Rice was hard. Chicken seemed like a dark meat , flavor was okay. I'm happy that they were skimpy on the serving so I did not have to waste the food. Honestly feel bad for this place. It had good business tonight...maybe too good. They only have one guy working the register and 2 guys manning the kitchen. Restaurant had at least 50 people waiting in line, but either they or the customers were screwing up left and right...causing a bigger back up. I want to try something new every week and this place is a good find. The parking can be a little tricky and 30 min spots are ok if you don't spend too much time there (we were there for almost an hour) Since this is the second day they open the scene is a little unorganized. The crew seem to be new too so there's a lot of confusion going. The good: the food. I enjoy the boiled chive dumplings the most. The pan fried pork? and beef/cheese dumplings are not bad either. The noodles with mushroom and meat sauce is worth ordering again. I didn't to get to try the pork belly noodle bc they're out of pork belly that night. The not so good: onion pancakes are just thin pancakes with some green onions on top, not the kind with lots of onions in the middle. The service is chaotic but the owner is nice to help smooth things out. He offers to refund the noodles not available and give us another dumplings order for free. We didn't get the refund after checking few days later but we understand he is overwhelmed running in different directions all the times. We were excited to try this place because it had great reviews... but then after we got there it was bad ... one thing after another . They had limited drink choices, very impersonal, they said either order off your phone or the kiosk... after spend 80$ on 5 plates of dumplings and a veggie and My bokchoy was cold and they were SUPER stingy with the sauce even though it tasted watered down, the dumplings lacked in so many ways.... Found this place via Yelp and decided to give it a try! * Parking is a bit hard to find due to sharing it with other businesses. A lot of 30 mins only spots. We ordered the XLB, pork potstickers, and minced mushroom pork rice. * The XLB skin is very good and chewy, while the meat was flavorful! Some XLBs didn't have soup and some had a lot. Overall, a very delicious dish. * The pork potstickers were also good, however, half of our potstickers were burnt and the other half was soggy. * The minced mushroom pork rice was delicious with yummy bokchoy and pickled mustard greens. Some pieces of bokchoy were saltier than others. Hoping the consistency of the food will improve once they continue to grow and learn from their soft opening :-) will come again! read more

Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! Sampled all I could with the stomachs I had to feed and everything was as my son would say, "pretty tasty!". The xlb's were good but the skin was a little thick for me. I preferred the pan fried dumplings which were also juicy. Ramen was creamy and decent for "fast food". I wish there was less need for plastic utensils and containers and if you're eating in, there should be an option to not have the food served in to-go boxes. The Angus beef stew was delicious. The beef was super juicy. The broth was gingery and perfect. The vegan dumplings were amazing. Taste like meat was inside but I guess it was mushrooms. I would definitely come back for these two things 5/5 stars for these The scallion pancakes were tasty but they were so oily. I mean I could literally squeeze them and have a hand full of oil. I've never had them so im not sure if that's how they are supposed to be, but man I've never seen so much oil in food in my life. It really ruined the whole experience. The rice was just regular old rice. It cost 4 dollars become it was " fancy " but wasn't fancy at all. It was hard like it wasn't cooked all the way or it was old. It definitely wasn't washed 5X and it definitely wasn't fluffy. These two things gets a 2/5 stars. Just tried the newest branch in Anaheim and the dumplings hit the spot on a chilly night. Ordered the original xlb (Xiao long bao), crispy pork pot stickers, steamed chive and shrimp dumplings and a scallion pancake. The crispy pork pot stickers were the best of thr three with one side nicely browned and the other two still soft. The xlb was good, but didn't have as much soup inside as others that I've had. The scallion pancake was so good, I could have ordered another one. As for sauces, the spicy chilli oil and garlic vinegar were the best. Somehow spicy mayo does not belong with dumplings and neither does sweet and sour (tastes a lot like the bottle of sweet and sour chicken sauce). Yuzu is good if you want something bright and lemony or just go old school and mix black vinegar with soy sauce adding chilli paste if you want some kick (there's ghost pepper powder available). Street parking is a little difficult to find since it's right around the corner from Disneyland, but you can park at the Hyatt hotel and get a discount for validation (from the hotel). The place is actually on Katella and not Harbor, but it is one of the few shops on the street level. If you passed Walgreens, you've gone too far. On a side note, the Michelin reviewed one is the store in Monrovia and they also have the full menu. read more

We ordered the Pan Fried Chicken Dumplings, Steamed Pork Soup Xlb, Steamed Crab Xlb, Sesame Noodles and Stewed Angus Beef Bowl. The stewed angus beef bowl could have more broccoli and beef and a little more sauce but was still enjoyable with some soy sauce added. The inside is not very spacious, I would easily bump into the person behind me trying to get up. So plan for a tight squeeze or take out. We got lucky and were able to fit our stroller right in front of the exit side of the door. No outside seating besides the pizza place next doors furniture. Your order is not premade. It is individually prepared when ordered - freshly made and hot. We ordered: 1) pan fried pork dumplings- tender morsels. Nice soup based meat flavor. Tender ground pork. These dumplings tasted better when dipped in soy sauce/vinegar/chili oil. 2) green onion pancakes-nice chewy consistency. hot and freshly made with that wonderful slightly oily texture- yes, that is normal. Would order these items again and can't wait to try their noodles and rice dishes. Food and service are quick. You order upfront and pay, and you can take it either to go or eat there. It was my first time there, so I ordered a bit: - angus beef soup noodles - soup dumplings, original - pan fried dumplings - those custard piggy baos The angus beef noodle soup was very tasty. Make sure to mix everything together really well so the flavors can mix. Add their chili oil on the side, which isn't hot but quite flavorful. The soup dumplings were delicious, well balanced, and plenty of soup and meat. I honestly wish they had a bigger spoon to hold all the soup in, as half of it spilled out. They're twice as big as din tai fungs' dumplings, with a different type of dumpling skin that is super thin and fragile. The skin did look like it is a bit absorbent, so eat them quickly, but be careful, as the dumplings can be right out of the steamer. I forgot to take a picture. The pan-fried dumplings were super, incredibly tasty, and also full of soup inside. The skin was good, and the inside meat was just super tasty. I felt that maybe someone had put a bit too much msg inside, that it made me feel very thirsty after I was finished. I wish it was a bit more crispy, as it wasn't really fried as long, which made the thin dumplings skin soggy really quick. The custard piggy baos were very good. I wanted another order but thought against it. The bread was light, and the custard was not super sweet. I could keep eating these! The downside of my experience was definitely parking. There's absolutely no parking besides the 30-minute parking lot. The hotel parking lot is constantly full. So this place is hard to park and catered towards quick to go orders and hotel guests. Another downside is that I felt that maybe there was too much msg in the dumplings? The panfriend dumplings were extremely tasty/salty? But it was more leaning towards an overdose of umami? I saw this place when I was about to leave Disneyland and I knew I had to try it because they were named to the Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand List. I order Spicy Pork Ramen with Dumplings and Pork Soup Dumplings and omg it blew my mind. The ramen broth was perfect. Not too salty or spicy but very flavorful. The pork was great and ramen texture was perfect. The dumplings in the ramen went well with the broth. The main thing that surprised me was actually the boiled egg!! If you like the famous boiled egg that you can get in the convenience store in Japan, you would absolutely love this. The egg yolk was cooked so perfectly. The soup dumplings were also amazing. The skin is not thick and they have the perfect amount of soup in there. The service was just like normal self service restaurant. You have to scan QR code to see the menu. This is a great spot for takeout! They are relatively quick with their service and the food is very delicious. I didn't get to experience the ambiance, as I was waiting in the car but according to my beau there was a small space for seating and plenty of people waiting and lots of people placing large orders. The food reminded me a lot of Din Tai Fung! The food was good and my favorite was the soup dumplings. Four stars because the vegan dumplings weren't good. We hit up this spot after a long day at Disneyland and were super impressed by the great food and fast service. First of all, the food: Some of the best dumplings we've ever had! Amazing flavor and food for a fast-casual spot. The crab & pork soup dumplings were incredible. Full of flavor and juicy! And the steamed dumplings, pan fried dumplings and noodle dishes were all so delicious. On top of that, the fast-casual setup makes service quick and friendly. Way too over priced for my taste but then again I didn't take the location into consideration since it's down the street front disney. Food prep wasn't what I was expecting. Everything given to you in disponible plastic no actual steamer for dumplings etc. You order by kiosk instead of an actual person. For a michellen star place i thought the food would be better. Bland taste for the pork soup dumpling, beef udon no flavor and very greasy tasting the only thing that actually tasted good was the scallion pancake.
