I believe they make it out of Ulu/breadfruit (which is an awesome local inclusion) but the crust came out super hard. On the bright side, the ambiance and large menu makes it a buzzing place that I wouldn't mind stopping by again if I'm in the area.

Definitely consider sharing their entrees with another person. We ordered the Churro French Toast and Breakfast Burrito and they were both delicious, but way too big of a portion for one person. Neither of us could finish our food. CONS Barely any seating area inside. There are a few outdoor tables to sit at in the parking lot, but they fill up pretty quickly. We found more success going across the street inside Ching Young Village (the shopping center nearby). This place gets busy, so be prepared to wait. Parking is limited in the actual building and most of them were on a bit of an incline, but Ching Young Village also had several open stalls. While it was delicious, I wish the Churro French Toast tasted more like french toast and less like malasadas. We got the full portion and it was basically like eating 4 malasadas and two scoops of whipped cream cheese frosting. A little too indulgent for a breakfast for our tastes. TIPS Arrive early. We got here at 8:30am on a Saturday and still had to wait over half an hour for our food. Order from the mobile kiosk since it's a shorter line and plan to share with others in your party. Parking and indoor seating is limited, so I recommend ordering your food and then driving across the street to Ching Young Village to eat in one of their outdoor tables.

Garlic shrimps were nicely seasoned and tasty. Churro french toast was so good! Portions are very generous and we were so full at the end of our meal. We found some little ledge seating with 2 chairs by the entrance door. The inside is really cute and they have a variety of stickers and little things you can purchase as a souvenir.

Has ample free parking in a cute little mall. There are self checkout machines in Princeville but not in the Foodlands I know on Oahu. I took a pic below. The store is clean and well stocked. There once was another Foodland on Kauai. The Kapaa location was allowed to slowly deteriorate (sound familiar?) and the locals simply drove to the next light and shopped at Safeway. Not a possibility in Princeville. If you need a real supermarket the only alternative is that same Safeway in Kapaa. On the plus side...they have good poke. If you trust their refrigeration!

I understand that people have bad days but the girl behind the counter had a horrible attitude. A customer was asking more information on what the creamer used in the drinks was. The server was extremely short with her and it ended up that another customer in line had to explain the creamer to her! She also just couldn't care less about the customers or any questions in general and was very short with everyone. I won't let that take away from this awesome spot though. I got the mango smoothy and lilis favorite that is matcha, lavender, and coconut and it was very good!

Frequented some of the same stands. Bought 2 loaves of organic sourdough bread. Samosas from the Indian food stand.. Gluten free bakery items from Hanoli (?) Girl stall. The stand has regular bakery items as well that look good, Especially their croissants. Went to the other produce stand as they had a bigger selection. Bought 2 honey sugarloaf pineapples which were extra sweet & $1/lb. cheaper than white sugarloaf pineapples. Bought several mangoes. Cut some this morning & they were very good. Found a stand selling 100% cotton kitchen towels, beeswax paper, reusable paper towels & a few other kitchen items. They had the cutest Hawaiian prints for decent price. I bought 3 rolls of beeswax paper & a set of matching kitchen towels & reusable paper towels as a gifts. Also bought a cute Hanalei Farmer's Market cloth grocery bag for future trips. They were sold at the entrance to the market. I look forward to going to this farmer's market next year with my new bag.
