Quick grab and go meals that are pretty delicious. We got some takeout for a birthday celebration (noodles for long life) - hehe. We were out all day so didn't have time to cook. Glad there are places like this to grab something to feed the whole clan! And prices are pretty decent and the staff was very nice. We went with: - beef with broccoli - chicken Mei fun (thin rice noodles) x2 - shrimp egg foo young - shrimp fried rice x2 Thanks, Choi's!

    Cracked curb plus structural damage

I came to this place for some food for dinner but I was welcomed to a dirty environment boxes everywhere and it took almost 30 minutes for three items. The environment of the building looks like it is in need for repair. They have changed prices and not updated the order board. Overall the food was OK.

Lol. It's really not that bad. My first impression of this business consisted of several coworkers dubbing it the "Shady Shack" for its appearance. If that weren't enough, it actually did get shut down for a while due to a health inspection. But hey, it's open again! That means they started throwing out the spoiled meat and cleaned up the rat droppings, right? Right? Yes, because it's been about six hours, and I have yet to contract explosive diarrhea. Regardless, how else are you gonna beat a frickin $4.99 lunch combo? You're not. Of course, it's not real Chinese, but you barely understand what that means anyways; you just want some b******* sweet and orange Tso's chicken with nondescript MSG rice, and by god, that's what you're gonna get. Seriously though, the flavor is not bad.

Food we ordered was not edible

I would of given this restaurant a 0 Do NOT waste your money eating this food...we ordered food & picked up this food It was not edible. the shrimp fried rice was hard, ribs were cold, & burnt. The egg tools were old. After calling to make a complaint management told me they neededthe product back before. Giving us a refund .I explained it was in the trash .she sent a driver to our house to get the food from the trash, after talking to her again & asked if he could just take a pic. She told me that if I bought a shirt from Walmart & requested a refund I would have to give back the product. I gave the driver the trash & the manager told him he had to bring it back to the restaurant. I am planning on calling the health department to report this & hope they will get shut down..

This rice hits the spot. Order through drive thru. A great side to Safe Harbor shrimps.

Don't order online, they won't receive it "the system messes up a lot". We got the steamed dumplings, Kung Po chicken, general cho's, and chicken mei fun. It was bare minimum ok, everything tasted exactly the same. There wasn't a difference in the sauces used and it's very flavorless. They use yellow rice vs making your own fried rice.

Choi's Chinese is to Drive Thru Chinese as Chick-Fillet is to Chicken. A Staple!! This is a little place tucked under the overpass on Mayport Road, which makes it difficult to get to but worth the turn around. They don't have indoor seating, this is take out and delivery only. The Pu Pu Tray for $5.95 is great and gives you a taste of everything. I really like the Low Mein Noodles as well. I have one daughter that only gets the Chicken on a stick and for $3.95 for 4 of them, I let her! The Chef Specials are plentiful and cheap. The most expensive one is the Seafood Delight at $10.95. I can almost feed our family here for the same price as McDonalds!

The food is always consistent and the service is professional and polite. You get plenty of food to share or for lunch the next day.

Authentic Cantonese restaurant in Jax!…read more Love the location. Close proximity to many shopping destinations near by. Dishes: They have full service push cart dim sum during lunch hours. Especially enjoy the rice Turnip cake that reminds me of my childhood. They also have sticky rice and savory short ribs. Other Delicious highlights include the fried taro balls with the soft centers encased in the crunchy fried outer dough. Yum yum yum One can also order off menu a la carte. . Dinner is table service. Best seafood pan fried noodles on this side of town. The Cantonese ginger scallion lobster is the bomb. Paradise in your mouth. Service: Efficient food service to your table. Agree with other reviewers that some wait staff have a cold persona. My advice is bring your appetite and your stomach will happy. Keep calm and munch on!

This is probably one of the only dim sum restaurants with the authentic Hong Kong style carts that…read morethey push around and you pick your items from the carts (Tim Wah has it sometimes). I would come back for the experience but the quality of the food was mediocre. The best thing I ordered was the roast BBQ duck; not the juiciest but had good flavor. The turnip cake was mushy in the middle and hard/chewy on the edges; wouldn't recommend it. The beef rice noodle rolls had no flavor at all and it was ground beef for the filling instead of a compacted beef roll like a mini meatloaf that most dim sum places have. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Pretty decent Chinese take-out. Note 4 stars only in comparison to other Chinese delivery options,…read more since those standards seem low. Would be 3 against all Asian cuisine restaurants without delivery. I'll be honest, I haven't tried much Chinese in the Hodges Atlantic/beach area, because the reviews generally aren't great and pictures less than appealing. But I really NEEDED some Chinese, and I decided instead of doing carryout somewhere that looked better, I'd try delivery from what appeared most promising that would deliver to me... Hot Wok. Overall I was pretty happy and will definitely order from here again (but will occasionally try to find something I can call great). Firstly I appreciate that they have dinner combos at a decent price (main, pork fried rice & pork egg roll... you can change rice or egg roll type for small upcharge) because otherwise I have to pay a ton to get a main and something other than plain fried rice. Delivery service unfortunately took 1hr 20min, when they said 45min... on a Wednesday night at 7pm. It was the "bad winter weather" day, so maybe lots of people were ordering delivery? Guy taking my order was very helpful as I had lots of questions. Ok, on to the food. Kung pao chicken really good, great flavor, not at all spicy though, included green peppers, lots of celery & carrots, peanuts, couple mushrooms And baby corn (I ordered no onion)... I'm going to ask if they can add zucchini next time and maybe more peppers. Or try the szechuan cocker which they said had more green veg. Sesame chicken disappointing primarily due to how breaded and fried, too much heading and parts were really hard and chewy. Also only 3 broccoli florets, but flavor of sauce was good. Pork fried rice good in that not greasy like many places, rice itself low flavor but the pork was yummy and sweet (tiny cubes), plus lits of peas and carrots. Chicken fried rice was disappointing as was just chicken, no veg. Egg rolls pork & shrimp really disappointing, almost entirely bland cabbage...but fried well and the shrimp tasted really fresh which was a surprise. Homemade sour & souce sauce good. Enjoyed the egg drop soup, a bit of that gelatin thickness but not too much, no green onions if you're wondering. Crispy noodles come with soup are good, but I prefer the ones made of wonton wrappers. Overall I'll come back but will probably avoid the fried chicken dishes and get singe other appetizer besides egg roll.

I ordered quite a few things for delivery: including lo mein, hot and sour soup, fried rice, orange…read morechicken - altogether almost $100 worth of food. I threw almost half of it away. Tasteless. I usually don't do negative reviews but this is just a public service warning..
