Immediately devoured. The salads looked incredible....the table next to us ordered a couple and they looked absolutely divine. Next time for sure. The adjacent market is a must-browse too. It's packed with specialty products and rare finds that you don't see everywhere, making it easy to walk out with way more than you planned. Great food, great service, and a fun market to explore. Highly recommend stopping in if you're anywhere near West Allis.

I had a great conversation with the owners and cook, Gus, and his lovely wife behind the counter. I ordered the lamb gyro plate with the french fries - and Gus said, you can get fries anywhere, try my rice! And so he served up the rice and asked me to try it right then and there. I asked for my feta on the side, and again he was insistent I try it then. The portions are gigantic - it was enough for at least 2 meals. We talked about his background in ethnic cooking. I was impressed they opened up around the time Covid-19 was raging and they've managed to stay in business despite opening up during a difficult time. The food was good, the portions are generous, making it a good value for the money, I enjoyed meeting the proprietors, and I'm looking forward to returning and trying out some of his soups and other lunch items.

You walk in and it's the cutest sandwich shop as they have old metal lunch boxes hanging throughout and such a fun menu board on the wall. Not only do they sell sandwiches they sell peanut butter and different jams with fun flavors like guava, dandelion and more! I got the Strawberry Lovers on panini and it was amazing. I can't wait to go back again. They make all their jams and peanut butter and it was so fresh. Also I have to talk about how amazing the guest service was. We came in about 20 minutes prior to close and decided to get it to go because we didn't want to be those people. However, when they gave us our sandwiches they said it was fine to eat in and really no trouble at all. We still ended up taking it to go but I feel like most establishments wouldn't offer that. A $21 omelette can be found at nicer restaurants in town.

They also have a small party room which I have attended an event in before which is always a nice touch. It's secluded and of course much quieter than their main dining area which can get pretty loud!

My order consisted of jerk egg rolls and a jerk chicken plate with rasta mac and sweet plantains for the sides. The jerk egg rolls were good, but I don't think they're my favorite in the Milwaukee area. One of them had a large piece of green pepper in it, so I assumed the other two would as well, but I didn't find it in the others. Other than the green pepper in the one egg roll they were filled with just chicken and cabbage, so not a ton of varying flavors. The rasta mac is mac and cheese with some diced peppers mixed in. The peppers added a little flavor to the mac, but were also easy to pick out for those that don't like peppers. The plantains were probably the best I've had. They were a little mushy instead of hard, which I liked, and their sweetness was apparent. The jerk chicken in the plate came with half a chicken and relied on rub instead of sauce, which worked for me since that's how I prefer jerk chicken. I do think there's room for them to go a little heavier on the rub without making it too hot for most people.

This place makes me happpyyyyyyy! The staff is so nice when I go in there, and me being a clean freak, I love to see how sparkly clean the place always is. Now to the nitty gritty, the food. I am not gonna lie, every single item that I have tried from this restaurant has been delicious. You can tell the cook really cares about the food that he is putting out and I really appreciate that. (I recognize their main cook as the cook that used to be on the east side, so I am happy that they are keeping it authentic) Then you have the menu, which has anything you could possibly crave. Seriously, take a look at the menu, after you spend an hour reading it, lol, you will have an even harder time deciding what to eat. I always recommend to my friends just trying one of their cheesesteaks and their awesome fries to start off with. They can get adventurous after they try the food that started it all. read more

Just like the location on the east side, this Chubby's did not disappoint! Try the chubbys chicken cheesesteak in a wrap, or the buffalo chicken cheesesteak is another one of my favorites! There are an over-abundance of menu options, so no matter what, everyone in your group will have something they love on there. i have seen people get annoyed at the size of the menu, but to me, it's great that they have something for everyone (even though it takes a while to decide). Though I have some trouble deciding on what to eat, I do have some favorites besides the cheesesteaks, so maybe my advice will make it a little easier to a Chubby's newbie. the wings are awesome, and the chili is to die for, plus the chicken and waffles.. my mouth is watering just thinking about it. My latest favorite is the taco tuesdays. The hard shell really makes the taco cause they fry it fresh. read more

I have been a fan of the East Side Chubby's for years, so I was super excited when I saw that there was a Chubby's opening by the stadium. If you haven't heard of this place, they have an insane menu, with anything your heart desires. They deliver, even though I don't usually get delivery from this location since I am closer to the other location. And the food is always delicious, I don't know what they do to their food to make it so addicting, but it really is. I am always craving the wings, the chili, and obviously the cheesesteaks. (Fun twist on a cheesesteak, buffalo chicken cheesesteak, yumm) All in all, this place makes me happy, and its now a tradition to visit after Brewers games. read more

Customer service, like their delivery, is slow and inattentive. Also a bit pricey for the quality of food and service one receives at this establishment. Here's my biggest question, why the hell is there a guy taking orders and making food while wearing an EYEBROW THREADING shirt?!? Hope you washed all the pubes off before work today, and make sure you like all those selfies on your facebook which was more important than tending to the guys with money in their hands at the counter.
