The staff was extremely rude and not accommodating at all. I paid for tortillas and they gave me the huge ones for tacos, which is not what I wanted. When I politely asked if I could get the smaller ones instead, she just said no because she already made it. I even told her I was willing to pay for the correct ones, and she still refused. What made it worse was her attitude. She was dismissive, shut the window on us, and just walked away without trying to help at all. It felt really unprofessional and honestly disrespectful. Cold Vibes, and Stingy Service...Never Again!!! I visited the newer Chipotle on Davis Street in Vacaville on June 3rd at around 9:30 PM. still 20 minutes before their 10 PM closing time. When I walked in, the place was nearly shut down already. All the food containers were pulled out, and the team was deep into cleaning mode. I was the only customer in the building, yet not a single person greeted me. I stood there for several minutes while they kept wiping down and moving around me like I didn't exist. There were at least five employees working, and while I can't say all of them looked at me, I know for sure that one woman kept scrubbing right in front of me without even glancing up, and a young man turned, made eye contact, and just turned right back around without a word. It was uncomfortable, awkward, and honestly rude. Finally, the woman in front of me muttered, "Just give me a second," like I was bothering her. Then an older woman (who I believe was the manager) finally stepped in and offered to help me. I ordered a kids meal and wanted that Honey Chipotle Chicken but it wasn't much left of it so I end up just asking for the steak and politely asked if she could include the last few scraps of the honey chipotle chicken since that's what I came to originally order and they were clearly about to toss it out since there wasn't even a full serving left..it surely wasn't fresh Just the thick hard bottom scraps of the container.. It definitely was sitting there for a minute by how it looked. There were maybe six pieces left in the pan. She gave me three. Then she added a few tiny chunks of steak, and that was it. Claimed she was giving me half and half I raised my eyebrow when she did that.. Thinking to myself..wow! .. really... You're going to be that petty huh. I was so irritated and upset that I didn't even eat the food that night.. I was so turned off by the whole experience, I really wanted to walk right out. I end up buying tacos from another spot instead. Then the next day, when I finally ate the meal, I had to add my own chicken at home because the portion was so freakin small it wasn't even 2 oz of meat. That's when I realized the steak was mostly gristle, very dry & tough, and the rice wasn't edible at all It was dry, cold, and disappointing all around. I know it was just $6.43, but this wasn't even about the money..it was the complete lack of basic service and human decency. The whole thing felt stingy, petty, and dismissive. I've already contacted corporate, but based on past experiences and their current rating on here, as well as the other Vacaville location on East Monte Vista.. I don't expect much to come from it. I'm officially done. If you want to get your money's worth go to Que Onda Taco bar right next to Olive garden. They give you really generous and more then fair portions and I don't even generally eat a lot I end up getting the kids bowl and it looked like a regular size bowl plus they have all types of different protein choices from chicken, steak, shrimp, brisket, pork.. whatever you desire. Plus the customer service is awesome! I'm tired of supporting these corporations and franchises just to pay top dollars for below subpar service. read more

It's basically a giant hunk of an unmixed avocado with the hard pit shell. And to have somehow gotten that scooped into a side serving cup had to be a sign that they really don't care. Since opening we have tried this location a few times and it's always been great. We live in Fairfield but take the drive because this location offers better service. It's smaller dining, so a group of people fill up the room quickly but employees work fast. I like that I they have a drive through for quick pick up when ordering through the app. We were pleasantly surprised on our last visit by Sheila. She made the most beautiful bowl and burritos. I apologize before ordering because we had several kids at home and they're all picky eaters up to an extent. But with each order she out so much love into it. This is a terrible location. I ordered food through the app to pick up at the drive thru for the sake of convenience. It was getting late, had the kids in the car, and we wanted something quick and easy. We get in line. It's a short line and only 2 cars are in front of us. We waited about 20 minutes in that line and the car in front of us was at the window for a loooong time passing the bag back and forth with the worker. I'm assuming they keep getting the order wrong. So it's finally our turn, I show my name and confirmation number and the worker just cannot find it. In fact he seemed dumbfounded and just confused and didn't know what to do. He was just scratching his head and shrugging and he told me he thinks he gave my order away already. So I ask what I should do next and he didn't know. SO I ask if I should go inside to get this resolved and he asks me to come inside. I go inside and go wait by the register asking for help whenever anybody has a second to acknowledge me. I'm clearly ignored. I'm not even being rude at this point, I'm trying to be patient and understanding. I wait another 5 minutes and finally get someone's attention, it just so happened to be the same guy working the drive thru. I ask him if my order is finally re-made and he's like "no. I gave your order away already" and shrugs. He then tells me to fall in line and order my food and explain to the cashier what happened, and to get credit or a refund or something. So I go do that. At this point it's been like a 40 minute ordeal of me trying to get my food after what should've been a quick grab and go. I finally reorder my food, and explain to the cashier what happened, showing proof that I paid and just hoping she can make it right since they already wasted my time and inconvenienced me. She was a middle aged Hispanic woman with attitude. She was rude with me, interrupting me demanding I call the 1-800 number to refund my first payment and that I have to pay for this meal. Really?? Any other restaurant would've made it right and just remake the order and give it to me without a fuss. I understand that she is probably following the policy, but I just hate how rude she was. I wasn't even giving her attitude UNTIL she was rude to me first. I needed to get back to my car asap so I just paid and called the number. It was super annoying as the man (Middle Aged stocky Hispanic man) screwed up and did nothing to resolve his mistake. Instead just pushed me onto another coworker to deal with the issue. The way this was handled made no sense. Management needs to do a better job hiring because these people clearly don't know customer service. I would go to this Chipotle location over the one by the Nut Tree any day. There's never a line, it's always clean, and the employees are always so helpful! I complimented the employee who was helping us on her glasses and she was ready to tell me the model number and everything so I could go buy it myself lol. That aside, the food is always good. Honestly, with any Chipotle, portions are going to vary and it really depends on who's serving you (even though it is supposed to be a general rule of how much food to put), but I feel like my food always has a decent amount of meat and other toppings at this location. Same goes for the chips - it's always hit or miss at any Chipotle location and I feel like if you're an avid Chipotle-goer, then you know this. I have unfortunately given this location another chance today and was let down. I couldn't rate higher than 2 stars. The well seasoned chicken was the only thing that came out sufficient in today's bowl. The rice was bland, the beans tasted like canned food, the mild salsa was was extremely hot (way too many jalapeños, the corn salsa also was too spicy, and the sourcream taste spoiled. To top it off the chips were overcooked and lack the salt and lime flavor. Someone needs to review the standard guidelines and follow the established plans. read more

Food is delicious, but prices are a RIP OFF and portions are small. Doing keto diet, so had to skip rice, beans and salsa. Meat portion was so small so had to add extra meat. Basically had steak, cheese, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole and it cost me $22.65. That kind of pricing and lack of value will prevent me from going back to Chipotle.
