Ok so I have been going to chipotle for a long time now and I love them. The freshness the atmosphere the friendly staff is awesome! I'm so happy that we have one in Silverdale now!! But the one thing I can't get over is the portion sizes! They use to give you a good helping of rice and the meat of your choice and I would be so full by the end of my meal. Now, when we went yesterday, they give me a handful of rice and if I'm lucky a handful of chicken. Chipotle is not cheap and if I'm going to pay a good amount I would like to receive a good amount as well. My spouse usually gets a burrito and can finish it and feel satisfied but he told me as he left that he was still hungry and when we got home he had to have a hot pocket. We have been to many Chipotles in different cities & states & this one has been the worst by far. In 3 visits we have had burnt chicken & burnt veggies that made the ENTIRE burrito bitter & cringeworthy to try and eat. The other visit they RAN OUT of guacamole!! This was on a Friday at about 6:30. Their fresh guac is our favorite thing they offer. We stood in line for 15 minutes before making it up to the counter to be told they were out. Unsat! On our last & probably final visit, the chicken was burnt & the avocado was not ripe resulting in guac with hard chunks that were inedible. Went to the new chipoltle in silverdale and it is unimpressive to sum up the visit. Walked in expecting the normal amazing chipoltle experience and got everything but it at this new store. The steak was extremely overcooked. The outside of the steak was burn black and the inside was well done. Also they gave a much smaller portion that I remember, usually they cant hardly close the burrito but at this location they seemed below average size. Also there was no sour cream at all even at specific request they stated they had none. Then the fountain soda machine did not work, nor did they have any bottled drinks other than apple and orange juice, no beer either. Plus the majority of music wasn't impressive. This all took place at 9 pm on Monday 21 March. Probably will give it one more try but if it fails to impress I would say that I'm finished with this store. read more

This was my first order of Chipotle and I used my phone app and it was super easy. I knew the food would be edible, but I had no idea it would be so freakin DELICIOUS!!! Seriously, the ingredients dont sound like anything fancy, but they are top notch (tons of flavor) and all mixed together it was soooooooooooooo yummy and healthy!!! They put the food I have been getting at Taco Bell and Denny's to shame.....and their food is cheaper!!! Oh and the portions were very BIG and filling! The staff didn't really care about the food presentation, and I don't mean that as if I was expecting gourmet but I also wasn't expecting my food to be placed on its bed as if i was being served in a prison facility. I doubt the food is pre-prepped as far as seasoning goes because it had to be the most blan-tasting chicken I've ever had at chipotle. This has to be the absolute worst Chipotle location I have ever been to. If they would hire people that actual cared about what they were doing besides a bunch of kids that don't listen to customers it might actually be decent. Like other have said the portions are VERY inconsistent. I just got home from getting a chicken burrito bowl. This is the worst meal I've ever had from there, I actually stopped eating it. Don't look away when they are making your food. I asked for small amounts of salsa, my bowl is a moat of a tux mixture with a ton of salsa and a few pieces of chicken. My fiancée ordered the same and hers is great. Just depends on which kid back there cares about what they are sending out. I'm completely done with this terrible location. I usually really enjoy chipotle, but this location in particular seems to be very inconsistent with the quality of food. After coming here a few times now, I noticed they always skimp on the guacamole and the lunch food seems to taste better than dinner. I have been there a number of times and the staff has never been rude. Again, it isn't fine dining, you walk up, place your order and eat. The food always seems fresh and tasty. I have eaten here quite a few times since they opened and I have to say the food is fantastic every single time! The guacamole is very good and they don't put additives in their food so I don't have to worry about my food allergy flaring up. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because we had a bad experience with one employee who walked away in the middle of our food order and started cleaning a countertop and ignoring us. I couldn't understand what was going on but someone else stepped in and filled our order and they gave us the entire meal for free because of the ordeal. I will continue to go back! read more

I've been to this location about ten times. I haven't had a bad experience like some others have. I'm pretty consistent in that I get carnitas almost every time, could be a burrito, bowl or salad. Quality, quantity and customer service has been consistent between visits and with other locations. Until yesterday, anyway, all was normal through ordering, processing through the line and payment. It was early afternoon probably around 1:30. I took a seat facing the door and was enjoying my carnitas bowl when two young gentlemen walked in didn't go to the counter but instead headed through the dining area headed towards the kitchen. I looked up and both greeted me with smiles and 'how's it going/how are you doing?' and the second one says 'have a great rest of your day, sir'. Seems these two must have been arriving for their shifts. They didn't have to say anything to me but made a point to do so. We own a cafe so I know how rare it is to find help like this. read more

This restaurant has took a nose dive over the last few months. Customer service is terrible and intimidating. It doesn't even look finished inside and they are almost always out of food and the men's bathroom has been out of service for atleast a week now. There is really nothing special about this place. The shopping center it's located in will bring this place business. The burrito is boring. I had a chicken burrito, it was delicious and filling. The guac and chips are SO good. Only complaint about this location is the lackluster décor. It looked almost unfinished inside to me. I've ordered food several times within the past couple months and have really wanted to love the food but it just falls short. The food is always cold just after ordering and when the food is cold the cheese gets clumpy and the fat and grease coagulates on the meat and veggies. Also, The portion is always different every time I order the same EXACT order. I always order the chips and cheese and the chips are always so salty that they can't be eaten. Food tastes good if they have it in stock, every time we have gone something is posted on the door that they ran out of. Today it was Bell Peppers. They forgot to post that they were also out of Coca Cola...when does that happen? Poor management, the worse thing about this location is every table is always dirty every time we go. It's making me question how clean the kitchen is. There were 6 young employees working tonight. They weren't real busy. You think they could wipe down a table and sweep the floors. Pretty poor customer service today, and I'm not one to complain normally. They gave me about a third the amount of beans, rice, and meat as I normally get in my burrito bowls. When I said something, the lady serving me got super sassy and refused to give me any more. She then packaged my bowl and walked away before finishing my order, didn't ask if I wanted guac or sour cream. I left unhappy and hungry. Normally I expect a full bowl! Not this time. Honestly I don't know how this location is even still running, whenever I go there is a line to the door and only 1 person working the line by themselves. Recently when I went they were out of rice, which I get happens, but it was white AND brown rice. The whole line waited around 10 minutes to get back in line. While waiting I went to their only bathroom stall (the women's said it was down?) and there was 0 toilet paper and it smelled strongly or urine. The dining room was also trashed to shreds and the trashes overflowing. It didn't look like they had a big rush recently because there was 0 people in the dining room just dirty tables, but I get that store can be busy but I'd just figure out of all the employees in the back someone would fix it. I also stood at the cash register for around another 10 minutes because the cashier was no where to be found, the burritos behind me start backing up and the employees are panicking scrambling to find someone to check us out while some employees just stood there. Seems like a lot of young kids working here so I do have sympathy, but also they NEED leadership, desperately. The store is a DISASTER. read more

This chipotle is FANTASTIC. We got married in Port Orchard and chose to have chipotle as our dinner. From the very beginning, the managers here were so wonderful and really knew their stuff. Any questions I had about catering were answered quickly, and they really put my mind at ease. Even when I called 2 days before the wedding asking to change our pickup time, they were so wonderful and did it with no problems. We were a little nervous since we were serving 175 people, but everything was absolutely perfect. I cannot recommend this location for catering enough! Thank you so much! read more

I absolutely love Chipotle. I'm from CA, so I've been eating Chipotle for over 15 years. I was so excited for this location to open, as my husband and I used to have to drive to Tacoma to get our Chipotle fix. However, this location just really isn't up to par. There have been a couple nights that we have gone in and had good service, however most of the time, it's baaad. They are stingy on everything, every single time we go they are almost out of multiple things (scraping the bottom of the rice, liquid left for beans, no chicken or wait 15 minutes for it, bottom of the mild salsa....). They give you a tiny sprinkle of rice and when you ask for a little more they glare at you like you are stealing off of their own dinner plate. It's the strangest thing! I have never seen this kind of attitude at a Chipotle before. Whether it's asking for a bit more rice or salsa, they will literally get a pissed off attitude and put a pinch more on. It's literally 2 girls that work here that are rude and do this, the rest seem very nice. We also ask for a side of corn tortillas when we come in and if it's one of these 2 girls working, they start them, forget them, throw them away, get irritated at themselves and start over again. Almost every time without fail. One of these girls will also fill a container of guacamole with a giant hole in the bottom and if you ask for the container to actually be filled all the way (the little cup is $2, come on, I should get a full container here) the girl gets SUPER pissed. Like filled the container, sighed in irritation at least 5 times, and thew it down the line to the register on its side. Eeeekk. Same 2 girls that always have the attitude were working one day when one was in the middle of making my bowls and says, "Omg I forgot my meds! Omg I forgot to take my meds!" She literally ran away, and the other girl just stood there and says, "Sorry, she like never forgets!" Uhhhh ok? So I wait... Finally another guy comes in to finish my bowls... The guy was very nice and seemed to be like what the heck was going on here... Honestly I have been to well over 15 different Chipotle locations and I've never seen the type of rude customer service they provide here. I give this location 2 stars because I still love Chipotle and the food is still good here, also because we haven't had bad customer service every single time we have been in, it's just a couple of bad eggs... read more

I'm with the other reviewers...we were very disappointed in this chipotle. I get that they are new but shouldn't this be a time to impress? We totally got skimped on our burrito bowls, they were barely half full and when I asked for more stuff she barely gave anything! They were out of tortillas too which is why we both had to get bowls. The soda machine was down as well. I thought the guy working at the register needed to be trained better because he seemed to have no idea what he was doing. This was my first experience at any chipotle and I dont think I will return. First off it is just like Qudoba but less quality. They put probably 2cups of rice in my bowl and because of that there was barely enough room for anything else. But did that stop them from filling it over the top? Nope. I asked for a small amount of guacamole and they put at least a cup, same with sour cream and salsa. Then i asked for lettuce and they just sprinkled it on top. My bowl was mostly rice and sauce. Then about a half hour after eating (couldnt even eat the whole bowl because i didnt feel like eating rice guac and sour cream) I felt like I was going to explode! This location needs help. Overall it was disappointing in every fashion. The steak was poor, very chewy, the tortilla was very chewy and could be described as tough, the beans were not hot, the brown rice was slightly hard and had no flavor at all, the guac did not have salt in it, and I noticed that even the onions in the salsa were poorly chopped. I hope that this location gets the training it needs and turns things around. read more
