this is a premium side. I'm old enough to remember when it was a regular side and didn't have an upcharge. For my sauce, I got the guava bbq one. All in all it was pretty tasty and hit the spot. However, there are a couple of things that could be better. In my case, I brought it up at the store and they resolved it, but I shouldn't have to be QCing my dinner. For example, the black beans that were included in the combo the little pot was not completely full. It was actually closer to halfway. I had to raise this to the server and it was resolved. Then I sit down to enjoy my guava sauce and one of the packets was with barely any sauce. Again, I got up , mention it, and it was resolved, but again those are a little annoyances. Also going to the bathroom, I felt like the president. Not because the toilet is gold plated , but because of the digital lock. It felt like going into the situation room during DEFCON one. One employee gave me apparently the wrong code then by the time the cashier rectified it the electronic lock had timed out and had to reset it.
