Went to Churasuko last night with my friends. I arrived earlier then our reservation so I decided to sit at the bar for a while. Ryan and Gabe were Great! Very Knowledgeable about the cocktail menu and and helped guide us to great drink(Lychee Martini and Pina capriniha) were amazing!) we never tried them before and definitely didn't regret it. When a table was available for our reservation we moved to the dining area. We had Bryan and Nebi as our servers. They help explain the food items when arriving at the table, highly attentive and answered all of our questions. We decided on the Curated experience($200 per person)which is a French style of dining. We started of with the Chilled signature that included the Half moon canoe, Omakase Sashimi, and Oyster Tsunami. We then continued to the Soups(Squash or Lobster). We then transitioned to the chawanmushi and skewers which were delicious. Our group opted to get the fire and Ice Tower( no regret) it brought lobster tail,jumbo shrimps and oyster Rockefeller on top and raw oysters with sashimi on the bottom. The presentation was our favorite part because it was set on fire at the top and smoking at the bottom due to the dry ice. As we arrived to the wagyu experience we decided to try one of each of the sides dish(wagyu fried rice, Uni Pasta, Bone marrow pasta). As rounds of all the wagyu the A5 Japanese and Flank steaks were our favorites. We had ordered so much that we were worried that it would go to waste. Luckily we were able to get a to-go box. The cherry on top was the desserts we tried them all, my guilty pleasure is sweets so I wasn't able to pick a favorite. Big shoutout to Victor also he dropped of our foods on various occasions and took the time to not only explain the dish but also answer other questions we had about the restaurant. They are still in the soft opening and the restaurant is finalizing construction on the top floor so they are still tweaking the menu and perfecting the service. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be back for their Grand Opening! read more

Churasuko Restaurant - Tyson's Corner Soft Launch Review My family and I had the pleasure of attending the soft launch of Churasuko Restaurant in Tyson's Corner, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. A big thank you to American Express and Resy for the opportunity to take part in this exclusive event. We chose the Churasuko Experience, a fixed-price option that gives guests a taste of everything the restaurant has to offer. It was a fantastic way to explore the menu--just be prepared to spend around four hours enjoying the full spread. The pacing allowed us to savor each course and appreciate the craftsmanship behind every dish. Special thanks to our servers, Denis and Dennis, who delivered excellent service throughout the evening. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure every detail was just right. We sampled all of the seasonal cocktails, and each one was beautifully crafted. The Pink Dragon, Coral Dream, and Pina Caipirinha were standout favorites. While the bar service ran a bit slow at times, that's understandable during a soft opening and will likely smooth out once the restaurant fully launches. As for the food--simply outstanding. The*miso lobster bisque was rich and comforting, while the miso-glazed lamb chops were tender and bursting with flavor. The Wagyu was buttery and indulgent, though it may be a bit heavy for those who prefer leaner cuts. The Omakase Sashimi was so fresh and beautifully plated it practically made me want to dance. Dessert was the perfect ending to the evening: the citrus bloom pudding, jasmine crème brûlée, and Amazon pour milk cake (tres leches) each offered a unique, delicious finish. Overall, I left feeling super happy and impressed. Thank you to the team at Churasuko for a wonderful meal, great service, and a memorable dining experience. Overall, this restaurant was a mediocre experience. On the positive side, Churasuko is a beautiful, well-appointed space. The interior design is extremely well done and creates an upscale, inviting atmosphere. The service was also a strong point. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and consistently present--quick to replace plates and refill beverages without being intrusive. The sushi bar was decent. The items were fresh and tasted fine; however, the selection was much smaller than expected given the price point. For what this experience costs, I anticipated a more robust sushi offering. Unfortunately, the food--particularly the meats--fell well short of expectations. We paid for the Gold Experience ($150 per person), and the quality did not justify the price. Nearly all of the meats were cooked well done, regardless of cut. The duck breast was extremely dry, and many of the meats lacked adequate seasoning and needed additional salt. With the Gold package, guests are able to request various cuts of wagyu; however, these were brought out very infrequently despite multiple requests to the servers. I specifically asked for bacon-wrapped filet mignon and a regular filet, and neither item ever arrived. Lamb chops were eventually brought out, but only after we had essentially finished eating. In summary: If you are looking for excellent meat and a satisfying churrascaria experience, I highly recommend Fogo de Chão instead--you'll likely leave much more satisfied and with about $150 more in your wallet, as Fogo costs roughly half as much for two people. If, however, you are primarily interested in a beautiful setting, good drinks, and ambiance--and are less focused on food quality--you may enjoy Churasuko. read more

I came across Churasuko as I was moving into the building next door. I decided to give them a chance since the concierge told me that the restaurant is newly open. I was starving so I was really happy that I have access to food right then and there lol. I ordered the chicken karaage and the gyoza. I know they are pretty basic dishes that you could get anywhere. However, I'm gonna tell you those dishes wow me away. They stand out from any restaurant I ever been to. The gyoza was steam then pan-fry which created the perfect combination of noodley wrapper and the cracker crisp at the bottom, and the ponzu sauce that they made in house enhance this dish to a whole different level. Of course, I cannot forget to mention the chicken karaage. They use chicken thigh in which not a lot of people know this is they key to have that perfect tenderness and juiciness to a tasty nugget. They are deepfry, but definitely not greasy at all, and the spicy mayo/aioly is an amazing pair like peanut butter to my jelly!!! On top of that, the staffing is also very amazing. I am one of those guest that super picky from when it come to food. They explain everything from the process of ordering to how each of these dishes were made, and give me amazing recommendation. Last but not least, the vibe of the restaurant remind me of as if I walk into a cozy and homeyyy local Japanese restaurant. All I'm gonna say is if you have not come here, absolutely give it a try. I really wanted to enjoy this dining experience, but the food fell short in several areas. The lobster tempura was very bland, and the omakase sashimi didn't taste as fresh as expected. The Fire and Ice platter came with four Oyster Rockefeller that were just okay, along with two raw oysters topped with a bit of uni and egg foam, plus two spoons of tuna tartare with quail eggs. The additional bites--two pieces each of salmon, mackerel, and ika served on lotus chips--lacked umami and overall freshness. For dessert, the jasmine tea-infused crème brûlée was disappointing; it tasted more like tofu with candied sugar than a true crème brûlée. The one standout was the ambiance and service. Kevin, our server, was incredibly kind, attentive, and made the experience much more enjoyable. Overall, the food has room for improvement, but the service and atmosphere were impressive. read more

Went to Churasuko to catch up with a few friends and I'm glad we picked this place. The vibe is solid. Stylish and modern, but still very chill. Lively but being loud, which made it easy to actually enjoy the night and have a conversation. Service is on point. The staff from the hostess desk to that managers were all super nice and made us feel taken care of without hovering or rushing us. As for the food, there is nothing that does not have presentation in mind. Everything looks amazing and thought out and is absolutely delicious to boot. I recommend the prosciutto wagyu skewers, fairly simple but its so good. The place is definitely designed for celebrating things, a birthday or a nice date. Spent some time at the bar too, very easy or just stopping by as well. All in all, good food, good energy, and good people. Definitely coming back. read more

I had an amazing experience at Chorazuko in Northern Virginia. This Brazilian-Japanese fusion spot absolutely nails the balance between the two cuisines. The creativity stood out immediately, traditional Japanese dishes with a Brazilian twist and Brazilian flavors elevated with Japanese technique. The bone broth pasta was unreal, rich and comforting without being heavy. And don't skip dessert: the four-leche cake is a must. The atmosphere is vibrant and elevated, the drinks are fantastic, and the experience is taken even further by their sake sommelier, who asked about our flavor preferences and paired us with the perfect sake for the table. Churasuko was recommended to me by one of my long time client. I got to tell you this place amazed me. I ordered the udon carbonara with the premium short ribs and the black kuro sautéed noodle with yuzu jalapeño shrimp. All the ingredients that goes into these dishes was top notch quality; everything was perfectly seasoning from noodles to the protein. The staff was super duper awesome too. They help instruct me how to use kiosk and explain every dishes thoroughly. The small section of carry out side was very well decorated and the chill loft music definitely enhance the atmosphere there. Where should I really even start? The quality of service, the elevated-yet comfortable vibe, the variety of options, and presentation of both food and drink? My partner and I had an amazing time visiting their soft opening, we both agreed that the potential here is exponential! To drink we had the Coral dream and Creme brule martini cocktails, and we highly recommend them both! The creme brule martini was like having our favorite dessert and a drink all in one, we ordered another round to enjoy with our dessert course! Churasuko's food, service, and ambiance were top-notch. I ordered the karaage chicken, chicken teriaki, spicy miso ramen, and mentaiko shrimp. Karaage was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The chicken teriyaki was awesome paired with their signature house rice. The spicy miso ramen had rich and flavorful broth with just the right spice kick. The noodles and toppings were cooked perfectly, I especially liked the takeout container which separates the broth and toppings. The mentaiko shrimp was my first time trying this style of shrimp and definitely did not disappoint. Overall, 10/10 would recommend. Plus the service was very friendly and quick! read more
