Still my favorite pizza spot! Food is amazing as always! Dough is hand tossed and always fresh

We actually visited Christopher's after leaving a nearby pizza place (where we were never waited on because of lousy service). We're so glad we ended up here instead! The food was excellent! The Parmesan garlic bread rolls are AMAZING and addictive. The salads were very fresh and generous portions. The pizza was great as well with generous toppings. Other members of our party got Stromboli and also enjoyed it. We went kind of late-about an hour before closing and still got excellent food and service! We will definitely be back! read more

Oh wow!! This is some of the best pizza I've had! We got a Brooklyn, Empire State, and buffalo chicken on hand tossed crust. They were all delicious! My personal favorite was the Brooklyn but I ate all 3! The woman on the phone was so kind and our pizza was ready in only 20 minutes. Someone in our group also got a gluten free pizza and said it was one of the best she's ever had. Next time we're in Sunset beach, we will be ordering pizza from Christopher's! read more

Fast friendly service. Went here with two small children and four adults. We were seated and served very quickly. We ordered a the garden salad to share, but I wasn't impressed; at all. The salad consisted of dark green lettuce, a small amount of cheese, two pieces of tomato, and couple pieces of onion. Worst of all, it wasn't fresh. I can forgive a lackluster salad if at least the lettuce is fresh. The garlic bread was...just okay. If they had left it in the oven for just a couple of minuted more, it would've been better. I prefer it to be a little brown and crispy on top. Pizza, however, very good. No complaints there. Will definitely go back next time we're in the neighborhood. read more

Their pizza was good even though expensive. But a 16" pizza at $15.50 plus a topping at $0.50 rings up as $21.00! Their explanations: "that's what the computer says." "Oh, sausage is a premium topping at $3.25." Funny the menu says $0.50. OK I will give them a chance to explain. But when I questioned the pricing, she was downright rude, somehow making it my fault that the menu right on the counter does not match computer. I thought DiGiorno's was expensive at $6.99 but I will gladly buy 3 of them and never visit Christophers again. read more

Good pizza. My wife and 2 kids compared it to Tony's in Calabash, and we all liked Christopher's better. UPDATE MAY 2008: Compared a pepperoni pizza from Bella's in Calabash to Christopher's. Bella's won on the crust, but the pick for best overall pizza between the two was Christopher's. UPDATE: Got a white pizza yesterday, and it was gooooood! read more

Yesterday, 7/14/19, we ordered & had delivered a delicious margarita pizza, small cheese pizza & a salad for the first time from Christopher's Pizza! It was excellent! We are at least 15 minutes from them but they delivered the order hot & on time! We were impressed! Definitely making them a place to go for pizza. 7/10/20..Almost a year later & we're still impressed with Christopher's Pizza & on time hot delivery! Their meatballs, lasagne & assorted pizzas are just as god as back north. We ordering from here still. read more

Highly recommend pepperoni rolls! Pepperoni, cheese, crust...AMAZiNG!!! Seriously the parmesan and Asiago make these. They are cooked perfectly, soft yet crunchy and definitely NOT dry. We also had the 12" pizza with sausage and onions. The regular crust was light, crispy, yummy and NOT dry or doughy. The sausage was crumbled which I absolutely loved. I'm from CA, moved here a few years ago and had a difficult time finding good pizza like the Bay Area. Christopher's pizza is the best in the Sunset, Calabash Area. We will always get our pizza there. So good. read more

We are visiting from out of town and we wanted pizza to celebrate my grandma's birthday. We ordered a few different pizzas including pineapple, pepperoni and mushroom, cheese and a supreme pizza. The amount of toppings was good. I would definitely come here again! read more

3.5 stars! I have to admit I was impressed by the pizza. My expectations were low. The pizza was good. The crust was dry and hard but the sauce was good and so were the toppings. We ordered take out and they said 15 minutes. We walked in and got our pizza. The prices in my opinion were a little pricey but not bad. I would stay away from the Jersey Shore salad. It is basically a spinach salad but they add canned pineapples. No idea why they thought that was a good idea. The Greek salad was good but you can get that almost anywhere. If you are in the mood for pizza it should do the trick. I have had a lot better up north that's why I didn't give it a higher rating. read more

We love their Antipasto Salad. Lots of meat!! One salad is large enough for two. We have also had their pizza and have been very please with it. They also have delivery which is nice. We will definitely continue to order from Christopher's. They do not have outside seating. read more

OMG! Some of, if not the best pizza in the area. I'm from Boston and I'm used to thin crust "Bar" pizza. The Central park pizza (Spinach, garlic, chicken) was some of the best i've had. Got the garlic bread with marinara. Some of the best sauce (gravy) i've had in the carolinas so far. Subs were great too! The Little River was awesome (chicken, spinach, mushrooms, grilled onions). The Mamma Mia (Turkey, LTO and Bacon) was great as well. So many things on the menu to try. Have ordered twice on this vacation so far. Delivery was super fast, especially for a Friday night. Just left from here the staff was absolutely unfriendly. Nobody welcomed us at all when we came in the door didn't even start with a hello welcome to Christopher's! We still placed our order just thinking maybe there busy but still this is no excuse. They stated the pizza would take 20mins so we walked to food lion to get something to drink.When we came back we knew our order should be ready and it wassss! They gave our order away and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Instead they just said we're making a new one and didn't even say how long it was. The old lady had an attitude and was abolutely rude she should've taken her frustration out on the gentleman that's gave our order away. So by this time I was completely just irritated how we were treated and the situation was handled. So I walked up to the desk and was ignored I had to get the older lady's attention. She didn't even acknowledge that I was standing there and clearly needed something and she walked past the desk constantly so I know she knew I was there. So based on her attitude I just canceled our order and she got mad with me for canceling and replied " Whyyy I mean yall have been waiting this whole time" my point exactly.... I couldn't believe how she acted just totally rude and unprofessional. This is my first review I've ever written and I never bash a business but clearly they have no good customer service skills. read more

Pizza was nothing special, in fact, rather bland. I give it three stars because the staff is just great. Very helpful and informative, most importantly, just plain nice. More then willing to give it another shot next time I'm in town, all because of the staff. read more

For a person who was so spoiled with Chicago pizza, I'm so impressed with Christopher's pizza! Our family moved from Chicago to Raleigh last year and we still have not found a good pizza place. In looking for places to get delivery on sunset beach this place came up so we gave it a shot, they delivered quite fast and we got the pizza and wings. For the size of the pizzas I thought they were a great deal and were pretty good, would definitely order them again with the extra cheese coming with alot cheese. The wings however were baked and even though they were hot they had nothing to stick to and the sauce was basically just oil. I wouldn't get those again. read more

I've ordered pizza delivery several times without a problem and the pizza is good. But today ordered delivery and it took an hour. This wouldn't be a problem if the kitchen was backed up but I'm pretty sure the pizza was in the delivery person's car for a while. The pizza was barely warm and soggy. read more

We ordered pizza about 8:15 I asked if they were taking orders since they closed at 9pm. She said yea and asked if it was delivery or pick up, we said pick up since we were coming in from Columbus County we got 2 pizza's one large and one medium. I got a medium half cheese half Hawaiian for me and the kids to share. My husband got a large with extra cheese ham, mushrooms, and pineapple both pizza's were rubbery, they weren't very hot and mine had to much sauce and my husband's barely had any. You could tell the pineapple was out of a can and probably from the day before as they had no real taste. The price to pizza did NOT match we spent 43$ for 2 pizzas that weren't even special pizzas. I don't recommend this place there are to many places that sell good pizzas for way less. read more

First, two minor negatives regarding the pizza. The toppings were not evenly distributed, small bunches of toppings like the olives and mushrooms piled in certain spots and other areas with none at all, once we spread them out ourselves, there was a decent amount of toppings. Next, the pieces were cut very roughly and uneven, one slice might be 3" at the crust and the next slice is 6" wide, makes it hard for everyone to get their fair share. Now, the good news: very clean restaurant and friendly staff, the crust was really good, the sauce was very flavorful and obviously not right out of an industrial can. Excellent pizza, we will definitely drive to our neighboring Carolina just for this pizza ! read more

If you're a native eastern North Carolina like me , don't order deliver from these people. They think this is New Jersey. If they want to do business New Jersey style, then they should stay in New Jersey. Waited close to two hours for cold food to be delivered. If possible to be minus stars this would be a minus 50. read more

The pizza and sauce are great. Their garlic butter is slightly addictive. I would definitely suggest checking them out. It can add up if you are ordering for a group but I would say it is worth every penny. The fresh basil and tomato was my favorite pizza! Very yummy and great quality. read more

Seat yourself for some great greasy pizza!!! This is a no-frills establishment. Small bar, plenty of tables, a few tvs and some minimal art on the walls. You do not visit this place for the ambiance, you visit it for the food and the food does not disappoint. Sometimes I want a greasy, messy, flavorful pizza. Christopher's delivers in a big way. Not only was the pizza good, with a little burnt crust and good toppings, but the steak sandwich, calzone and sausage sandwich were very good as well. lWe talked with some locals who were originally from New York and they said when they are craving pizza they go to Christophers. read more

We are coming from Jersey and staying here for a family vacation. Jennifer, our waitress/hostess is an absolute doll. Super sweet, super attentive and the hospitality was A1! Aside from the great service, food was amazing. I had shrimp scampi, husband had another pasta dish, I believe it was something like Pasta, with a person's name attached. Children had pizza,l and of course I took a bite or two lol; delish! Will be making quite a few stops here before we head back home. Thanks guys!! read more

Our favorites are their regular pizza and Greek salad. Have eaten inside also use delivery. Must say either way we are always satisfied.

I have only had a few pizzas from around here. Christopher's is very good compared to what's available in the area. If you are used to a pizza cooked in a 900 deg. wood fire oven (then you're probably from a city because you won't find that around here), then you might be a little disappointed in the crust. The menu says the "Rockefeller" has local shrimp and it actually does. I buy a lot of shrimp from the dock here in Calabash. The shrimp on this pizza a definitely local- very good! read more

I went into the restaurant on Thursday, May 6th at 6:27. No one spoke to us as we stood waiting. The cashier was helping a gentleman check out. When he left she looked at the next man that came in after us like she was going to help him before us. I spoke up and said that we were waiting on a table. The cashier gave me the most disgusted look and pointed her thumb over to where we were to go sit. So rude!!! I may have to take attitude at work or even home, but I will be damned if I am going to take it from a cashier at Christopher's for mediocre food!!!! We walked out and I will never go back. Where is the friendliness? Where is the customer service? I refuse to give my business there when there are plenty of other places to eat in the area. So sad! read more

The amount of sauce and toppings were fine. The order was for a 16" pizza and the price was $23. While the pie was OK, the price/value relationship was not up to par. This pie should cost about $14 but since it is a local place , I will order from there but not often. The onions were raw and I asked if they were cooked, she said they would be cooked in the oven on top of the pie. They were not cooked enought. Not a big deal. The spices in the sauce could be improved, try adding a touch more basil and oregano, that should help. This thin crust would not make it in Jersey or NYC where I am from, but having it delivered was a benefit. Finally, the raw dough used for the crust should have more rest time to open up the cell structure of the dough. Finally, I agree with other reviewers, CUT BACK ON THE AMOUNT OF SALT, WAYYYYY TOO MUCH SALT IN THE RECIPE. Order was delivered on time, hence the above drove me to three stars. Could be a 4 star with some changes, especially getting the pie price down to a more reasonable figure. read more

Called for delivery, they were super busy but still got it to my house in the time they quoted so that's all good. The food wasn't what I was expecting (but still was good), I called the store, and the manager handled the situation efficiently and concisely.
