I ordered combination plates through BeyondMenu last night, and according to their menu, they were supposed to come with cheese wontons. I noticed I didn't have them when I got home, so I reported it in the app. A rep from the app called and said the restaurant told them that they no longer serve the cheese wontons with the combination plates. I told them it is still advertised on BeyondMenu. The rep called the restaurant again to let them know, then called me back to say "sorry." That was it - no partial refund, no offer for me to go pick up the wontons, no future incentive... Nothing but a "sorry." So, they can keep their sorry wontons and their sorry, overcooked orange chicken and sorry, rubbery General Tso's chicken because I won't be back.

*I found a SPIDER crawling in my FOOD‼ I ordered chicken chow fun ... and this Was one of the WORST Customer Service experiences I have ever faced. I had to drive back to get my replacement, not only was it not ready when I gave them apple time because I didn't want to wait, I was also given a lot of attitude, and not one apology. I Should have not gotten my replacement, but it should have been refunded. ---DO NOT go to Chopstix on Silverado Ranch. !! I will be writing corporate.

    40. Beef Chow Fun. Tasteless. Just grease.

I think this is the worst Chinese food I have eaten, which says a lot. It is completely tasteless. No garlic. No spice. No herbs. No soy. No nothing. Grease and noodles or grease and rice. It was quick to pick up, but I'll never go back.

Unfortunately I found this restaurant on Yelp earlier today, the reviews seemed ok , so we placed an order , it only took ten minutes, which I thought was very strange. we ordered, sweet & sour chicken , House special lo mein and barbecue ribs, we tried the ribs and they were ver greasy & tough . we are not looking forward to eat the rest of the food tonight !! we called but we couldn't get a refund BUT WE WILL NEVER RETURN. A TOTAL WASTE OF $40

    Taste so bad

3.5 stars. I agree with most reviews; this place is right in the middle. Taylor and I haven't had much luck finding a local, go-to spot for Chinese carry out since moving, but I feel confident Chopstix will be the first one we return to and give them another shot. They have a huge family style menu as well as lunch and dinner combination specials- choice of entree, rice, and spring roll. We tried the orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp, and wonton soup. Quality and flavors were all very good; the execution on some things wasn't. The batter on the shrimp was very dense and overwhelmed the tender shrimp. The fried rice was nearly perfect, except for the gigantic, almost raw onions. It was also unusual to not receive any sort of dipping sauce for the spring rolls. However, the soup was great and Taylor enjoyed the orange chicken- spicier and more developed flavor than most orange chicken. Service was super quick too. I placed my order in person, and was walking out in less than 10 minutes. Overall, we will be back, and I hope I can round up to 4 stars with some different selections.

The dining area is long and narrow with vaulted ceilings, very high end Chinese decor mixed with a modern contemporary vibe in the lighting and the furnishings. You turn down the lights and it's definitely a date night type of place. The service was phenomenal from beginning to end. Alex took care of us from walking in all the way to dessert He was witty, funny and took the extra time to explain the intricacies of the dishes we inquired about. The experience was phenomenal lead by him and backed up by the kitchen and the rest of the team. He talked us into the duck special which came with duck soup, salt-n-pepper duck and whole duck carved at the table by Alex. Duck Soup - Delicious and savory broth. The cuts were tender and delicious. The best I've had in a long time. Salt N Pepper Duck - A crispy duck dish I've never had before. Good times. Guo Bao Pork - Creative, delicious and I understand why this is a feature dish. Green Beans - Perfect veggie pairing for all this food. The portions were so generous and I had 3 containers of food to take home for dinner. I appreciated the birthday dessert at lunch to finish off the experience. Well, that was a fantastic first visit. It definitely won't be the last as I see a dinner visit in the near future. Cheers!

Our favorite dishes were the Sizzling Beef in Black Pepper Sauce, Braised Sea Bass Clay Pot, Chili Fish Soup, and Green Beans. The duck was decent, but a but gamier and less oily and juicy than most of us were used to. We had higher expectations for the Sliced Beef and Ox Tongue in chili sauce. This is a cold appetizer which was fine, but did not have the depth of spice or aromatics that we were hoping for. Unfortunately the crispy beef wasn't great in our opinion and reminded me personally of the meat quality at Panda Express. Maybe this dish was meant to cater more to the Western palate. Service was relatively quick, including our duck being sliced up. The interior is elaborately decorated which surprised me as the building appears to be quite simple from the outside. I would consider visiting again next time I'm in the Vegas area.

It is located in the Trop Plaza on Tropicana Ave and Decatur Blvd. Plenty of parking. Spacious inside with lots of seating. Klaws and other games were near the entrance which I find interesting especially in a Chinese restaurant. We were greeted and seated right away. They weren't super busy on a Monday late morning. Our server was pleasant and amicable. He attended to us frequently throughout our dining. Other lady servers brought us our food timely. Thank you All! Menu offers quite a variety... reg dim sum, delicious dim sum, chef specialties, house specialties, super dim sum, vegan no-meat dim sum, congee, noodles, rice dishes, appetizers, entrees, lunch specials, and more. Prices of the dim sum vary from $5.98 and up. We chose a handful of dim sum and one Shrimp & Pork Wonton Egg Noodles. Overall, dim sum was decent. A few of them could have been better in preparation, flavor, and taste. Wonton noodles were tasty. *Bean Sauce Chicken Feet - skin was on the tougher side, could have been more tender, sauce was too thick, flavor was okay *Crispy Taro Pancake - top layer was crispy, but taro fell apart when picked up by chopsticks *Egg Tarts - light and flaky crust with soft, smooth & jiggly egg custard filling, amazingly good, definitely would get again, wished it came with 3 instead of 2, they are bigger than normal egg tarts, but still *Fried Pork Ball - just okay, nothing special *Golden Sand Lava - huge baked bun with lots of oozing sandy egg yolk, must get! *Shrimp Dumpling - full of shrimps in thin skin, tasty filling, good size, worth the price! *Shrimp & Pork Chives Dumpling - more chives than shrimp and pork, flavor was mediocre *Shrimp & Pork Shumai - surprisingly flavorful, but wished there was more shrimp than pork Glad we got a chance to try this place. I would return to try their other dim sum and lunch specials in future LV visits. Worth stopping by if you haven'ty already.

I have taken friends, clients, and colleagues, and the response has been uniformly positive. The menu has changed over time, but the dim sum classics are all there, often with a nouveau twist. What really got me was coming for dinner with a large group, where we could really savor the seafood, noodle, and meat dishes. I'm not going to run down the list because everything I've tried has been excellent, and I've tried most of the menu. We always enjoy decapitating the crispy mochi ducklings, filled of course with minced pork. The wagyu steak and wagyu fried rice, the xiao long bao with vinegar caviar, and salt and pepper tofu are all winners. The interiors are beautiful and give a different feel wherever you sit. We had what I think was a decent amount for 5 people and paid over $200 without any of the more expensive menu items, only dumplings. For the price and what we got, I don't think it was worth the price tag. Alright, the foods. Pork soup dumplings, rainbow shrimp dumpling, pork shrimp shu mai, chicken shu mai, bbq pork bao buns, pork belly bao buns, the ducklings, crunch dragon wings, chicken satay, and the eel crispy rice. Everything was good, but the best of the bunch were the pork soup dumplings and the eel crispy rice. The pork soup dumplings came with a black vinegar "caviar" that complimented the flavors in the soup portion. The crispy eel rice had a great char on the eel and the rice was crispy without being overly crunchy. According to kid 3, the notable mention was the crunch dragon wings that had the "perfect spice and really crunchy skin." Oh, and kid 1 was not a fan of the ducklings, she realized that she's not a fan of 5-spice which these had an overpowering flavor of. Overall, great experience but for the price we paid vs what we got was not worth it. The lychee martini! That was sensational, if you're 21 and enjoy a sweeter cocktail, this one is for you! Service was top notch, the ladies and gentlemen know what they are doing there.
