This place is just like any other Chipotle. This one used to be really full and have super long lines, but ever since the e coli thing, there has barley been anyone here. The place is big as it has a ground floor and an upstairs. The staff is ok, it really varies on the day and who you get- so they were not trained to act extra nice to customers or anything. As for the food, it is just ok to me. This Chipotle is pretty skimp on the portions, and overall I just feel that you can get a better meal for your money if you take your services to another place. Chipotle is cool because it is customizable, but overall it is just an ok place to me. Their items are definitely overpriced, and I can get way better Spanish food for the same amount as a burrito here (about 10 dollars). The lines are really long due to the college kids, but I heard they have online ordering. Make sure you know what you want because it's obnoxious, slows down the process, and makes everyone frustrated. That being said, it's an ok Chipotle. It's decently clean, the garbages are always filled but the employees are nice. The actually sitting area is tiny, the upper level is cool, but tiny. I've been going to this locations for a few years now. The food at this location is really good. Its what you expect Chipotle to taste like. Unfortunately with this location the employees change a lot. Rarely seen the same face twice. Which only means the food taste sometimes vary. I once received a bowl that was too salty. As a student at Hofstra with terrible dining services available to me on campus, Chipotle is truly a savior. I come here once every two weeks to get my fix (usually a chicken bowl) and usually leave satisfied. The -1 star was because earlier this January, the chicken in my chicken bowl was burnt to the point where I could not eat it. I heard several customers complain too. But chipotle resolved this issue by giving me a steak bowl instead, claiming that that's just how the chicken always is (not true! I would know!!). Besides that instance, Chipotle has always offered me great food in a clean environment. The lines are not that long and there is ample seating on both the first and second floors. The parking lot is kind of small so be wary when backing out because I've seen people get into accidents in the lot. read more

They have awesome burritos. I cannot get enough of the lime rice. If you love spicy food, try their spicy adobo steak with extra red-chili salsa. This combo has just the right amount of heat. The burritos are huge but I always end up finishing it. I can't resist. read more

Its Chiptole i know this place can get pretty packed around the hostra campus. i come here when i go to my mother in laws house and just need something to eat and thats pretty decent. the workers try to move the line as quickly as possible but it can get backed up at times. you can walk upstairs if there is no room and its pretty clean. not bad.. read more

I've gone to this Chipotle location several times with a friend after working out at Eisenhower Park. Business-wise, it's in a good location since it's right on Hempstead Turnpike near Hofstra, but the small parking lot gets crammed sometimes which can make navigation a little tricky. The staff has always been happy and polite when I've come here and the food certainly lives up to the high Chipotle standard. Finding a table has never been an issue since this location offers two floors of seating options. The place has always been clean as well, which is a huge plus. I'm not in the area too often anymore these days, but if I ever do find my way back, I'll definitely come to this Chipotle. read more

I have been to many Chipotle franchisees but have never experienced the freshness of food that I experience here. Its located close to my workplace so I end up going there very often and always find the place clean. My favorite choice is the burrito bowl and it always comes out just as good. If you know what you want, order online ahead of time so you can skip the 10 min queue. read more

First time having chipotle and it was pretty good. I am not a fan of spicy at all. I asked if the tomatoes are spicy and I was told no. I have a low tolerance of spicy, ex. a dash of black pepper. Who even considers big burritos possibly being a result of poor training over quality? I just appreciate those fat suckers! They better not change, now! Let me start from the beginning... I used to go to the Chipotle in Carle Place. That location is cool since it's definitely better than a lot of the locations in the city (where I first tasted Chipotle), but the Uniondale location definitely blows all of the others I've tried out of the water! I order a Chicken Burrito, with Brown Rice and Black Beans, Lettuce, Pico de Gallo, and Chili-Corn Salsa. I find that their chicken typically has more flavor/is better seasoned than the other locations. Even their rice packs more flavor! People get funny about the whole white vs. brown rice thing, but you don't taste or feel a difference when it's in the burrito. Due to time restrictions, I had no option but to go to the Carle Place location and it was definitely a disappointment compared to the Uniondale location! This is your spot! It's clean...just a bit cold at times, and they have a good amount of space to sit. read more

I am actually biased against this location, becuase I remember sucking down giant Long Island Iced Teas here when it was Monterey's and now walking in here for lucnh with my kids is just depressing. It is still a Chipotle, so I forgive. Everytime we order here they make monster sized burritos, which is probably more a sign of poor training than quality, but who cares. Still the best quick burrito on Long Island, with quality ingredients. And if you listen very carefully... you can still hear Chumbawamba, Lou Bega and a Freshman yuking in the distance. read more

This is my chipotle of choice. Being right near my school, I go here at least once or twice a week. The workers are extremely nice and always fill up my bowl or burrito. They are so accommodating with my sometime unusual requests. The place is very clean and there is a lot of seating. The line works quickly so that the wait usually isn't too long. The parking lot is kind of small so you have to find parking on the nearby streets sometimes but aside from that, it is great and I am always full afterwards. There is also a huge turnover of workers, i see new people all the time who mess up when rolling my burrito sometimes, but i get over that really quickly. read more

This Chipolte is across the street from Hofstra University, so it's a very busy location. Lots of students there for lunch, but the line does move quickly. The parking lot is very small; you may have to wait for bit until you find a spot to park. Once inside, I ordered a Barbocoa burrito, (which was delicious,) but it made me realize why I always get the bowl. The burritos are SO huge, that they're impossible to pick up and eat without the filling spilling out all over. Just out of curiosity, I ordered a bag of their chips. They were extra thin and crispy and light, with just the right amount of salt and lime. You don't even need salsa or guacamole. They were yummy! I visited this establishment a few days ago and I was very satisfied as a customer. I was very impressed with the courtesy and friendliness of the staff. There was one particular young lady that was extremely sweet and helpful. I believe her name was Monica. She helped me decide on exactly what I wanted to try for dinner. Pros: Food preparation is great! Assembly line is usually great. Customer service is great. Also, it's a Chipotle, so that automatically makes it pretty awesome. Cons: Parking is terrible, very small lot makes for a big problem. This is a very busy location. Tons of Hofstra kids storm the place around lunchtime, sometimes causing the line to literally go out the door. They also seem to have a high turnover rate, so lots of newbies around to destroy your burrito. All in all, it's a good Chipotle. If you're in the mood for a burrito, this will definitely do the trick...just be prepared to struggle to find parking and wait a while. read more

This was the first chipotle i ever been to, and i was not disappointed! The place was loud and crowded and there was a long line and it wasn't even during the lunch rush so i expected this place to have amazing food and it totally did! i was pretty confused at first because i never been anywhere like this but the employees helped me out and it was delicious! I love coming here, i totally recommend! Try the burrito bowl (i eat mine with chips) you will not be disappointed. I took one of my friends here and he really doesn't like spicy food, he loved the quality of the food and thought it was good but the spice was too much for him. Every time I eat at this Chipotle I receive terrible service, the food isnt fresh, there's never any parking, the line is always extremely long, and the chicken and peppers and onions is always burnt. I ordered a side of guacamole, and the male server who was at the salsa station only filled my container about 3/4ths of the way. He didn't scrape guac off of the serving spoon into the cup the way I've seen all other servers do it, but instead merely scooped a little into one of the cups, not bothering to fill it all the way. Especially given the extra $2.10 that guacamole costs at Chipotle, all servers should be trained on the standard practice of doling it out for fairness' sake. At the checkout line, seeing that my guacamole container wasn't full the way I've grown to expect from this one in the past, I commented to my friend who was standing next to me that as of late, this store had grown stingy with how much guac they give with an order. A couple of minutes later, already seated and about to eat my meal, one of the workers came up to my table, said he overheard what I said about the guac portion, apologized that I hadn't been given my full size of guac, and handed me an additional portion. I was incredibly appreciative and thanked him profusely. However, one of my other friends who was further behind me in line then said that he heard the workers mocking me for "complaining in front of us," and that they hated when customers did that. So while the last employee's gesture was very kind and possibly well-meant, the fact that this gesture was paid only after the workers spoke ill of me behind my back based on a personal conversation I was having with my friend really soured it. All employees should be respectful of their customers--fast food though it may be, Chipotle is no exception. Especially in light of the PR nightmare that Chipotle is currently and regrettably experiencing, trash-talking their customers isn't a step in the right direction. read more

If you catch the place while it's empty, you'll get your food in 3 minutes. Portions are too big to eat all at once, doing so will call for fear from your peers, not respect.
