Between the two, I like the coffee version more, but you really can't go wrong with either! The ambiance here is just as good as the drinks. It's super spacious with lots of seating, and has an edgy, industrial aesthetic. This is a solid spot to catch up with friends or to just sit and sip. While I enjoyed the nuttiness, the cream was a bit too heavy for my personal preference so I couldn't taste the matcha as much. I also tried my friend's Einspänner, which was absolutely delicious and something I'd definitely come back for. Another friend ordered the Hojicha Latte, and it had a perfect balance of roasted tea flavor and sweetness. My only downside was that it was quite warm inside during our May visit. The AC didn't seem to be running, which made it uncomfortable to stay for an extended study session or hangout. Hopefully that's something they address as Orange County approaches the hotter summer months. Overall, I'm excited to return and work my way through more of their drink menu.
