Great food with quick service! I got the chicken fajita and it was delicious. Only major complaint would be it was quite messy. Dirty napkins on the floor and crumbs all over. Besides that the ambience was awesome--not too loud and great art/style to the place.

We go to this location for lunch every time we go to Opry Mills and the food is always fresh and the service is usually good. Today our server was Awesome !! I usually get Beef Enchiladas with the Boom Boom Sauce, but today I got a new item on The menu and it was really good. My wife always gets the Steak Fajitas. They offer appetizers, burritos, tacos, house specialties, Enchiladas and a couple of desserts. They Have a full bar and a covered outdoor seating area. They have 9 housemade signature sauces along with housemade tortillas and some of the best complimentary fresh salsa and a creamy Jalepeno Ranch. It's worth a try if you're wanting some good Tex-Mex and a Margarita

We travelled from DC to Nashville just to go. We were looking for new places to try and couldn't remember if we had been to Chuy's but after we sat down we remembered we went to the one in Springfield, Virginia. Upon arrival, (Sunday, 10/26/25 at approximately 2 or 3p) there was a girl at the host stand (I tried to look at her name tag). I THINK it was Alicia, however, Alicia didn't speak or acknowledge us AT ALL. She didn't say a word. She stood there shuffling through whatever she was doing, and then another woman walked up a few moments later, asked us how can she help us (Alicia walked off) and she took us to get our seats. When we got to our seats, they was refried beans and some other stuff splattered on the seat. Since the one who seated us had already walked off I went back to the host stand to let the girl know who sat us down and she said OK give me a minute and then she proceeded to go see someone else. A guy was at the front that I believe was the manager and he quickly came and cleaned it up. Our waiter came and he bought our chips and salsa. I immediately saw something sticking out of the salsa (not sure how he missed it), but I couldn't be too sure what it was until I got a closer look. Once I looked, I discovered it was one of those twisty tie things with that thin wire that comes on a loaf of bread to close it. I saw who I believe was the manager again, and I quickly notified him and he came and he got it. He apologized and he bought us some fresh salsa. I didn't like the way the salsa looked anyway, even without the twisty thing sticking out of it, so I didn't eat any. He then bought us some queso for the inconvenience. Although already turned off by the place because of "Alicia", the beans and the salsa mishap I decided to stick it out. The queso was actually really good. We ordered the flautas and the shrimp Baja tacos. The flautas were ok so no complaints there and the shrimp tacos had a nice flavor but the presentation sucked. We both ordered frozen margaritas that gave no kind of buzz but they were really good. I then asked for silverware (I usually ask for plastics but just said forget it). The waiter bought them and when I took them out the paper sleeve (that read "this silverware has been sanitized for your protection" might I add) that they came in, that too was a turn off. I then asked for plastics (as I should have to begin with) because the silverware wasn't too clean the waiter chuckled a little (not in a rude way but as if "sheesh they can't catch a break" kinda way) and he bought us plastics. The manager and the waiter were polite, the experience not the best.

Some of the best "Tex-Mex" around. I had Chuy's for the first time in Austin, Texas years ago and always make it a point to revisit the restaurant every trip I make to Austin. Super cool that Chuy's has expanded to other cities. I ordered my food to go. The food was ready when I arrived and just as delicious in my hotel room than the restaurant itself. This location is in a mall but thankfully you can get to it from the outside. Try the queso and tres leches; you won't be disappointed.

The service was great. I received a very warm welcome as soon as I walked in and was seated immediately. My server was friendly and helpful. The salsa was some of the best I've ever had in a restaurant. It was fresh and had just the right amount of heat. The ranch was creamy and delicious. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl, which was amazing. Grilled chicken, grilled onions and peppers, Mexican rice, pico de gallo, guacamole, grilled corn.... it was all full of flavor and delicious. I couldn't eat it all. It was decently priced as well. If you're looking for a decent lunch spot near the Opry Mills Mall, this is it. I highly recommend it.

We came here after enjoying the Opry and shopping in the mall. It stood out as a fair space to eat, possibly a local brand, but it felt more like a Chili's with a corporate feel masquerading as a mom-and-pop restaurant. The food was good but could have benefited from better presentation. Interestingly, the chips came out in a much more impressive manner than the entree meals. The server brought a big scoop of chips for a refill, which was a great touch, but everything else went downhill from there. The murals and walls felt dirty, creating a bad vibe. The minor wait to be seated was uncomfortable, especially since the bar and several sections were visibly empty. Passing the kitchen and seeing the mess on the floor was off-putting, and sitting next to a dirty mural made us lose our appetite for Tex-Mex. The plastic plates and aluminum foil-wrapped dishes cheapened the dining experience. It seemed like the kitchen could have done much better. The waiter & hostess, likely just following instructions, didn't give the impression that they cared much about their job. I wouldn't come back for sure! Regarding Yelp, I recently had my Elite status removed after 8 years because I'm a business owner. Despite not being related or affiliated with any food businesses--only a local real estate office in NY--Yelp managers believe a business owner shouldn't be an Elite reviewer. In my opinion, being a business owner shouldn't disqualify someone from providing honest and fair reviews of unrelated businesses. My reviews are meant to be helpful and honest, and I believe that shouldn't affect my Elite status.

Too busy for me. Always packed and staff just doing a basic job, not going over at all. Food served sloppily on plate. Very Tex-Mex.

How do I use the Yelp app to check in the host had no idea how to, he did try though?

Under the five stars were you rate the business is an area that says "check in". Click that and you are now checked in for that business.

I don't understand how you get in line from yelp. There was no option, so I thought there was no wait. I get to the restaurant and there's a 20 min wait. How will this help at all?

We figured out that Chuy's at Opry Mills doesn't participate in that part BUT you can see where you are in line. My husband figured that part out.

How do you get inline from yelp? They used to use the Nowait app.

Hi Todd! You will need to download the Yelp app on your phone, and if we are on a wait it will display when you open our page. You will have the option to add your name to the list that way. If we aren't on a wait, it will simply ask you to come on…

Is it happy hour.?

I'm not sure what was on it as it has been months since I was there but I know they do have one.

He was from Long Island and I forgot his name but he made us feel so welcome and dealt with all of our order modifications. The food was good. They are one of the few restaurants that are open late. It honestly felt like our server wanted absolutely nothing to do with us. It took about 10 minutes just to get waters. I ordered a Diskin cider, but she brought me a beer. When I told her that's not what I ordered, she insisted that the "Diskin cider rotation" was actually a beer and that they don't serve cider. I looked it up afterward because it sounded weird... Diskin is literally a cider company. ‍ Just tell me you're out of cider instead of making something up. Then our food came out... no utensils. So once again we had to go ask for something. The live band was awesome, but the outside smelled awful. The best way I can describe it is like old spilled beer that's been sitting in the turf forever. Every time the wind blew it hit you. The food was fine. Nothing I'd complain about, but nothing I'd ever come back for either. Between the service, having to ask for everything, being told something that wasn't even true about the drink, and the smell... it just wasn't a great experience. 1 star because the band was good and the cornbread.

It's definitely a throwback to a different time in American history as you enjoy cruising down the Cumberland River on a restored paddle boat as you head to downtown Nashville and back while enjoying a buffet dinner and musical show. You're encouraged to arrive early to the boat when purchasing your ticket and for those that arrive early there is a live band performing on the very top deck....once it's time for the dinner and show you'll move below deck into the theater/main dining room. Everyone has a designated table. We were seated towards the back and I'm so glad we were because with how loud the audio was I couldn't imagine sitting at one of the closer tables to the stage. For your meal, you being with a Ceasar Salad course prior to each table lining up to go to one of the buffet stations set up on either side of the dining room. The buffet consisted of a variety of items including their take on brisket (no bbq sauce is available on the whole boat btw), Tuscan chicken, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and more. As you near the downtown area, the buffet area will be shut down so you can enjoy the downtown skyline views at night while the servers place your dessert at your table. Our night we had a toffee cheesecake (that tasted old and like the cardboard box it had been sitting in for who knows how long). As for the show it takes you on a journey through the years of popular music that came out of Music City - Nashville. It was a good way to pass your dinner. All in all - none of the pieces of this experience by themselves was a standout but combined it made for an enjoyable (and different) way to pass an evening in Nashville.
