After checking out a few countertop fabricators, we decided to go with Sicilian Marble and Granite for our countertops. Lilliana was amazing. She met us at a warehouse to look at slabs of quartz, helped us make decisions about color, layout, and design. She was never once pushy and let us wander and discuss different slabs before finally making our decision. In the end, she saved us a lot of money by figuring out how to fabricate our countertops with one slab instead of two slabs. Her team was efficient in measuring our cabinets, laying out the template, installing the plywood countertop and installing the quartz. Lilliana allowed us to come and lay the templates out on our piece of quartz and help decide how it would fit and look in our kitchen (she is a pro; she did the majority of all the work and she did it very well). She was meticulous with designing the layout and making sure the veining in our slab would flow nicely from one piece to the next. We are very happy with our countertops and if we had to do it all over again, we would not change a thing! read more

Both bathrooms turned out flawless. Better than many other granite shops for sure. The girl in the office was very helpful very in deciding the layouts. The installation person and helper were incredible. This guy was amazingly accurate. He installed the cut granite pieces and drilled the holes through the granite for the faucet and accessories Very smart guy. Even with all my concerns the granite was cut perfectly. Couldn't have done better. I was referred from a friend that had this huge blue granite center table with stove workspace and eating area all cut into this one piece huge granite slab. This review is way overdue. I was looking for a small piece of quartz for a custom buffet in dining room - no cut outs - nothing special and was calling around trying to find a remnant. I reached this group and they were exceptionally professional, polite, efficient. The man who came to measure was on his game and thought of issues that I didn't and made sure the fabrication would be fine. The installation was rushed as I was having a big birthday party (ending in zero!) and wanted the counter before the party... The team was able to shift around for me and got the slab fabricated, delivered, and installed in short order. After 2 different cracks were noticed after installation using the other company, we were connected with Sicilian. They were awesome from start to finish! The owner of Sicilian Marble, Lorenzo, is really laid back and very easy to work with. The countertops that SMG created for my kitchen are beyond expectations! Lilliana, who owns SMG with her husband Lorenzo, treated me as if I were a family member. She drove from her location in Chula Vista all the way to Mira Mesa to meet me at Brazilian Granite to review the slab of stone I had chosen, and to show me possible ways of fabricating it. It was clear that Lilliana approaches this like an artist, and truly cares that her customers will be happy with the final custom design. After the templates were made, I met with her again at SMG to go over the layout of the templates on the actual stone. She took a full hour of her time as we tried many different possibilities for laying out the templates on the stone until we found the very BEST way to create the most beautiful design. I was amazed that she spent that much time on my countertops because my job was a small one. But she treated me and the job as if I were one of her high end Rancho Santa Fe Customers. I'm sure she treats everyone this way. The quality, the care, the time and the detail were just amazing. And the final custom design is perfection! In this review I share my kitchen nightmare and how I found Sicilian Marble and Granite. Tutto Marmo has a stunning showroom and is by far the largest AND most IMPRESSIVE selection of top-of-the line granite, quartzite, and marble.. classy, exotic and chic and their prices are equivalent to all the other stores. I puchased in full a very large piece of beautiful quartzite for part of my kitchen at Tutto Marmo and left it there to sit until my kitchen was done. I bought and paid in full, a second piece of granite for the island of my kitchen from Bedrosians and left the granite at Bedrosians, just as I did with Tutto Marmo. Meanwhile I was having my kitchen cabinets installed and ran into legal issues with the company. We ended up in a huge dispute with the kitchen installers that took almost 2 years to resolve. Tutto Marmo never called me even once to nag me nor stress me out about when I was coming to pick up my purchase. Bedrosians called me a dozen times as well as emailed me and threatened on multiple occasions, even though they knew I was in a disupte with my kitchen installers, to charge me a FEE each month to keep my one piece of granite there. Finally, the manager at Bedrosians said if I did not come pick up the granite, that they had the right to sell it, even though it had been paid for in full at time of purchase!! So though the kitchen was not done yet, I was even more stressed out and forced to pick out a fabricator prematurely and have him pick up the order at Bedrosians. I was so worried that Tutto Marmo would also be uptight about holding my purchase. I called Tutto Marmo to tell them what I was going through and askled was it ok that I left my piece there. They were too kind and said never to worry. They were so mature and proffesional and assured me they were accustomed to delays and challenges. They would hold my piece as long as it took. I asked and Tutto Marmo gave me the name of a fabricator THEY themselves had used to install marble and granite in their OWN showroom. They knew the hell I was going through and said this fabricator was top notch. I called and got a bid with the owner of the company, Lorenzo as well as getting 5 other bids. I decided to go with Sicialian Marble and Granite and Lorenzo BECAUSE Tutto Marmo spoke so highly of Lorenzo and I could see his results at their showroom. Even though my money was tied up in the kitchen legal world, Lorenzo went to Bedrosians, to pick up the granite they were too stressed to hold for me. When he called me back he told me the piece I had paid for at Bedrosians, was actually on display in their showroom with a "For Sale" tag on it!!! He and I could not believe it! He was consistently kind, proffesional and did a superb job. He gave me his cell phone and always answered, even while on a job site. Lorenzo has the nicest and most easy going positive attitude I've ever met. He held the piece from Bedrosians for 6 months without even a deposit from me since he knew the hell I was going through with the kitchen installers. I was a little shell shocked by the time the kitchen was finally ready for fabrication of the pieces. There were a lot of decisions for the cuts for the huge 3 pieces and Lorenzo and his wife were patient and went over and above what it took to help me make the cuts and ensure my happiness with the final result. I even used photoshop to look at how my cut selections would look when put together to ease my mind. Lorenzo's wife, Liliana let me drive back over and show her the photoshop images and to let me change my mind. I really appreciated that! I could not be happier with the results of my countertops. The two quartzite cuts where the sink meets fit far better, than I expected, they are perfect and the metered edges are exceptional.
