One of my favorite things to eat are salads; especially on a hot day. I was in the Rancho Cucamonga area and decided to try out Chop Stop. They are located on Foothill at a shopping center. In my opinion, they have plenty of parking. When I arrived, I was welcomed by Erika and asked if I been to Chop Stop before. I said No I have not and she explained how they work. I decided on getting the Asian Chop Chicken Salad and waited for a few mins for the order to be completed. The Asian Chop Salad comes with: Double Roasted Chicken, Carrots, Cucumbers, Crispy Wontons, Edamame. The size of the salad in my opinion is very generous. My order was ready and I was ready to have the Asian Chop Chicken Salad. The salad was prepared fresh and I especially loved the salad dressing for the Asian Chop. I could taste ingredients in my salad and enjoyed it. My overall experience was great and the customer service was good. This place is good if you're on a diet and need portion control. For the same price you could probably go to Souplantation and get unlimited carbs, salad, soup and dessert. I had the kale chop and luckily they put the Italian dressing on the side and I was able to eat the salad without any dressing. It tasted great with just the feta, cranberries, carrots and eggs. I probably would omit the chicken next time. The sweetness of the cranberries and carrots complimented the salad well enough that I didn't need anything extra. Also they had a variety of gluten free cookies for sale that looked good, so you can get your dinner and dessert there. If you're a crossfitter or looking for a healthier alternative to drive-thrus or to-go places then Chop Stop is the solution. Very pricy for a mediocre salad. I got the Chop Stop classic which was almost $10. I made it a meal which was an extra $4 which gets you a fountain drink and a bag of chips. The only good thing about my meal was the Spicy Dill Pickle chips. When the best thing about your meal is the chips... then that's pretty sad. Unfortunately, my husbands lunch wasn't great either. He asked for a turkey wrap with a lemon vinaigrette but instead, it was drenched in a ranch sauce. We are very happy with our salads tonight, but the reason I wanted to come give a review is because I'm quite impressed with their packaging. Our salads came in something called "The Bottle Box" which I researched a little, and it seems that they spent the extra dollar on using more responsible plastic. And the forks were eco-friendly. I hate takeout and delivery places that don't care about the environment at all. But anyways, the salads were delicious too and quite filling for me (a big eater)! After a Vegas foodie trip of not-so-healthy food, I broke down and tried Chop Stop with my family. I had the Caesar Chop and I was pleasantly surprised by the very large serving! One serving is good enough for an entire meal, or 2-3 side salads. The Caesar Chop has Romaine lettuce, roasted chicken, shaved parmesan cheese, hard-boiled egg, celery, cucumber, croutons, and Caesar dressing. Caesar salad is my favorite of all time and Chop Stop didn't let me down. You can order from the preset salad menu or pick your own ingredients (like you do at Chipotle). They also offer Chop Wraps (salad wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla like a burrito) and Chopurritos (warm cilantro lime rice, black or white beans, 6 toppings, and lettuce). Whenever I want a salad for a meal I always go to chop stop. Their salads are fresh, delicious, and most of all filling. You can customize any of the salads, and add or take out any of the ingredients. My personal favorite is the vegan chopperito. This is so filling, you will forget that it does not come with any meat. This was a good little find on our way to San Diego. We wanted something quick and not too heavy and this was the perfect blend. Salads and rice bowls. Choose your base, your proteins, and your toppings. A lot of how much you like your dish will be on if you build a bad combo on your own, or if you nail it. If you're concerned they have pre-configured options that will make picking and customizing a no-brainer. I went with a rice bowl with bbq chicken and corn and some beans and a few other items. I feel like it was a great amount of variety and the mixture was well made. They do it back in the kitchen so I didn't get to see anyone mix it all up for me, but that's okay. I was greeted by a nice girl who offered to explain the process since it was my first time, but the menu is set up in such an easy and well-explained fashion she didn't need to. The bathroom was super super clean, me and my girlfriend both remarked on how spotless it was. The place was pretty dead when we were there, and a bit chilly, but we sat and ate inside anyway. It was my first time here and I've actually seen chop stops out in LA and didn't know they had just opened up a location in Rancho. I was in the mood for a salad so I thought I would finally give it a try. Walking in I was greeted promptly and the menu is huge. They have salads that are already pre-made or you can custom make your own. For the custom salads they start from $7.99 and it includes 6 toppings. I decided to order the Greek salad for my sister and myself and I got my mom the chef salad and I ordered a salted pretzel stick. Everything came up to be $30 so the prices arnt bad at all. My order was reading in less than 10 mins and I like that they had me check it before I left. The pretzel stick was delicious it was baked perfectly and was so fluffy on the inside. My salad was good I do wish there were more olives (I'll have to remember to tell them to add extra next time). My only complaint would be in my moms chef salad there were tons of cracked egg shells. I really enjoyed this place when it first opened. A little expensive, but surprisingly good. My last two visits have made me think twice. Last time, my Choppurrito Classic had extremely dry, stale-tasting rice in it. I chalked it up to an off night. Tonight I got a chopped cobb salad, and the huge pieces of avocado in there were rock hard and completely inedible. Doesn't anyone check the ingredients in store before serving them? I know there's an avocado shortage, etc., But I'd rather have them leave them out instead of putting them in there blindly and ruining my almost $12 salad. My boyfriend had purchased salads and a pretzel a couple of days ago, so I went there last night to grab some pretzels because I really liked their pretzels. I made order, and as I waiting the girl that helped me grabbed a rag and some spray and started cleaning the foot area at the bottom of the tables. When my pretzels were ready I expected her to wash her hands and get them ready for me. She passed the sink, and grabbed gloves to serve my pretzels. I had to stop her and request that she wash her hands, she put the gloves she grabbed on the counter . As she washed her hands she asked a coworker to serve me the pretzels. That coworker then grabbed the same gloves that the other girl picked up with dirty hands attempting to help. I had to let her know that she needed to grab a new pair of gloves because her coworker had dirty hands when she initially grabbed them after cleaning a dirty area. She complied and got new gloves. Honestly, anyone that works in the food industry should know that you need to wash your hands before serving/touching food that someone is going to consume. I really hop management sees this review so they will implement hand washing with their employees. It's disgusting to just grab gloves after cleaning who knows what off of the bottom of tables. There's too many germs that can make someone sick or cause food poisoning. This happened at the Upland location. read more

I don't know the name of the salad and she had them add avocado. My 1st impression was, what is this? I couldn't even identify that it was a salad. Clearly I understand chopped but when you chop to the point of looking masticated, that's a problem. This kind of chopping that removes the element of recognizing what is served before you is a spoiler. I felt a little pressure deciding my build my own salad so I decided to get a Greek salad. Chop Stop in Rancho! Great dining option in the area, I really love their salads! Not a huge fan of their wraps, they really lack flavor and the value is just not there.
