It was literally in our hotel parking lot so I walked over! $40 & 30 minutes later, I walked out to take food back to our room. First time to eat at Chipotle - and the very last time as well! The place was FILTHY! The workers were slow and just threw items in the bowl I had ordered. I have no idea what she put in this bowl - but it was spicy as heck! Wish I had seen a menu or the tubs that the ingredients came in where labeled. Yet there was a line of people. Sitting down to eat was next to impossible as every surface in the restaurant was dirty and the floor was littered. I tried to clean up one of only two tables - but the mess was too much. I came here with a friend after a long day of work and when we arrived there was only three people in front of us. However we had to wait for a longer for the staff to replace the container where they put the cheese and sour cream. She used the spoon used for the corn to get it out and couldn't, so she put the new cheese in with the old container, then proceed to dump the new sour cream into the old container. I was baffled. It took us awhile to order our food and we question the hygiene here. White rice had no cilantro and tomato salsa just had tomato with nothing else. I never review, but this place is bad. The only reason I even gave Saco 1star is because I didn't have to cook And hoping management sees this. Have LOVED Chipotle in SPortland. But Saco is in another universe. Always filthy with trash on the floor and in doorway, utensils aren't stocked and the staff does not care. Most of them completely ignore you or look at you like you're a serious bother! no greeting and just slops the food on like it's jail. I hate leaving bad reviews but this has to happen. I arrived at 7pm which isn't that late. They were out of white rice, no veggies, no beans at all, and no guacamole. How can you even open without that many things? Then don't get me started on the cleanliness of the place, I almost left and didn't order anything because of how dirty it was. All the tables had stuff crusted on them. Behind the counter right where they were doing the food was disgusting, then I headed over to wear you get drinks and that was even grosser. You walk in and the place is a mess, looks like they were working on restocking and just left it there. Lady helped me and I asked for a salad bowl, they didn't have salad so they gave me the lettuce they give on top. I asked for brown rice and I guess they ran out mid scoop and just decided to scoop in the white rice without even asking me. I didn't say anything bc it wasn't that big of a deal for me. They were out of fajitas, forks and ice. One of the workers looked high lol don't blame him consider how much of a mess it all was. They ran out of steak and they didn't seem to care. Went in an 1 1/2 before closing and was told they were out of cheese, sour cream, steak, tomatoes, guacamole , and veggies. Turned away about 50 customers. Still an upcharge for queso though in case you wanted something on your rice and chicken. Check the reviews. This isn't a "one off" and I'm sorry I didn't read before showing up. I came here for lunch one day while I was staying at a nearby hotel. They had evidently just converted to an all-online/contact-free ordering process, and the experience was horrible. Just 3 days earlier, someone else staying at the hotel with me had gone in, given a lunch order directly to a person at the counter, and had gotten his lunch in a few minutes, so the conversion has made things much worse. The ordering process, using either the Chipotle website or app, is cumbersome. In the process of setting up my order, I was given a pickup time of 12:10, and by the time I was ready to submit the order, it informed me that 12:10 was no longer available, and the earliest new time I could pick was 12:20. I submitted my order at 12:07, and I did not even receive an email confirmation of my order for 8 minutes. Picking up your order is pure chaos. They have a shelf onto which your orders are placed. The shelves contain letters which are supposed to help you find your order. Are the employees using that when placing the bags on the shelves? OF COURSE NOT. The woman placing the orders simply looked for the first free spot on any shelf. Customers were evidently not receiving word that their order was ready either, so everyone came to the shelves after every order was placed there to see if it was theirs. One of my friends an image of a message delivered to his phone which simply said: "The order you are looking for isn't active anymore." Well, what the heck is was he supposed to do, and was he charged for the order? The kitchen area was a morgue. No one was talking to anyone, they were simply doing their assigned task like robots. The only actual conversation I heard was the person I believe was the shift manager, who actually came to the counter to tell a customer he was unable to satisfy her request. Then he went back to his task of peeling red onions. By the way, my "ready at 12:20" order came out at 12:33. Other people in my group who ordered later had an even longer wait. If this continues, I cannot see this Chipotle getting a lot of repeat customers. read more

As someone who use to work in Chipotle, yes it was a little rough when people came in late, OH MY GOD. This was by and far the most grossest restaurant I've been in that wasn't a "dive bar". First you walk in to the trash overflowing. Cups and debris all over multiple tables. The cup and drinks station looked like a tornado hit it. And the line.....just a disaster......at both the meat/rice/salsa stations food was splattered everywhere. Cups of sale just left half filled on the line. Just wow. The icing on the cake was, we were not acknowledged or greeted when we walked in, which alone wouldn't be a big deal, but the woman handling the grill was gloved, talking on her cell - not work phone - on speaker with someone CLEANING AND HANDLING THE LINE.....with sanitation gloves on......come on. That's just unsanitary and disgusting. I've not once walked out a Chipotle, one of my favorite fast food places, until tonight. read more

What a horrible place. Tried to get a gift card. Only after I paid did he tell me he couldn't provide a receipt. At that point I asked for a refund. He went to the back to call his GM (Cameron Hough) what to do. He couldn't reach him. So I told the kid I'd go to my car and use the number to check the balance. Once I did and found out it was $0.00, I went back in and told the same kid. He then checked my card to confirm it was a zero balance (I didn't get the card back). He offered to give me a refund - but again, no receipt. I had to take a cell pic of the screen. But that still doesn't help me if it didn't work. Plus, he said he couldn't refund the exact amount. What?! Why?! I took the GMs card that was sitting in front of the register. I called the number. Guess what....it's just the number to that location. When I asked for Cameron's email, they refused, citing directions from Cameron to NEVER give out his email. Since then, I've called the location 8 times - now the calls only go to an automated system - no human being. When I asked when he'd be in, they of course said, I don't know. Sure does sound like a scam, right? So I left with no gift card; and a "promise" that most of my money was refunded. How is any of this possible. read more

This chipotle has seriously spiraled. Either the CEO doesn't care, as long as the numbers look ok, or the restauranteur is a crackhead. Either way, someone needs to be fired. The store is barely cleaned up, service isn't friendly, food has been sloppy and always tastes a little different, meaning whoever is making it isn't following the "recipe". Customer service was absolutely horrendous today. Staff were unpleasant and rude. We were told that they did not have chips, however, I mentioned that there were several bags on the shelf. I was told that they were only for customers who ordered food online. They did not belong to anyone at the time, but we could not purchase them as customers dining in. To me that seemed senseless. We also watched as the cashier grabbed a bag of chips off the shelf and ate from it. We placed an order for chips online and got two bags. So I came in to grab lunch. Of all the chipotles I've been to: most unfriendly and least communicative work group I've ever seen. Also poor portion sizes. I tried to be nice and crack a smile (and I get it- it's fast food you get what you pay for), but not a single person even showed a tinge of a smile. I got to the checkout and used Apple Pay to run my card. The person at the register asked me to hold on (after the charge was approved and it went through), to which then her and the shift manager started taking. I had no idea what was happening and then I was asked to run the card again. So I did, after I questioned it. I came here only on my past history with Chipotle. I was first in line. My first instinct was to leave. The food prep area was a mess. I stayed. The barbacoa bin was scraps and I changed to carnitas. I had the burrito. Half my meat was ice cold. So , that was half of what I ate. I still ate it, I just like it hot. The soda areas were worse with napkins , lids and straws on the counter And floor.
