    The King's Memorial Combo

Was super excited to try this place out as it was greatly recommended by a local. We had a group of 8 people which took a little while to get situated. Seemed decently busy for a weds night. Felt bad for the server as he was swamped and busy so he took a bit of time to get drinks/orders in. When we first sat down they gave us chips and salsa and some kind of jalapeño ranch which was delicious! Down side of waiting for food, it took about 45 mins to finally get food in front of us. By that time, I was pretty full off of the chips but the food overall was delicious! I ordered the kings memorial combo and it came with a little bit of everything. I tried the green chile rice and I enjoyed it alot. The enchiladas were well seasoned and everything was full of flavor. Because the server was swamped he barely checked in on us.

Been 10+ years since my last chuy meal. I drop past one in Orlando and changed my plans. Incredible tex-mex food. The dip/sauce are my fav at any restaurant. Did the queso and the steak burrito with a different sauce. Food was amazing. Service & ambiance were both good abd welcoming. My server kept checking in throughout our meal

We were originally going to go to a restaurant next door but they were having issues so we walked on over to Chuy's. What a lucky break. The food was delicious. Our server generously gave us two different dips for our chips. The portions were huge so we ended up taking half of it home. The decor is bright, colorful, and charming. We definitely will be back!

I try not to be a regular at many chain locations but if you're looking for quick Texmex, look no further! I've been to this location a couple times now, and it's always been good. The dining room is so fun and interesting. I love hubcaps all over the ceiling. The staff are super attentive. The service is always fast and reliable, everyone is always super friendly. I've tried a couple items on the menu. The flautas are good. I also love the kings memorial combo or the appetizer plate. It has so many great options when you want a little of everything. Definitely check them out!

We came here for dinner one night and we liked it. The chips were pretty good and i liked the ranch and queso dips. I got the cheese quesadillas and fries. The cheese quesadillas were good and the fries were solid. Our waitress was friendly and doing a good job. The ambiance was interesting and had decorations that stood out like hubcaps on the ceiling in one room. I recommend coming here with friends.

I was so excited to visit Chuy's in Orlando after falling in love with their Miami location (only to have it close less than a year after opening). So naturally, eating here was high on my to-do list while on vacation, and I'm happy to report: it did not disappoint! The food was just as amazing as I remembered: fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Their salsa has the perfect spicy kick, and I am completely addicted to their tomatillo sauce, especially on the enchiladas. Pro tip: you can order items à la carte, which made my second visit even more customized and delicious. Yes, I ate here twice during my trip, because the experience was that good. The atmosphere is bright, quirky, and fun...totally Chuy's. Even for a chain, the service and quality was exceptional. Big kudos for the silent drink and chip refills. I'm genuinely grateful I got to revisit a spot I had such a strong connection to. Here's hoping they bring Chuy's back to Miami (please, Kendall needs you!). Until then, I'll be dreaming about my next trip to Chuy's.

This is your average Tex Mex joint located within the hustle and bustle of international drive. Food is okay, but I prefer the more authentic stuff but once again, this is Tex Mex. Sadly the service was... not that great. Our waitress was not attentive and she would say she would be "right back" and disappear for quite some time. Their queso and the house white sauce (can't remember what it was called) were the stars of the show.

On the plus side-- service was good and my steak burrito was pretty good! I really enjoyed the tres leches cake too since it wasn't too sweet :) but some fresh berries would've improved it. For cons side-- rice was half cooked so I lot of the grains were hard in the middle. You can kind of see it in the pic. Also, The bathroom was pretty dirty which always makes me think about how clean the kitchen is kept. So overall, average experience.

Super fun experience at this Chuy's!! They was mostly due to our awesome service Alexis! He was so fun and personable and knew how to have a good time. We joked with him about a "grande" coke and he brought an entire pitcher for 1 person haha!! He was so great and attentive!! The food was equally as good, I never had a bad experience at Chuys. It's actually the only place I can find HATCH Green Chili sauce! No where else has it and I loveeee getting the enchiladas with the hatch green chili on it! Rice and beans here are always amazing as well. Always a top pick for me to come here when I want good enchiladas and a margarita! Get a frozen one!

Chuy's Tex-Mex is a family favorite! My parents and I come here a couple of times a month, and it never disappoints. We usually go for an early lunch, and we're always seated quickly. The service is consistently great--friendly, attentive, and efficient. One of the highlights is definitely the chips--they're thin, crispy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. And if they don't automatically bring the white sauce with the salsa, ask for it! It's creamy, tangy, and totally addictive. On this visit, I had the Elvis Memorial Combo. Everything on the plate was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying--it's such a generous portion that I always end up taking half of it home. My parents ordered the chicken Chuychanga, which they loved. It came out hot, crispy, and packed with delicious flavor. Chuy's continues to be one of our go-to spots for great Tex-Mex and quality time together. We'll definitely keep coming back!

Chuys has one pf the beat Mexican food in orlando. Their boom boom sauce is a must try. Everything we ordered came with veggies beans and rice. The enchiladas were great, tacos were super filling and the chille relano was excellent. Our server was new at the outlet but pretty sweet. We ended our meal with tres leches which was so good. The place reminds you of mexico with all the colors n stuff

Stoped in here for a quick bite. Was feeling for Tex-Mex food. Food was exactly what we expected, Tex Mex (your standard dishes). I opted for the chicken flautas and my husband had the fajita quesadilla. The sauces were all flavorful and they had an extensive menu option. Service was great! Our waiter was attentive. The restaurant looks a little run down inside, could use a little more cleanup but not completely terrible. 8/10 food

Do you still have the happy hour chips and nacho cheese and beef?

We had to make some tough decisions due to the pandemic, and one of those was removing the Nacho Car since it's a self-service area. While we don't have the Nacho Car available during Happy Hour, we do still have our Happy Hour drink specials…

    Is this a buffet?

No, this isn't a buffet. However there is a nacho bar from 4-7 on weekdays that is buffet style.

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

When I sat down, I ordered the frozen Margarita flight, which came with a watermelon, mango, and strawberry Margarita. All of them were pretty good, but by far the mango was my favorite. It tasted just like you were drinking mango nectar. For my entrée, I ordered the Carne Asada tacos. They had such a great taste, and the portion size was quite generous. I ordered it with rice and beans, and it all left me feeling quite full. The atmosphere is also quite nice. With it being in the heart of downtown orlando, I thought it might be loud and busy in there, but it was actually quite quiet and relaxing. The service was also very quick and prompt to get all of our food. Our waitress made sure to check in with us throughout service to see what we needed!

When we arrived, the restaurant was practically empty, there was no hostess, and we had to wait to be acknowledged. Our server (a Hispanic woman with heavy goth-style makeup--I didn't catch her name) was polite enough, but there were several missed opportunities to improve the experience. The biggest issue was that they were out of multiple menu items we specifically came to try. We had also planned on ordering the duck-themed cocktail that was pictured online, only to be told, "We don't do that anymore." If that's the case, the menu and promotional photos should really be updated. Food: * Chicken Nachos - 3/10: Mostly burnt chips with hard, unmelted cheese. There was barely any chicken, and they lacked flavor. * Watermelon Margarita - 0/10: It was extremely sour. I sent it back and ordered a frozen margarita instead. * Frozen Margarita - Average at best. What was frustrating is that happy hour started about seven minutes later, and our server never mentioned that nearly everything we ordered would have been half-price. A heads-up would have been appreciated. * Street Corn - 6/10: The tableside presentation of cutting it off the cob was nice, but that's really what you're paying for. It could have used much more seasoning, and only two small pieces of corn were served. * Shrimp Tacos - 2/10 * Fish Tacos - 2/10: Both were soggy and lacked flavor. * Spanish Rice - 1/10: Bland and disappointing. Overall, the food was underwhelming, several advertised menu items and drinks weren't available, and the service missed opportunities to enhance the experience. For the prices, I expected much better quality, better communication about happy hour, and a menu that matched what was actually being offered. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning.
