I've been to a lot of Chipotles and this one has been my least favorite experience. The first person who works the rice/beans/meat station is not very pleasant. On top of that he was really skimping out on the portions. He barely gave me one full scoop of the chicken. I even asked him "is that All you yet?" I mean I could count the number of pieces on my bowl on the small scoop of rice. Dang I've also always had the onions and peppers sautéed. These onions are completely raw? I could just tell it was all the bottom of the pan and the guy did not care or want to be there. $23 for some very below average food when I've had better customer service and food at other locations. Well, I'll give them credit. They did get my order right the lady tried to tell me that they were out of sour cream when I literally could see the sour cream right in front of my eyes so they prioritize the in person orders and will not give mobile orders sour cream, therefore making customers upset, when they get a mobile order or a delivery and there's no sour cream but the whole time it's just not for mobile orders. Also shame on chipotle for letting this place run with no correct management and such bad reviews with no change. read more

If I could rate this Chipotle with negative stars, I would. The employees here are flat-out nasty and unprofessional. When I came in with my daughter, who has autism, I simply asked if they had a certain item, and instead of answering like decent human beings, the staff acted annoyed and dismissive, like we were wasting their precious time. The eye rolls, the rudeness, and the lack of common courtesy were beyond disgusting. Thinking maybe it was just a bad day, I gave them another chance and came back the next day to speak to the manager. Big mistake. The so-called manager couldn't care less. No apology, no concern, no accountability--just the same nasty attitude, only this time from someone who's supposed to set the example. If that's the type of leadership Chipotle hires, it explains everything. This place is a disgrace to the Chipotle name. It's bad enough when employees act like they hate their job, but when management doubles down with indifference, it shows me exactly how little they value their customers. And to treat a child with autism and her parent like an inconvenience? Shame on you. That's not just bad service, that's heartless. I'll be reporting this location to Chipotle corporate, because no family should have to put up with this level of disrespect. Went 5/18/26 at 6:30 (maybe find those staff members) no chicken, staff was rude and seemed annoyed at everything. absolutely SOOO stingy on the food, one of the bowls got about 1/4 of a scoop of corn. everything was made the smallest amount possible- insane paying $40 for 3 half filled bowls/burritos. so disappointed, tried this location before and it's never been better then this. chipotle used to be good and wanted, now you go if you want to be disappointed. read more

We placed an order through the ap and waited longer than told we would have to for the food to be ready. When we did get the order we found that the mild salsa (tomatoes) had been put on a taco that shouldn't have had them that same taco had the bottom stem of lettuce. All of the tacos had less meat than we've ever seen before and cut up much smaller. One of my tacos that I ordered lettuce on only had 3 little shreds of lettuce. An employee made a comment about seeing the end of the backed up orders. Located off of Main Street in Summerville, this location is kind of a pain in the butt to get to, but at least it's in a safe section of town. Besides the always backed up Main Street traffic is the endless sea of drivers sometimes blocking the auxiliary road to get to the restaurant. Next factor in the small parking lot and slim parking spaces (large SUV owners beware) and it can be a frustrating endeavor to say the least. However, this is where my irritation stopped. I do want to say I visited the shop right as they opened at 11am on Mon (they open at 10:45) and the place was very clean; inside and out along with the assembly line. As a note, the people that served me were extremely nice and always smiling. They made the experience very pleasant. Next the gentleman making my burrito was fast and willing to barter with me (I didn't get beans so I got extra rice - no charge). He loaded me up on the chicken which I very much appreciated. Checking out was quick but I'll admit I didn't get a soft drink but the area looked well stocked at opening and clean. As for the flavors, I got two orders of the guac and chips. My mother complained "there wasn't enough onions, and I don't care for it." However, I noticed her whole guac and chips were gone within 5 minutes - so I discount her opinion. Mine comment is that the guac was a bit heavy on the lime and yes a little light on the onion while it was chunky. True guac is more like a salad with tomatoes which is what I prefer and how I make it, but overall, I think Chipotle does a good job as most would probably love it. The chips were crispy with a touch of lime and salt. Perfect as always. As for the burrito, this one was finally big again, compared to out of state versions. The tortilla was warm, plenty of juicy chicken, fresh pico, perfectly cooked cilantro lime rice, cool sour cream, shredded cheese and you get the point. I had them make it how I like it and it turned out perfect b/c it was fresh and the chicken wasn't over cooked. Besides the location which isn't really their fault, Chipotle did me right and the unsung heroes were the staff that were really nice. Again, I wasn't there when it was busy, giving the protentional to be dirty and the staff to be in the "weeds" (sorry former chef talk) so I can only say it was a good experience and I have nothing negative to say. To "wrap up" (see what I did there?) this restaurant will give you big burritos of fresh food and if you're like me at 180 lb man, a burrito that lasted for 2 lunches. Give them a shot if you get the itch, I have no complaints. read more

Came here March 19th around 2pm. The portion size for protein was noticeably smaller than usual, and when I asked about it, I was told I'd need to pay extra for what is typically a standard amount. The interaction also felt a bit unfriendly. Overall, not the experience I expect here as someone who frequently visits Chipotle. THE WORST CHIPOTLE EVER! I am such a Chipotle fan and have given this business so much of my money over the years, but this location is HORRIBLE! They butchered my husband's order, basically giving us a bowl of sour cream, cheese and lettuce... there was maybe three pieces of meat. This was all after taking 45 mins to drive there and back. When I called, they said I can either drive all the way back for a remake or get a refund by calling corporate. I said I wanted my food for free and a remake, to which they said "no way." In this economy they need to think again. The restaurant is also always a disaster! I was there five minutes after the opened and it was a mess from the night before, NEVER CLEAN! This is the worst experience I've ever had at any fast food restaurant. I went in at 8:27 on Wednesday 5/20/2026 and was told by the employee working the line that they were out of white rice, fajita veggies, chicken, honey chicken, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream. Mind you behind him on the grill they had just pulled chicken off and started cutting it. I asked if we could have a portion of the chicken they were cutting and he proceeded to tell me it was for online orders ONLY! And if we wanted any of the items they were out of on the regular line we needed to place an online order for it. He mentioned that staff gets in trouble if they pull food for the regular line from the to go station. Now tell me how that makes sense? I bit my tongue and decided to see if I could place the order online, the earliest pick up time was 9pm... Also there was a gentleman behind me that asked the manager on shift why we couldn't have portions from the to go line since it looked like they were finishing up, and she told him "if you don't like it, you can leave and go to a different location". This is extremely unprofessional and Chipotle lost a lot of business tonight, so many people walked in and were told the same thing I was told and left. The manager with the black and red hair and staff are rude and unprofessional, cashier was rolling her eyes at the fact people are walking in and ordering food and she actually has to do her job! I don't know if corporate is aware of what's going on at this location but this has happened once before a few months ago, and I thought it was just a one time thing but it's not. I will not be returning to this location again. Do not eat here. These workers must be working for Moes southwest grill with the way they're driving away business. read more

I usually avoid Summerville location but I was in area and I do love Chipotle's guacamole. When I entered, everyone seemed to be working on something except the cashier who was looking around like "who is going to help her." One guy was changing out the rice and although I was standing right there, he never acknowledged me until he was finished with his task. A quick, "I'll be right with you." Would have been nice. I bought a chicken bowl with guacamole. The guacamole was nice and fresh and the quality I expected from Chipotle. What I did not expect was the chicken was so salty I almost couldn't eat it. Did the cook forget he had salted and poured more on? Also, as usual with this location, the drink area was very sticky and needed to be wiped down as did a number of the empty tables. read more

I haven't been to chipotle in such a long time! After doing some errands I really wanted something quick and this place was on the way home. On entering, this place is pretty clean. A lot of places to sit and eat but I took my order to go. I ordered a chicken bowl and added guacamole as an extra! (It's about 2.70 for the guac) The service was so so quick! My bowl was instantly made and filled to the top. I was pretty shocked but nonetheless happy! Overall, 10/10. The food was super good. Fresh and warm. I think chipotle will be on my quick food pick up rotation from now on! read more

This location in summerville deserves negative stars! The employees act like we are interrupting their "me time". The rice tasted old and crusty, the meat was dry and wait until I tell you what happened when I tried to order chips. There were chips clearly available in bags on the shelf right behind the cashier but when we said we wanted chips she said, "oh, those are only available for our online orders". So I said "you mean you're leaving those chips sitting there in case an online person wants them but a customer standing in front of you (me) who has already spent $15 can't get any chips?" The manager responded with "we can't give you those chips because then we might have to go into the kitchen and make more chips! " Gee I wonder why you would ever go into the kitchen and make food in a RESTAURANT!! I tried to explain to them how completely ridiculous that is but they just looked at me like I was crazy! So in order to get our chips we had to go sit down, pull out our phone and order them online. My husband went over to the counter to tell them he ordered them - instead of immediately giving us our chips, they told him he had to wait behind all the other online orders while our food was getting cold. About 10 mins later we got our chips. You just can't make this stuff up! And btw, there were too many employees standing around acting like there was nothing to do even though every table was dirty and trash was overflowing. Might need to get a new manager. Tonight I had one of my worst dining experiences in chipotle. I bought a steak burrito with queso, black beens, lettuce, and rice. I went last night to this location that frequented many times prior. Upon arrival I noticed that every single table was filthy dirty along with the floor underneath it. There were 8 people working behind the counter so there were plenty of workers. I then got up to the line to order. I was then told I could not get a cheese quesadilla. Literally, shredded cheese between 2 tortillas. She informed me it was only possibly online. Makes zero sense but whatever. I move on and am forced to purchase 4 kids meals when I only needed 2. It was time to order my bowl. I get to the are to get my guacamole and see this grayish tint of what they are calling avocado. I said something about the color and the person behind the counter said, "oh no, its certain kind of avocados that are this color." No ma'am. They are always green. Period. The entire area where the food was looked filthy. Food all over the place and not kept up at all. I went to sit down and opened my bowl to closer look at my food. After paying $40 I took 2 bites and couldn't stomach to eat anymore in fear of getting food poisoning. This is NOT acceptable. When we first moved here during Covid, this place was pretty good. Man have they gone downhill! They give meager portions and overpriced, but what really chaps my hide is that they don't have a whole lot of food prepared already during the lunch rush, which would be at 11:45. There is guy by the name of jack, that i got his name from a female who was working that day. First let me start by saying im always at this location and never had a problem until this new guy tried to charge me extra for meat which he only gave me a half scoop from the jump i asked him to jus put a little more on, not double meat but a little more to compensate what he didnt put on my plate. He also was very sloppy with making my food giving me half spoon full of rice which was not seasoned and didnt have any flavor had to tell him 3x to give me more rice. Secondly he didnt wash his hands before putting on gloves. His uniform was extremely dirty and he had a foul odor coming from him as well.
