    Shrimp Tacos!!
    Elizabeth H.

Large portions fresh food and great staff..the perfect trio for any Mexican restaurant. I went with the skinny margarita and East burrito filled with juicy tender steak and queso on the side andddd had to try the shrimp tacos which were great! Really enjoyed the salsa which had fresh cilantro and was so good with the chips. I'll definitely be heading back. There was a large bar with plenty of seating and nice comfy booths. Your typical Mexican restaurant interior with above average food!

Food is always great. Menu is expansive with many vegetarian dishes. Beer is cold and margaritas are good.

Only Mexican place is east Nashville that didn't lie about their hours. Everywhere else just closed early. Great margaritas and food as well

Terrible everything, food, attire, service , worst experience of my life. Should be ashamed to even be in the industry.

On nice days, the patio is the place to be, The build your own galettes are the move here. Really solid, and the fact that you can customize them makes it even better. I tend to order the galette with prosciutto, leeks, white cheddar, and eggs. The lattes and matcha are so tasty and I appreciate that they don't charge extra for non-dairy alternative milk. Staff is generally friendly and the whole vibe is warm and welcoming, though service can be a little inconsistent depending on the visit. This has been a frequent spot of mine to catch up with friends or whenever I feel like being in France for the morning/afternoon. I'll be back!

We got a couple drinks (I forgot to take a picture) as well as a warmed cookie. Staff were friendly and personable! It was really nice in comparison all of the snow and ice we had just gotten. The only thing I'll note is that it has very limited seating and parking was not the best. Parking was kind of typical for the area, but there are maybe 8-10 spots and basically no standing/waiting area. Despite that, it's got some interesting spots right next door (I think one was a library/bookstore). I could see it being a little afternoon adventure.

I spoke to Netosha, and she tried sending me to some other cafe. I said I wanted to dine here instead and cited that I did come well before closing. She didn't provide any form of excuse or apology, just repeated that they are already closed. When I said, "but it's not even 2 pm, and according to the website, you close at 2", she replied with a snark, "is there any particular reason why you want to dine HERE?" I said, there was something on the menu that I had seen earlier and really wanted to try it. She shrugged her shoulders and repeated that they are closed. Again, there were a bunch of workers standing around. The pastries were still behind the glass. They could've easily served me if they cared enough. They could've also asked what I wanted. What if whatever I had in mind was readily available? All I wanted was coffee and a pastry. If her snarky question was only to find out what I wanted to eat so that she could point me in the right direction, it would've been one thing. But when I answered her question, saying about an item on the menu, she didn't ask what it was and simply repeated that they are closed. I found this short encounter with Netosha incredibly rude. This is not how you treat a customer who happens to be a local.

So I was hungry for breakfast because for some reason I couldn't order room service. Went down to…read moreConservatory Cafe for a quick bite and ordered the breakfast sandwich, an apple cinnamon pound cake slice and a bottle water. The line was long, the wait staff maybe took 2 or 3 orders at a time and then fulfilled the orders before taking the next batch of customers so the line was out the door. I bit into the breakfast sandwich and it was very salty, too salty to eat. I tried, I really did but after two bites I just couldn't do it and threw it out. So I spent $10 on a breakfast sandwich that was inedible. I was glad I had the pound cake as a back up which was fine.
