I just love this place. I eat here probably too often. The food is always delicious and fresh. I've never gotten cold food. Only one time did I have a problem. The cook left toothpicks in my steak fajitas; which could have been bad. The removed it from the bill no questions asked and the manager came out and apologized and offered up a free meal to replace it. The drinks are always good. Plenty of free chips and salsa. And that creamy jalapeño dip is AMAZING. The Elvis Presley platter is great for a first timer because you get a little of everything to try. In the evenings they have the nacho bar open. I'm super partial to Tex mex food so I could eat here weekly if not more. They have plenty to choose from. Even their side are delicious. Great music and atmosphere. How they drove me away: they have TEN to go spots, in the shared lot. I parked in what would have been a prime spot...if I was going to a different business. I don't mind walking, but it was 22 degrees outside. Only 2 of the 10 spots were being used...But (2) to-go cars were lined up in front of the door anyway, not even using the spots. When my burrito was brought, the manager said, "treating yourself?" ( was he talking about the $12 burrito, or the $3 tea?) Not with something with beans..? I suppose it was indulgent to spend that amount on food that could be purchased so much more reasonably elsewhere...(more regret!) the burrito was over 50% beans. It was monotonous. I have come back because the chips and salsa are delicious., but the other food doesn't hold any charm. I'm from Texas so I was excited to be able to have Chet's in Ohio! Their food is typical Tex-Mex and it's delicious. We had the steak fajitas and they were cooked perfectly. Atmosphere is fun. Very decorative and festive. Waited about 25 minutes on a Saturday afternoon for two to be seated. Not a lot of standing room but it cleared out quick. Complimentary salsas were very good. Even my picky boyfriend enjoyed them. I had the cheese quesadillas which were delicious. My boyfriend ordered a beef burrito with just cheese meat and beans. When it came out there were peppers and onions in it. My boyfriend who is beyond picky freaked out and asked the waitress to have them remake it. When she came back she informed us the ground beef was cooked with peppers and onions and that they could substitute it with steak or chicken if he didn't want the peppers and onions. My boyfriend decided he didn't want anything at this point. It ruined his appetite (petty, I know) and I was already done. The manager came out apologized offered to go through menu to create something he would like instead but because he was no longer hungry he gave us a coupon for a free meal to come back. Ate here this evening - food and service was outstanding! TJ was our waiter and he made sure drinks were full and chips were on the ready! Great service! The food was really good too, and nice sized portions. Our party had the chicken flautas, stacked enchiladas and my son had a cheeseburger kids meal. Chips and fresh salsa served at the table too so no need for an appetizer. The only complaint we had would be the price of the adult beverages. Well not what we originally thought with it being called a Tex Mex. Which we thought would be a good compromise because my boyfriend doesn't really like Mexican. But It's all just Mex! Salsas different. A little on the spicy side and it's chunky. I got fajitas and they were pretty good. Small tortillas so you can't fit much but the chickens good and juicy. Rice and beans are good. My boyfriend got quesadilla. One chicken and cheese which was dry and no flavor. Same with his steak quesadilla. He did get them without the green chile's and onions so I don't know if that would have made a difference but for someone who doesn't like those things his meal was dry and gross. We've never been to this restaurant before and decided to give it a go since we were hungry after leaving the mall. We were there on a Saturday afternoon so the place was pretty busy, but we didn't have to wait for a table. The first thing we noticed was how loud it was in the restaurant, almost to the point where we were having to yell to talk to each other. Also, it seems like they tried to cram as many tables and chairs as they could into the building so it was kind of difficult to navigate through. The service was ok, but the food was not that great, especially for the price. Personally, I think you can get much better tasting Mexican food at other area restaurants for a lot cheaper. When this place originally opened the food was good for the price you pay, but unfortunately this has gone downhill significantly in the past 2 years. Upon our most recent visit (dinner) the food ranged from cold to warm, and the seasoning was absent to the extent both dishes teetered on the edge of bland. Very, very poor service today. We came in at about 3:30 for a late lunch/early dinner. There were 3 or 4 tables around us with customers. We got our menus and waited 10 minutes for someone to come over and get our drink order. Another 10 minutes to take our order...and then nothing. No one came to refill our drinks, check on us, nothing. Other tables were being served, different server than ours though. 20 minutes go by and our server says he lost our order and needs to write down everything again to put it in. Oh my God, dude, we have 3 kids with us and they were hungry when we sat down. Literally, 57 minutes after we sat down, we get our food. 1 drink refill. Saw our server 3 times. It is 5:06 right now and we haven't gotten our check. The food was okay, clearly had been sitting under the hot lights forever as the plates were broiling hot, my sauce had a skin on it and our child's burrito was dry as hell. She couldn't even eat it. I can't honestly review Chey's because I've been there twice now, and still haven't eaten there. This is because the first time a friend and I tried 50 minutes before close and a bar tender lost her lunch when we wanted to eat there with only 50 minutes tell close... Called talked to mgmt they did the usual song and dance. "We are so very sorry" and the like. The next time came this past week. When my fiancé and I decided to give Chey's it's second chance. We walked in on the 27th of June around 2pm no host at the front, so we stood there. My fiancé and myself stood there for 10 mins peeking around corners and such to try and find someone, anyone to help us.. finally I got a little pissed and we went to The Melt. Got sat right away and had food within 15 mins. They only opened 2 weeks ago. Good job melt. Sorry Chey's you've probably lost my business for good. read more

On a recommendation from a co-worker I went to this restaurant on a Thursday night. Place was hopping and there was a wait to get in. Happy hour was in effect (4-7 PM)and they have a great nacho bar and $5 margaritas. Had the fajita burrito, chicken and beef mixed, and Mexican rice for dinner. Burrito comes with a choice of sauce and I chose the queso. Tasted really fresh and the burrito was stuffed and awesome. If you can stand a wait it is really worthwhile read more

I like Chuy's food but the last time we came in for curbside pick up was terrible! They told us 25 minutes til pick up. We waiting at least 30 minutes at the curbside pick up and eventually had to go in and get the food ourselves. Then they forgot to put salsa in our order. The chips are fine but I was hoping I could get some salsa with it. We went back in to get salsa and it took an additional 15 minutes for them to put salsa in a container! Terrible customer service. I understand being busy but not just for a cup of salsa. Very disappointed..... I don't understand how a company would be okay running a business with poor customer service. read more

The staff at Chuy's was quite understanding when I approached them about being overcharged during a recent visit. They were pleasant, apologetic, and professional regarding the issue. The manager personally met with me to settle the issue without any argument or defensiveness. I was both surprised and appreciative of their generosity. I sincerely hope the staff continues to serve their customers in the manner which I was treated. The veggie enchiladas (2) I ordered for lunch were accompanied by a 1/2 cup portion of rice and beans. I prefer more vegetables considering there is no meat in this meal. The medium-spicy flavor was pleasant, but I really wanted another order to satiate my hunger. Overall I was pleased with my meal, but I would certainly order more for lunch when I return. read more
