This place is an insult to food. My company ordered from this place today and after trying 1 bite of my order i knew i would rather starve. The first warning i will give is this: This place is a salad place, which might not be a surprise to some, but when you look at their menu and see the "Chopurrito" bowls you think, ok I don't feel like salad I can get this. THIS IS A LIE! This place is ONLY a salad place anything else they make poorly made and designed by people who haven't eaten anything other then a salad in years. For some reason, instead of getting the cilantro rice, which sounded tasty, i was given quinoa (and I wasn't the only one). The chicken was dry as a desert and the black beans were nearly as dry. There was a general lack of flavor (the "salsa" on the side was just a chunky, vegi filled, tomato water). But worst of all was the temperature. I got my food as soon as it arrived at the building, and while i wasn't expecting it to be hot there was no reason for my burrito bowl to be COLD! That is right, a burrito bowl that is barely warm on the top (just enough to have melted the cheese) and then nearly ice cold all through out the rest. This alone proves to me that these people know nothing beyond salad and should be avoided. Add in the fact that they forgot not just parts of some people's orders but even WHOLE ITEMS, despite the fact the order was place days ahead of time and was ordered and picked up ahead of any lunch rush. I will say it, never go here if you don't want a salad or if you have more then a couple of people. EDIT: Found out that the quinoa was not changed by the company and that mine wasn't the only order that was bad/messed up. UPDATE: Was contacted by the shop and found out a few things. The Quinoa thing is an issue with postmates. Postmates defaults to quinoa instead of the rice like it should and the person submitting the order for the company didn't know, so that is on Postmates. Also found out that the reason for my chopurrito bowl being cold is because the quinoa is cold. Still feel that it should have been warmed up but at least I know why. They did offer to give me something free to make up for it, but i decided not to take it. I will say this, it seems like their customer service is pretty good at least. Upgraded to 2 stars because multiple issues were not their fault. read more

My favorite stop for lunch or dinner when I am in the area. I travel a lot on business and it is difficult to find healthy food that is also fast. I usually build my own salad but have tried a few pre-selected salad combos as well. Any salad can also be made into a warm bowl or wrap sandwich. I've come here a couple of times when I need to treat my body better. The dining area has been modified to adhere to social distancing but the service is friendly nonetheless. There's a variety of delicious salads (cause let's face it, a salad is none of our first choices) but I'd also recommend adding their pretzel bread. The pricing structure is kinda confusing and the person who took my order didn't explain it to me and I still don't really understand it. The salads were very delicious and filling, but the service was not great which explains the 3 stars. At first when my boyfriend & I walked in the service was good, the girl who took our order noticed it was our first time & she was kind enough to explain to us the different options when it came to ordering. They gave us our salads & as we were walking out, I noticed one of the salads was wrong. So I walked back in and explained that they made us the wrong salad. We had ordered a Cesar Salad but received the Viva Mexico Salad with jalapeños. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience of their mistake, they made it seem like there was nothing they could do to fix their mistake. Ordered Caesar Salad and Chef Salad. Salads were chopped and good portion. However, they came with one small container of dressing. It's easy to say "just pay for more dressing", but Chop Shop is dedicated to salads. They were not edible. It's like chewing only veggies. read more

This place is great for a salad but I had a recent incident tonight where I asked for tuna in my salad and did not get tuna in my salad. While I understand that the customer is responsible to check the receipt to make sure everything is right, it is still incredibly frustrating when you speak clearly and loudly and the person on the other side of the counter completely ignores the order. After calling your store to express my frustration the person on the other end asks if I want to speak to their shift leader Chop Stop, train your employees to think on their own and not rely on a Supervisor or Shift Leader to resolve an issue that could have been smoothed over with a simple gift card to keep me as a customer. read more

Yes the salads are a little pricey but they're rather filling and delicious and when I say filling I don't mean for like 30 minutes. I came in last night for a salad and when I got home the wrong salad was in the bag. I called immediately & the girl who made the salad apologized. We agreed I would stop by the next day for a salad. I went back today. I called in advance & the girl that answered the phone found my name on a list, said no problem and took my order. When I arrived I was met with a sarcastic comment about the name on my receipt, 'eyebrow raises' and SEVERAL questions from the manager - over a single salad. I felt like I was being interrogated; as if I was trying to scam her for a free lunch or something. Instead of asking me 21 questions she really should have apologized for my inconvenience & the fact I was sent home with the wrong salad the night before. I was extremely offended. After some research, to my surprise, I found that Chop Stop is a chain. I was surprised about this because of the unprofessional treatment I received when coming into the Rancho Cucamonga store. This kind of experience is usually exclusive to "mom-n-pop" places, in which the employees feel so comfortable with their jobs that feel they can treat customers however they want. I assume the lady was a manger because she wasn't in a uniform, and she spoke to me like I was one of her children. When she needed me at the counter she said "Hey, come here." I assume that because I am a young man, she felt that it was acceptable to speak to me with a disregard for manners or customer service. Despite this, there is no excuse for speaking to customers like this, especially at her position. I would expect this lack of professionalism from someone a little less experienced. This is what distinguishes a place like this from a place like In-N-Out. When going into In-N-Out you are greeted with the same great service at every location. At places like Chop Stop, friendly and good customer service is hit or miss. read more

Horrible customer service from their assistant manager Dillon. I ordered 2 salads on Postmates which totaled $44.00, Raquel filled my order but did not include the utensils. I called, Dillon said "what do you want me to do?" I told him I was at a location that had no utensils, I was at work, how am I supposed to eat these expensive salads? His response "sorry, I don't know what to tell you". Then he accused me of yelling (which I wasn't) and said he's trying to help me but I wasn't letting him.
