I have only tried this place via takeout during the pandemic. I did find it a little pricey, which I think makes sense given it's location/the view. Avgelomono Soup $4.95 (cup): The lemon flavor was present, but not overbearing. I enjoyed it! Pita with Skordalia $9.95: Personally, I would have preferred a stronger garlic flavor. We have been laying on the garlic in our at home cooking so that may explain my bias. They are very generous with the amount of pita. Half Greek Salad $8.95 + Gyro Meat $4.50 + Extra Dressing $0.50: I asked for extra dressing because running out of dressing/sauce is one of my top fears in life. Turns out, the amount of dressing they give us enough. The dressing was tangy, and gyro meat was moist. This would make a good lunch salad! Souvlaki Lamb $22.95 + Extra Tzatziki Sauce $1.50: Two skewers of lamb, and we chose Greek fries for our side. Extra tzatziki sauce due to fear as described above. Again, their default serving of tzatziki may have been enough, but it's nice having extra for the fries and all that pita! The fries weren't as crispy as I'd like, but it might've gotten soggy on the way home. The lamb wasn't memorable, and I felt the meat portion was a bit small for the price. ***** My Star Ratings: 1 Star - Terrible. Just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars - Meh. We stopped in a few nights ago for dinner, service was great and the food was so tasty! The Chicken Pesto Special pizza was so yummy and I'd definitely definitely order it again. Enjoyed brunch here! Arrived around lunchtime and sat on the upper patio to enjoy some sun. Make sure you have some sunglasses because the sun on the white paper menus is really bright! I ordered the veggie Eggs Benedict which had great flavor and was appropriately portioned. Some places drown the Benedict in Hollandaise like they're trying to hide something but not Christo's which I enjoyed a lot - thank you! Good for groups and tourists and all folks really. It has views and food comes out pretty quick. Servers were running like a team inside and up to the patio. It's a lot of space to cover and they ran food and service with a smile. Everything is amazing. 1) The food. Best Caesar salad. We split a half and it was huge enough for us to both have healthy side servings. I hate when these are too tart. This was pleasantly vibrant but not too sour. Very very good. We had the pizza, the Petro's Special. We subbed jalapeños for mushrooms. So delicious and not too hot. The crust was incredible. The very end was so crunchy like a cracker on the outside but still soft on the inside. The sauce was incredible. So savory. Not too sweet at all, like some. We ordered Mai Tai's to drink and they were so good. Not too sweet. Super well balanced. Everything was perfect. 2) Ambiance. The place is cute. Casual. From my seat I could see a half dozen TV's so perfect for football season but the volume wasn't up so it wasn't distracting unless you let it be. The bar top was having great conversation with the waiter so they clearly knew him. Super friendly. Our waiter was Petros, one of the founder sons. He was so nice to us and everyone around in there tonight. Great view of the water too on Alki. 3) Community. The family has owned this place since 1996. The matriarch and patriarch were wandering the tables while their kids worked the place. It was so heartwarming watching them all interact with each other and the community of folks who came in. They clearly know and love everyone who walks in the door. There were two tables of "kids" while we were in there. Both they treated with the utmost respect and warmth. The high schoolers had clearly been there before. The second group was a table of three ~eight year olds who came in by themselves. The whole place watched in astonishment at their manners. After talking with Petros he never planned on making them pay. Just wanted to give them the exercise of the experience. A guest at the bar was so impressed with them she slipped them some cash on the way out to make sure the restaurant got paid - she clearly knew what Petros was up to :) They paid like champions and had the whole restaurant's admiration. Watching how the owners and family interacted with their guests was so heartwarming. All while providing some of the most delicious food we've had in ages makes this one of my most treasured spots. I'm so sad I've lived here this long before supporting this restaurant. They deserve so much more notoriety than they get. read more

Very family friendly type restaurant. You walk in and can see the owner greeting patrons by name. Very warm environment. We had breakfast on a Sunday. We got sat right away and ordered our usual when trying a new place biscuits and gravy and EggsBenedict. My wife took one bite of her biscuits and gravy and stopped. Not pleased with the eggs or the biscuits she only finished her hash browns. She said the eggs tasted like cleaner and she couldn't really say what wasn't appealing about the B&G (biscuits and gravy) but she couldn't take another bite. My Benedict was mediocre. The ham was delicious but kinda tasted like day old reheated ham. The Hollandaise sauce was very thick. Almost gravy like Didn't taste horrible but wasn't really tasty. The prices were on the high end but then again that's the cost for eating on Alki. Probably won't come back. Bummer. read more

I can't say I've been especially impressed by anything I've eaten here, and the pizza is notably mediocre (and absurdly overpriced). It's fine, it's a good place to hang out, and it's not impossible to get a table on a nice day... but the prices they charge don't make much sense. I'd rather go somewhere nicer for an $18 burger. So interesting story from I'd say 5 times either dinning in or take out. We usually get to start a Greek sampler platter that is really good and a side salad that is, well a side salad, and then usually order one of their fancy pizzas that I've always liked but not love. Fast forward to my last order: Simple well done pepperoni and cheese pizza --- this pizza blew my balls off!!! it was the best I've had from there and from the majority of pizza places in Seattle. Idk what MAGIC happened on that last pizza but that was a solid 8.5 for me when typical their specialty pizzas around around a 7.6 for me. read more

Their menu has the perfect combo of Greek and American choices to please the masses.. plus that Alki Beach view! But back to the food??... PIZZA: BOMB!! SOOO GOOD. Thick & crispy crust, best Italian sausage I've ever had.. Small is big enough to share for 2. SUBS: BOMB! MARGARITAS: BOMB! ($5 cocktails on happy hour 3-6 daily!) FRIES: You get the picture... The only thing I think they could improve on is the interior decorating. It's a little dark and old-fashioned for beachside -- more windows and a lighter color scheme would help. I have been to Christo's twice and both times it has been great! Their rooftop in the summer is perfect for views and people watching, and the cinnamon rolls are deeee-lish! This last time we went it was my birthday and I had an irish coffee and eggs benedict (cinnamon roll on the side) and it did not disappoint. My friends and I came here for lunch earlier today after we spent some time at the beach. We were craving something light and this place looked promising with the good reviews we saw online. This was probably one of the worst service I've gotten in Seattle since I can't even remember. We got there around 12pm and surprisingly it didn't seem that busy, only half the restaurant was full. When we sat down it already seemed a bit off as we received breakfast menus instead of lunch and we had to try to go look for the lunch menus ourselves because the waitress said she couldn't find any of the lunch menus (odd). They shouldn't have given us the breakfast menus to begin with. We waited a bit for them to come back to take our orders after she finally found us some lunch menus. When we finally ordered, it was basically a waiting game to see when our food will actually arrive. We ordered two half salads (a Greek one and a grilled chicken Cesar) and a burger with a salad instead of fries. We literally waited over 45 minutes for our food to come out. For two half salads and a burger?! No one came by for the longest time to tell us what was taking so long or to even refill our water. We had to wave someone down to ask for water and when we would get our food. The person we waved down just said the kitchen was backed up but we should get our food "soon". After 30 minutes our waitress finally comes by to apologize for the wait and that it shouldn't be much longer. When our food finally came out 45-50 minutes later, my salad was over sauced and the grilled chicken was cold and dry. My friend who ordered the burger with the salad asked for vinaigrette dressing but she got a completely different sauce instead (it was a white sauce I'm assuming it was ranch or cesar). We were so hungry at that point so there was so way we were going to send it back just to wait another 45 minutes. Near the end of our meal we heard yelling in the back. Not sure if it was the owner or manager yelling (hopefully at whoever was responsible for that food taking so long to come out) but regardless it's unprofessional and should be done behind closed doors and not for customers to see and hear. When I went to wait and use the bathroom I saw a lot of the wait staff just hanging out by the cashier and food that was ready to be served just sitting there. They were also reading a loud bad reviews they saw on yelp and one of the waitresses actually commented "Aren't you suppose to ask for water if you want more?" Um no, you're suppose to go around refilling water before the customers ask you to. That is part of your job description as a waitress. Clearly this place needs to re-train all their staff to learn how to wait on tables and just do their job in general. No one should have to flag people down to refill their water cups especially on a 90 degree day like today. I would not recommend this place at all, unless you feel like waiting 45 minutes for a salad and have terrible service. read more

One thing going for this place is the location. Right across the street from the most active stretch of Alkai Beech in West Seattle. On the sunny summer afternoons in Seattle, yes we do get sun in the summer...there might not be a better place to just hang out. A few seats along the sidewalk and others just inside rolled up garage doors it can be pretty entertaining watching the show that is the cruisers in their cars or on crotch rockets or the sexy folk strolling along the sidewalk. Parking, like anywhere along Alkai is a bitch so grab any spot you find and enjoy the walk to any number of the local establishments. This is our favorite place to chill and as I said earlier the people watching can't be beat. read more

***Updating my review to three stars as management has contacted me regarding this experience (thank you Christo's team)*** I brought my brother who was visiting from out of town and a friend here for dinner. We chose Christo's because it is located on beautiful Alki beach and we wanted Mediterranean/Italian on the beach. The restaurant was not very busy (especially for a Sunday night and we were seated right away). The meal started out fine. We placed our orders and the server was easy to work with. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. It took 45 minutes for the salads. Another 45 minutes for the entrees which were chicken parm, tortellini, and gluten free pizza. We asked the server what was driving the delay and he said the kitchen was backed up (the restaurant did not appear to be busy). We kindly asked the server to comp three glasses of wine. He apologized for the wait and said he would ask his manager. He came back a few minutes later and told us the wine would not be compd. After waiting 90 minutes for a pretty routine meal I was very frustrated. Next came the food. The chicken parm and tortellini looked okay but the gluten free pizza was very burnt (see picture). Christo's on Alki Do not go to this restaurant! My friend Eleni Beyene and I just left there and I have never felt more unwelcome. Food was good until I realized how I was being stared down by the owners father while he talked to other customers in the restaurant. Then stood at a table next to ours with a couple talk to them and stared at my friend and I but when we would look at him turn away rolling his eyes. You could tell the staff wasn't surprised by his actions but became concerned because our waitress came by to evaluate the situation but since nothing transpired she walked away. Something funny is all you hear is RNB AND HIPHOP Playing in there. I observed the staff looking over in concern. The Father was leaving and I made a point to "say goodbye sir food was great" as he purposely dismissed me. We informed our waitress and even though she was very apologetic I could tell this isn't the first time! Which it wasn't y'all read Yelp! Very very sad! Our bill was discounted but I didn't want that and I voiced that also!
