Love the salad however I've always wanted to try the soup. I've always been told it's 'sold out.' So tonight I arrive before 9pm to this location that closes at 10pm. Well they POURED OUT THE SOUP right before I walked in. The explanation was that they're slow and everyone wants to leave on time when they close at 10 pm so the breakdowns have already begun. CHOP STOPPPPP! My second time here I like this place. Clean, friendly, super healthy menu. Service is always great. I ordered the Cilantro Onion Bowl the portion was perfect and if you want extra anything its only 75 cents. I got the salsa sauce DELICIOUS, and ended up getting extra chicken & added beets OMG DELICIOUSNESS... My GF ordered the more vegan way and now she cant stay away from this place... She says that making a salad at home isnt the same is that true? Also make sure you dont drench with it sauce or dressing, make sure you get to taste the FOOD not drink the sauce! I love chopped salads because I don't have to be strategic about how to get all the ingredients in my salad into one bite or try to eat my ingredients evenly. I know that just totally made me sound crazy but it's sadly the truth. Chop Stop is a great option for a healthy lunch. You can select from one of the chopped salad options or you can make your own. There is a huge variety of ingredients to pick from and they're all super fresh. You can also either get your dressing tossed into the salad or have it on the side. The parking at this location during lunch can be a total pain in the ass. The wait can also be pretty bad. The service is pretty good though. The employees are all pretty nice and patient. read more

I would love to say I was impressed with this place but that would be a lie. It was okay. I was looking for a good choice for a vegetarian but the pre-made salads only had one option without meat and it really wasn't all that flavorful. Added to that, the sweetened iced tea tasted like it was sweetened with an artificial sweetener, which I don't ever use. All-in-all, I'd have to say it wasn't worth the trip. The food quality is just average. There are few girls whom i think are the managers, they are always on top of their game. The rest of the staff specially the night shift could not care less. The portions are never consistent. One day you get a bowl and its filled all the way to the top and other times you might end up with less than half a bowl. I used a Groupon, so I had 14 dollars to spend, so I ordered a chicken noodle soup to round out the purchase. The soup was nothing spectacular. While they were generous with the chicken in my salad, they seem to have skimped on the soup. I also wish they had more than one size of soda. I like that they had 4 different diet choices, but I kept having to go back for refills. The place was spotlessly clean, and all three employees were especially friendly and seemed to love their jobs. Super disappointed with this salad shop. I ordered a chop stop classic and Cobb. I had the cilantro lime dressing on the side in case I didn't like it. Good thing because the dressing tasted nothing of cilantro or lime unfortunately. But my biggest complaint is that the salad and all its components were very tasteless. Also, no restrooms. You get to customize your salad or bowl however you like, and the ingredients are always fresh. I don't know why but it seems that salads always taste better when they're chopped up into small pieces, and this place definitely lives up to its name. The employees are always very friendly and you can dine inside or in the outside patio area but there is no public restroom, which is annoying. Also their dressings are a little underwhelming, they all taste a bit artificial. I make my own dressing at home. Super yummy! I love getting salads from here on my work lunch. It also travels well in their to-go container when driving. The top has never popped open when falling off the seat. I like making my own chop salad, comes with 6 mix-ins, which always covers everything I want. They don't over or under use the salad dressing when they mix it in so that's nice. Very very good. 6 toppings was more than enough for me and it was tasty. One of the girls helped me order and even let me try the dressing. The options are the best part, the whole is definitely greater than the sum of its parts. No component is completely crave worthy, but it is overall solid. Ten bucks for a monster salad and drink is reasonable, IMO; maybe more like $$ would be appropriate.
