*SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES * Stopped by here for some quick lunch, was not too sure what to order and the owners talked to me about their menu and helped me get the best bang for your buck. I love that these two (I'll assume that they're married) are always working and they do the best that they can. I respect the hustle and will be a forever loyal customer to this business. I ordered on the dinner menu and it actually comes with a lot of food which I was totally surprised about. I got the beef with chili & basal, which came with shrimp fried rice and fried chicken dumplings. Highly recommend getting extra of their hot sauce! It's soooo good!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is okay, they're a takeout only type of restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once again *SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES*

Siam Cuisine, is a Thai restaurant on Balboa Boulevard in Granada Hills. When we walked in, the chairs were stacked on tables and there were signs that read, "To Go Only". So we ordered three items from their menu. One of the new items was the Fried Wontons with Cream Cheese. These triangular deep fried crisp pieces had a good amount of soft and delicious cream cheese that were perfectly prepared. It was an instant hit. A superb appetizer. The yellow curry had more potato than chicken. Finally, the Stir Fried Filet of Fish with Ginger. This was an attractive and colorful presentation (see my photo), with an abundance of celery, had flavor, but could have been better if it had a thicker sauce. The lady who took the to go order was very courteous, with a friendly and positive attitude. When we were rung up, I noticed that there was no ask or place for a tip. She just said it would take 15-20 minutes. I replied that we were going to sit in the car and be back. She asked where the car was and said she would bring the food to us. When she did and I offered her a cash tip, she refused to accept it, saying there was no need (did I hear this right?). I insisted and forced her to take it. Upon accepting the cash, she folded her hands and bowed down and thanked me in traditional Thai style. How lovely to deal with such nice people. I was taken aback and more than impressed. These are the kind of un greedy people who really deserve a tip. What amazing service.

My boyfriend and I found this little gem a while ago and may I say the food is always fresh and taste super super yummy. The Thai tea is honestly to die for!! The lady that runs the places is super cute and super sweet they're always efficient and everything's always quick and easy and made to order honestly think this spot is a gem that more people should eat at! Honestly, I crave the Thai tea all the time I love coming here, especially when I'm craving this type of food.

Picking up some take-out. Note: This is a takeout only place at this time.

Decided to stop in to try this place because I was looking for an affordable healthy option, and maybe even some vegetarian options. This spot is family owned, and run, and is a takeout only spot at this time. The owners are friendly, and quick. I walked in, reviewed the menu, ordered, and was out with my order in 10 minutes or less. I decided to grab a Thai tea, fried tofu with sweet & sour sauce with crushed peanuts, and Woon-Sen salad with glass noodles, chicken, shrimp, lettuce, mint, with spicy lime dressing. The portions were generous and food was tasty! I can't wait to return to try their Pad Thai! Come support this family-owned business! Note: There's ample parking, and the signage closest to the street says "Thai Food", not "Siam Cuisine,"; I ended up having to make a u-turn on San Fernando!

Very friendly, I walk in and immediately I am greeted and the woman smiles. I can't wait to feast my teeth into my meal. To go only. - Food review: My Drunkin Noodles weren't spicy at all. I definitely could see and taste the chicken. Good size pieces and plenty of noodles. The other ingredients all tasted fresh. - I don't believe I will return here but I think it's a solid 3 star place. The parking lot is crowded.

We hired them for our engagement party of 65 people and added the vegetables to Menu 2. It was awesome to see how they set up early and spent time making sure the food was perfect. There was something for everyone.Pricing was absolutely fair and couldn't have gotten a better caterer for our event and we are sad that it is over. Thank you to Marcelo and Gabriel for everything!

Having Martin and his team cooking on-site was a key part of our vision, so much so that we specifically searched across Los Angeles and surrounding areas to find a venue that could accommodate their setup requirements, including the 7-hour preparation time and outdoor space they needed. Leading up to the event, MFA was great, they were responsive, communicative, and easy to work with. Unfortunately, our experience on the wedding day was very different. We later learned that Martin had threatened to leave midway through cooking, which was extremely concerning. Additionally, both our venue staff and other catering staff mentioned that MFA was difficult to work with that day. While the food itself was excellent, the service fell short of what was promised. Our contract included two courses: First course: ribs, sausage, chicken, empanadas, and salads Second course: tri-tip/steak The second course was never properly served to our guests. When guests returned for the steak, they were told service was over and staff had already begun cleaning up. Some guests even tried requesting steak during the first course and were denied. To our knowledge, only maybe one or two guests were able to receive steak after insisting. We had also rented chafing dishes so that leftover food could be made available later in the evening. However, only chicken and salads were placed out, no beef. We didn't realize the extent of this issue until the day after the wedding. When we went to retrieve leftovers, we found multiple full trays of food, including large portions of uncut steak and ribs. There was clearly more than enough food to serve all guests the second course, yet it was never distributed. Many guests later told us the food was amazing--some of the best wedding food they've had--but also shared disappointment that they never received the advertised beef course. This was especially frustrating since our menu cards specifically instructed guests to "save room" for it. After the event, we learned that Martin had a planned medical procedure the following day. While we understand personal circumstances arise, it felt like the service was cut short so the team could leave early. This resulted in an estimated $2,000 worth of food going to waste, food that could have been served, offered to guests to take home, or at minimum communicated to us. Overall, while the food quality was outstanding, the execution and service on the day of the event were deeply disappointing and did not meet expectations for a wedding of this scale (160 guests).

We placed a large pickup order for our Fourth of July gathering, and unfortunately, the quality just wasn't there this time. The ribs and brisket were both very dry and overcooked, which was especially disappointing since those are usually our favorites. We also requested au jus with our order, but it wasn't included. I understand it was an incredibly busy holiday, and I know the staff was probably doing their best to keep up with the volume. Still, when you're spending a good amount of money on barbecue for a big party, you expect the food to be cooked well and the order to be complete. This time, it just wasn't worth the price. The one bright spot was the sides. They're always delicious, fresh, and consistent, and they didn't disappoint this time either. I'm hoping this was just an off day because we've had good experiences here in the past. We'd definitely like to see the quality return to what we know they're capable of.

(At a rib joint, the nerve) but it wasn't my plate so oh well. First note this is a pick up spot only there is an ordering counter that no more than 4 people can be in at a time. The street is super dark and desolate looking it feels like an industrial area think City of Industry. There's no parking well there's one spot to park for pick up. The street parking is filled with what looked like broken down type cars the four I seen had chalk writing like tow yards do. To the food!!! Ordered 2 two meat meals that come with 2 sides. Not a piece of bread or muffin was included. Please notice the dry @$$ pulled pork? and I got 4 pieces of a rib tip that was the same as 1 maybe 2 real tips ANYWHERE else.the tips were chopped into 2-4 pieces from one full tip. So I really feel cheated and I was frigging hungry -hungry. The pork was dry and couldn't be swallowed without the bbq sauce and drink. She ordered a hot link with ribs and added a side of ribs for an additional $24. The sides came in a small container I had Mac n cheese and greens which every bite I was like wish I had cornbread to add to these greens. While she had greens and the sweet potato (which by the way was the best thing they had going on) the Mac was average I'm about to reheat and toast again before I hit send for this review. Reheated the side of ribs, greens and Mac and it's a bit better than the pulled pork, but this definitely isn't a bbq spot I'd advise anyone to go to nor would I dare try without bbq sauce and a lot of it. Dessert banana pudding last time I was here the desserts were pretty good. This tasted like the yoplait whips yogurts consistency and like knock of Nila wafers I was just sooo utterly disappointed.
