We were so happy to see Chuy's come to FRISCO. We had been going to the Chey's in PLANO for years. We loved the new bright and airy decor. We went on the first week it opened, so we had over an hour and 1/2 wait. Our waiter was friendly and helpful on suggestions from the menu. We tried their house margaritas and they were terrific. The food is always good. The only reason I gave then a 3 stars instead of 4 is because they needed more staff to wait on the tables. read more

Salsa seemed fresh and definitely spicy. We had the nacho plate, taco plate, tortilla soup and the chicken flautas plate. Beans were dry, tasteless and looked like canned refried beans. We ordered Curbside To-Go for lunch today. This location in Frisco is not our normal place to go (we usually go to the one in Plano on the Tollway), and based on the quality of the food we received we won't make that mistake again. The chips were terrible. In fact, they were so stale and or soggy that you would think they were the leftovers from the day before. Many were just plain inedible. The fixings for the fajitas also seemed to be skimpy. We order the combo for two, but it appears we only got the fixings for an order for one. Overall - very disappointed. read more

Our 1st eating at Chuy's in Frisco as last experience was 8-9 years ago in Plano where my Bride was not impressed. But giving Frisco location a try for something different- It did not disappoint as greeted promptly, service was good, quick and waitress recommend Boom Boom sauce was Amazing as noticed several folks commented it was good. Chuy's is my favorite Tex-Mex. It can get pricey once you add on appetizers and drinks, but I've always loved their margaritas. The platter portions are large. They have a great happy hour with a complimentary nacho bar. This might be shut down right now because of Covid, but if so, hopefully it comes back. Every Chuy's I've ever been to, this location included, is always crazy packed. If you're dining in, don't show up too hungry because you'll probably have to wait. The food is also pretty spicy, which I love, but some might need to be careful what they order if spicy isn't their thing. And get some jalapeño ranch too-it's the best! read more

Ladies and Gentlemen if you haven't been to the new Chuy's on N. Preston in Frisco, you are missing out! We were iffy to go to a new location but with a hungry stomach decided to gamble and come here. Absolutely what a new establishment should be, best foot forward from the minute we walked in. Service was amazing (thank you Carrie), salsa and chips with in the first couple minutes and food with in 10 min of sitting down. The staff worked together and kept our drinks full and brought out piping hot and fresh food which was a nice surprise to see the kinks worked out. I've loved Chuy's since Dallas was the closest location. I was delighted when the Plano location opened. That much more when the Frisco location started construction. I'm hopeful it's a matter of the virus, but haven't seen that poor attitude at other restaurants during these troubled times. In fact; I've noticed the opposite at other restaurants. Folks have seemed genuinely happy for the business. The Chuy's Frisco attitude seemed as though "I hate my job and you're only making it worse." Even the manager who answered the phone. While placing an order for ten. Passed the phone to another staff member mid sentence. That person also seemed annoyed that i asked him to confirm the items ordered. The young man that walked out to take my order. (Because I mistakenly parked in the wrong location??) copped an immediate attitude. I will say the young man named "Parker" that explained the limited menu to me was well spoken and polite. I love Chuy's food but today when I got there to place a to go order, I noticed the people making the food and finishing off plates didn't have gloves on. They were grabbing taco shells, lettuce and cheese without gloves. I'm sure most are thinking not a big deal. In between making food he was wiping sweat from his face and wiping his hands on his pants then back to making food. That's unacceptable. What's even more unacceptable is all was happing in front of management and no one seemed to care until I spoke to them and they agreed that it was unacceptable. This Chuy's was great when it opened, but it's steadily gotten worse over time. In our most recent takeout meal, the tomatoes in the salsa were barely chopped up (huge 3/4" chunks). There was more rice than any other ingredient in my burrito. There were long hairs in both of our meals, and the serving size of chips was very small. Half the appeal of Chuy's is the sauce you get with your food, but it's hard to enjoy it when you have barely enough sauce to cover two enchiladas. This has been our worst Chuy's experience to date, period. If you really want a decent meal from a Chuy's restaurant, go to the location on DNT by the movie theatre. read more

Ultimately average food with poor service. 1 star for the mediocrity the food, and 1 for the receptivity of the manager. I've tried Chuy's at other locations, and the food and service are good there, but this location needs an overhaul. The guacamole had more lettuce than avocado. They also ended up running out of guacamole so we didn't get any with our fajitas. Not a huge loss because the guacamole was average. The queso was great, but became cold as we waited a while for extra chips, the fajitas were alright, tacos were great, and the enchiladas were ok. I think we waited for things to eat for more time than we actually ate, such as refills, forks, extra chips. The server was nice, but he either needed more training or support, because the service was lacking. We told the manager, and she listened and said she would address the issues which I appreciated, but We won't be back.
