Their lunch special hits every time! Unlimited meats, unlimited seafood, unlimited veggies, unlimited sauce, unlimited soup, what's there not to love? There's only one worker during slow hours, but she is still attentive, coming by to check if we need more meats, soup, etc. Today was my first day getting the included ice cream. I had the ube and cookies and cream and they were delicious! We love this place!

First of all -- plenty of parking around, so no circling like a hungry shark before dinner. That's already a win in my book. When you walk in, it's super open and spacious, and honestly for an all-you-can-eat spot, the pricing is SO good. The best part? It's usually never packed and we never wait. Immediate seating + unlimited food? Say less. We came tonight to celebrate my dad's birthday and got seated right away. The service was TOP-NOTCH. Every five minutes (not exaggerating), the servers were checking in asking if we wanted to order more meat. I felt seen. I felt supported. I felt encouraged to eat more. And the best part? They refilled our tom yum & tomato soup, with the exact same soil base! Usually other hotpot spots would refill their normal bone broth, but they literally filled tom yum & tomato, which was amazing There are PLENTY of tables and so many protein options: Vegetarians? Covered -- all kinds of tofu. Seafood lovers? Shrimp, fish, mussels, clams. Meat lovers? You already know. Noodle section + veggie bar (which we bravely avoided to save room for meat). Unlimited rice. And the sauce station? Elite. Hubby and I are very saucy people, and the make-your-own sauce bar is dangerous in the best way. So many ingredients to mix and match -- it's basically a personality test in condiment form. As of February 2026 pricing: * $30.99 cash * $32.23 with card (3% surcharge) * Kids under 40 inches = FREE * 40-50 inches = about $13.99 And the cherry on top? Complimentary ice cream. With refills. Yes, REFILLS. Flavors included vanilla, strawberry, ube, cookies & cream, and rainbow sherbet. We absolutely went back for seconds because we have no self-control. This is definitely our go-to spot for all-you-can-eat hot pot. Great service, great pricing, tons of options, and free ice cream? We're loyal. Happy eats!!

The food was great. The inside also looked great and everyone was super nice and friendly. Excellent customer service and great vibe. I would 100% go back.

We have visited this restaurant with the ownership change and wow what a difference!! Meat selection was very fresh and the self serve veggies and sauces were fresh as well and everything was clean! Our server I think his name was Rafael was very professional and was attentive to us the entire time. Highly recommended! I'm glad we gave this place another chance with the new change. Both of our broths were very flavorful the spicy Japanese miso and the sichuan broth was delicious! Very flavorful! I would only say the AC didn't keep up and we were pretty hot but it was 100 degrees outside so I would imagine the AC just wasn't keeping up. But if it was cooler in there it would have perfect. Either way we would return!!

I visited Chuan pot for the first time this past weekend, on a Saturday to be exact. When I went there were a few people in there celebrating a birthday but other than that it was pretty empty. The place is very inviting, a decent size with plenty of tables. For drinks I had their Strawberry Matcha and it was pretty good. They have all you can eat hot pot with a few broth options, meats, appetizers and ice cream. We ended up ordering clean and clear and the spicy miso. They have lunch specials Monday through Thursday.

First time here with my family. It was fairly priced. I like the selection of meat choices since we basically only eat brisket, beef round, beef chuck eye, and lamb. They do have chicken and pork as well. We enjoyed the other amenities: the sauce bar, assorted seafood, assorted vegetables, and assorted noodles. All of it was fresh and yummy! The servers were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is roomy and good for group gatherings. Parking is not an issue for it is in a plaza. We will definitely come back.

With the amount of ayce hot pots places around, it's tougher to stand out. I tried their house special broth and their "Yao Hon" Cambodian broth. Not sure if it was the sauce I made, but everything was salty. The workers are very friendly and attentive to us, but they did not check or restock the self-serve bars. The vegetables, garlic, green onions, cilantro, rice were all empty. Overall the variety for AYCE is lacking.

My family and I (group of 5) had a Sunday lunch at this restaurant. We arrived right at opening so we were seated right away and only half of the restaurant was occupied. Our order was taken right away and given right away too. We ordered mushroom and spicy miso broth. I felt the spicy miso had great flavor, but wished it was spicier. I wish I could have tasted more umami/mushroom flavor in the mushroom broth. There's a cold bar where you can get various seafood and vegetable items. There's a lot of options for both. Good quality for the vegetables and seafood. Same can be said for the meat. Everything is all-you-can-eat for a reasonable price ($25 for lunch and $30 for dinner).

This place was amazing! My mother recommended this place cause it had a Cambodian Soup Base called "Yao Hon" which is a one of my favorite hot pot soup bases that is not very common. The meats and the variety's of seafood and veggies were spectacular. The customer service was wonderful as well. They came and checked on us often and made sure we had our fill of meats and we were comfortable. I will be coming back again soon and recommending this place to my friends and family.

The place is cute too i love the aesthetics of it. Deff recommend it was so good and i will deff be back one day.

I went with my boyfriend for the first time. The meat selection menu was really small, only 8 choices. There was a 90 minute time limit. The rules for how many meat platters we could order was confusing. We asked twice for clarification and we were still confused about the meat platters. I overheard other customers ask again as well, they were confused by the rules too. This restaurant is supposed to be all you can eat (AYCE) but that seems inaccurate and misleading. We ordered spicy miso and clean & clear broth. The broths were good! We didn't get individual pots, so the temperature was super inconsistent. My broth was barely boiling, while his was boiling nonstop. The veggies (mushrooms, carrots, tofu) were still too tough and chewy after boiling 40 minutes. We used forks but they only had small plastic ones. Our bowls were small and metal, so we couldn't pick it up while eating. The platters had only 4-5 slices of thin meat. The service was fair. The ambiance was okay, there was music in the background and lots of space. There were 3 big frozen self serve areas, seafood, veggies, sauces. The restaurant was empty, considering it was lunch time. There was a good variety of toppings, meat and seafood. We went for lunch special for $25/person. It was not worth the price, limited meat selection and fair service. Empty restaurants are foretelling.

Came for lunch on a weekday to avoid the crowd. This place offers good value for the price along with a large selection of hotpot items. The place is clean with plenty of dining space.

Went here for my birthday a while back since I was craving hot pot and it was SO DELICIOUS! This place is so special because they have a Cambodian broth called yao han and it was so rich in flavor. My husband is Khmer and said it tasted very close to how his mom makes it. The owners were so sweet and the service was so fast! The really took care of us. There were many options for the veggies and meat also. I was impressed with the cleanliness because some hot pot AYCE places don't put the same amount of care. We will definitely be back and will bring our family too!

Hi! Unfortunately, we do not serve Goma sauce. However, we do serve a sauce similar which is sesame sauce! The only difference is our sesame sauce isn’t too sweet as goma sauce.

I thought the food was adequate but not as good as dishes from other Chinese restaurants around the area. We got the chicken chow mein, fish fillet with sweet corn, and honey walnut shrimp. Steamed rice is available but for an additional charge. The staff made themselves easily visible and offered to take our order almost immediately. The chicken chow mein arrived lastly. We noticed this because we were finishing our two other dishes. The ambience was nice, but I noticed that our plastic tablecloth was a little tattered. The fish fillet with sweet corn came breaded. With sweet and savory flavor from the corn, it was good. It might've been better if the fish were not breaded. The flavor from the honey walnut shrimp was adequate, but I've tasted better elsewhere. My hunch infers that the shrimp quality could've been higher. The chicken chow mein's flavor was decent, but I've tasted better slurry from other Chinese restaurants. Our meal came with complimentary jasmine tea, which was quite strong and flavorful.

This is where Duck Palace really earns its name. The skin hits that ideal balance--lightly crisp with a slight lacquered sheen--while the meat underneath stays juicy and flavorful without being overly fatty. It's not trying to be trendy or reinvent anything; it's just done right. The seasoning leans traditional Cantonese--savory, slightly sweet, and aromatic without being heavy-handed. I did not try the supporting dishes, but they had a good variety outside the roast duck. This is where you can tell whether a place is a one-hit wonder or a true kitchen. They had BBQ combo plates, stir-fried dishes, and various sides. Service here is efficient, is part of the charm. You're coming for good food, done well. Best to call in to reserve a duck ahead of time because they will sell out by mid-afternoon. The space itself is clean and straightforward--more casual than upscale--but comfortable enough for both quick meals and relaxed family meals. What I appreciate most about Duck Palace is the consistency. The price is reasonable for what you are paying for and the duck combo meal is enough to feed 2-3 people. Pro tips: - Go earlier in the day if you want the freshest roast selections. - Takeout holds up surprisingly well (the duck skin still has some integrity if you don't let it sit too long). - Great option when you want authentic flavors without driving deeper into the valley. - Discount for paying in cash Bottom line: If you're in Diamond Bar and craving authentic Cantonese roast meats, Duck Palace is a reliable go-to. It may not be flashy, but it delivers where it counts--and sometimes, that's exactly what you want.
