I went to their Southside location at Benton and San Francisco, but it's the same people and same chocolates. These are good chocolates, definitely the best available in town. (They're leaps and bounds better than that place in Heritage Square). Good quality dark chocolate exterior and flavorful fillings, though I did find some of the fillings a bit salty and wished there were more chocolate interior options rather than all "chocolate outside, something else inside." Some of the flavors were a bit too, uh, Sedona out-there for me, but that's just my personal taste, so I can't hold that against them. Why not 5 stars? Well, they're not in the same tier as the all-timers of fancy chocolates, like LA Burdick in Boston or the like, despite being priced about as high. But if you want fancy handmade chocolates, it's a great option to have in town. read more

I love finding something unique and different! Chocolita is a chocolate café but so much more! The chocolate is botanical, plant-based and organic with such variety! I can't wait to taste all of the truffles I purchased. The chili mangoes are amazing! I had the Heartswell Sipping Chocolate and it was so tasty and unique. Stopped in after lunch, we'd actually seen the owner/chocolates at the farmer's market the day before but it got too rainy before we could check it out! So glad we happened upon her shop! Hubby had an oak milk mocha coffee and I bought 4 diff. chocolates, my fave so far is the dark raspberry but Persephone's is a close second! I'm waiting to savor the other 2! Wow, this place is so cool. Such a neat vibe inside that is very welcoming! The chocolate is completely safe for me with all of my food allergies which makes this my new favorite place to get my sweets! I have so many new favorites, and some that I never thought I'd like which I do. So much flavor, so healthy, a little more expensive than store chocolates, but that is to be expected with organic, dairy free, soy free, gluten free, plant based, with low glycemic coconut sugar! Not to mention the owner is super rad and explains how it's all made, which is way cool! I find it worth every penny, no doubt about it! I was craving hot chocolate and found this magical place and was immediately drawn to the plant-based aspect of it. It's difficult to find dairy free deserts in general but Chocolita made it easy- and delicious! There are many herbal & botanical elements to the chocolate offered. I opted for the Heartswell hot chocolate and it had Lionsmane and a small amount of Ayahuasca.The drink was an experience in itself as it definitely felt like a hug in a mug with earthy flavors. We also got some chocolates, all uniquely flavored and decorated nicely. It's so amazing that an independent woman business owner created this concept, I wish her nothing but the highest success. I loved the hippie vibe inside the place as aromas of chocolate filled the air. The worker who helped us was so sweet, she explained all the options fully and made the experience engaging. I am si happy this shop exists, the quality of the chocolate, coffee and hot cocoa are all very high. Everything I have ordered here is perfectly made, not too sweet. I love healthy treats and so do my 7 and 10 year old, Chocolita is a favorite of ours. They make their own almond milk so that is usually what I get if I have sipping chocolate. For chocolates a few that I love are the Orange Dream and the PB&J frogs. It's so nice to get a treat that isn't full of white sugar and preservatives. The staff is very nice here. This is more of a production location than a chocolate shop. It has very limited seating for enjoying the sipping chocolate. This chocolate shop is aiming for out of the ordinary chocolate by focusing on low glycemic and botanical chocolate. I applaud their effort. Their pine pollen and lemon sipping chocolate was the favorite of what we had there. Their ancho and cayenne sipping chocolate was also good albeit not as smooth or as strong as sipping chocolate made with water rather than almond milk. We bought a box of their truffle gift set to experience a full range of their offerings. I just am not a fan of that style of chocolates. I prefer a creamier smoother texture and more subtle flavors. read more

I recently bought a Chocolita's product called, "Pine Pollen Lemon," made with 59% cacao raw white chocolate. The legend on their packaging sounded great, and promising. It said: "Lemon and Pine Pollen, a complete protein that packs over 200 vitamins, nutrients and minerals, combine into an irresistible potent superfood bar." Getting some additional (complete) protein drew me in because I need to increase protein in my diet. So, I bought it, starting eating it, and then read the fine print. Here is the truth about this 'bar': It is a "Super-Fat Bar", but hardly a "Superfood bar." It has 20g of fat (13g/Sat. Fat)!!! And the "Protein" content was - Zero...as in: "Protein 0g." False advertising and not at all delicious! Don't waste your money. This alone would make me question anything this company is producing and promoting. read more
