Total chaos. Nobody working on the to go orders. The time they put on the app for pickup bears no resemblance to the time the food is actually ready. If you have a limited time for lunch go elsewhere. I'm getting so irate at these giant corporations taking as many orders through their apps as possible while having insufficient bandwidth to actually fulfill them. Nobody should have to wait this long for substandard Mexican fast food. In order to make it seem like they're meeting their goals with corporate they also send a notification through the app that your order is ready for pickup when it is not. We walked in with no predisposed notion of what we were going to experience in Chipotle. We scanned the offerings which were sparse and had questions regarding the choices of fillings. Upon visually checking out the offerings it was apparent that this place is an upscale Taco Bell that may serve healthier choices, but ours were lackluster and left us hungry. I had 3 tacos with pork, lettuce, tomato,cheese and I commented wheres the meat! They are very frugal with the quantities proferred in the tacos. BG had the salad, which she said tasted good but she to was hungry after finishing it. The only way to fill up was to choose rice as a filling or go next door to Gabby's and have a bagel. The ambiance is just plain not there. Walls were unfinished wood and tables bolted to the ground and home made lighting fixtures and seats most uncomfortable. Looks like most of their business must be take out cause no one would enjoy eating there. Not one decoration or drop of color in the whole place makes it look industrial not people friendly. Personally I am not charmed by their food, service and ambiance and if given the choice will not return. You are better served at Subway with one of their healthier foot long sandwiches. read more

Let me start by saying i am not a fan of Mexican food. My son and daughter love the place and decided to get dinner there one night. I was amazingly surprised at the price and the set up. I got a bowl to go with white rice, chicken, sour cream & peppers and onions. The food was totally delicious with a very reasonable price. The staff were extremely friendly and super fast, In and out in 5 minutes. This is definitely they best of the inexpensive fast food places in this area. With that said the food is amazing and super high quality. I highly recommend Chiotle and will defiantly be going a lot more. read more

This particular location serves SMALL PORTIONS. The last 3x we've been there, it's always these skinny, little teenage girls that serves SKINNY, LITTLE portions. I kid you not. It's like they hv no strength in their wimpy arms to scoop normal portions. And I am not a typical fat American that wants massively large portions, just normal please. We love Chipotle but rather go to Qdoba instead, where they serve larger, normal portions given by hefty, strong servers. read more

I like many am a big fan of Chipotle and the most common issue we have found with the chain is our local favorites change management and the quality of food we have come to crave is inconsistent. Thankfully this location in Syosset has maintained the quality standards we have come to expect every time we order and we are always satisfied. I eat here a lot and I'm usually happy with the meal but 3/5 times something is wrong or the service is bad. There's a big boy that works the register here a lot and is rude and lazy. They never bring the food to the Togo shelf and so you end up waiting like an Uber eats driver for your food. I have been a chipotle customer for a long while and this was the most disappointing and unacceptable experience I have ever had in one of their restaurants. The staff was incredibly rude and argumentative. I gave a simple order "plain bean burrito" which was met with back talk and confusion. I politely explained what I needed and requested my order again and was given heavy sighs, rolled eyes, and debates. I would say maybe they were having a bad day, but this encounter was just unnecessary and unacceptable. You know they say "B!t€#3$ sin for Chipotle" lol. I love chipotle!! I usually come here for lunch during week since I work in the area to satisfy my Mexican craving. The parking here can get a little crazy. I usually get the bowl with brown rice if I'm hungry or salad bowl for lighter meal. The Vinaigrette dressing is a good add on for salad and they have different salsa's. I like their new chorizo spicy sausage chop meat. The shredded pork and steak are good, the chicken is ok. The guac is a few extra dollars to add on but delicious :-p I like the buffet style of choices of meat, veg, beans, rice etc with option of half and half of two meats or double portion if you like variety (which I do :-)) I also like that there are healthy choices of brown rice or salad and if you don't want bowl you can order 3 tacos or burrito. Love this location, the employees are always friendly and the food is always good. Parking lot can fill up quickly and gets pretty crowded on weekends and during lunchtime. I have a lot of eating restrictions due to food allergies, but all their food here is fresh and simple without any additives and preservatives. Twice I've ordered, twice food was not ready more than 10 minutes after the selected pickup time (which was 20 minutes after the order was placed). Terrible place! It would be nice if they actually ANSWERED THE PHONE! I just had surgical and can't afford getting sick or a flare up so I ordered through Uber eats but I wanted to call to make sure there was no cross contamination with gluten! Finally the Uber guy gets there and we speak to them through his phone and ask that they remake it safely to avoid getting me sick. I called them 15 times!! Not one answer and the food got me sick now I am sick. The manager there is terrible what kind of person doesn't answer the phone or make sure the food is safe from allergens. They didn't even make the second bowl correctly! They made two of the same orders when there were two completely different ones. So the young guy taking the order was ok but not too pleasant. I was the only one on line and was on the phone trying to get the order right but this dude was acting like he was in a hurry and I felt it. Did he have somewhere to go??? Anyways so I put my order in for a bowl. And that was done...next the quesadilla. While the guy is doing the quesadilla I see a fruit fly going right next to the quesadilla. He doesn't even try to shoo it away but quickly wraps the quesadilla up with the fruit fly in it and rushes the quesadilla "a la fruit fly" to the back to the hot press. I was in shock for a second and then I decided to protest this atrocity. Ok I get it all restaurants might have fruit flies from time to time but don't insult my intelligence by trying to serve me a fruit fly in my food. I hope the ownership properly trains their staff about food safety going forward. I had to cancel my order and leave. Gotta admit that got me a little peeved. When I asked the gentlemen at the cashier he was rude about it and said no guac is always extra I don't know what to tell you. It's understandable if it's an honest mistake or something but not even a sorry? I ordered to pick up on the app and they took half and hour for them to make my food after I already came at the pickup time. Not only was it late but when I opened my burrito bowl THERE WAS NO MEAT. I ordered CARNITAS. And they also gave me the wrong beans but how do you make a bowl with no meat? And the funniest part, I called them right after I had initially ordered to ask if they could not put sour cream because I accidentally clicked it and you know what they said? "Um we legally can't do that or else we'll get sued" like ru serious? Definitely going to get sued now. Great staff, great fresh food, great service! I appreciate coming to this Chipotle location. There's parking thats shared with the neighbor stores Pizza Rev and Jamba Juice. Rush hour is crazy but they get the line down fast and still manages to provide great service. If you show your receipt to Jamba Juice next door you get some money off your order which is great!
