The fish filets are fried to perfection, full of salt/pepper flavor, and pairs well with the jalapeños. If you don't like fish, you can get the same flavor with the pork version of this dish, which I also really like. The service can be a little slow because it's just 1 chef and 1 waitress who own the restaurant - same people that have run the show since I first came here probably almost 30 years ago! If the wire came from a cleaning brush, why wasn't the wok rinsed properly? And if it somehow ended up inside the fried rice, what exactly is going on in the kitchen? How many people have eaten these wires without noticing over the years? Food safety is not something to be brushed off with excuses. This was our last visit here. If you care about cleanliness and proper kitchen standards, I would proceed with caution.
