Be careful of their used tires. I purchased 2 tires that were supposed to be run flat with 70% tread. In less than 6 months they peeled and I came to find out they were not even Run flat. read more

Bait and switch! Called for pricing to mount tires on my race wheels and they quoted me 24$ for mount and balance. Got to the shop and all of a sudden it was 70$. I was in need of a quick tire repair on my GMC Yukon since my front tire ran over a bolt. I called around with the size and was quoted everywhere from $200 up for a single tire and may suggested I replace all 4 tires to a tune of $750 and up. Luckily I found Chuey's and it was such a blessing. They repaired my front tire and found a nail on a rear one as well. They were quick, courteous and professional. The final bill....$20. $10 per tire!! I was so happy and relieved that I doubled that in a form of a tip. What a lifesaver. It is good to know there are honest businesses out there still. read more

Found this local spot on Yelp (of all places) in need of a tire repair and was impressed with the honesty and courtesy of this place. Chuy Jr gave me a quote over the phone of $10 to fix the issue I had and when they found nothing; they only charged me $5 for the labor! My husband and I are in the process of trying to sell my 85 year old mothers car, she has a white luxury Escalade (year 2000) With only 27,000 miles on it, however one of the tires was a little lower than most of the tires on the car. So we called AAA and and they put a little air in the tire and they recommended that we go to Chueys to have them simply fix the tire, they said they are known for fixing tires for about $19, and if we just want them to put the spare on it would only probably cost five dollars, based on their own personal experience. My husband takes the car to Chueys, they look the car, (they probably thought we have a lot money when we don't), they looked at my husband, (They probably thought he was African-American when in fact he is from the Dominican republic and Spanish is his first language) profiled the entire situation and overcharged us. They didn't even check out the tire, the tire still had air in it from two months back, however they took one look at my husband, and one look at the tire and told my husband that the tire could not be fixed and that they would either have to buy a new tire them, or have them put the spare on for over $20. We had to take The additional money that we had for groceries, and give it to them. We have no other choice if we were to, sell that car from our driveway to a new buyer. By the way that Escalade money is going for my mother senior healthcare, none of it is going to us. food out of her own mouthes , to pay to have a tire simply put on the car. I came to get two tires patched up. I showed them the tires, the guy got busy and the deal was done. For two tires it didn't take more than 25min. I got places to go and people to see lol! The shop is huge by the way, they got everything they need on hand so guys weren't scrambling to find stuff and that's always a good sign in my opinion. read more

I have been going to Chuy's tires for years I have not once had a problem with customer service or being gouged in prices for anything. The employees are always fast efficient and friendly. If I wasn't buying a new tire they would always bring me the used to inspect myself before just putting it on my car. The used tires starting at 25 dollars isn't bad either, I don't think I've ever paid more than 30 for a used tire for any of the cars I've owned in the last 6 years. I always recommend Chuy's to a friend if they ever ask me where to go for tires. read more

I got a flat tire right at the beginning of a road trip that was 7 hours long. It was just my luck that the first exit I took to figure out what I should do led me straight to Chuy's Tires Services. They told me exactly what was wrong, and what I needed to do in order to have a safe and secure drive, and they managed to change the tire, give me a new one, and give my tires a rotation under half an hour. They were efficient, SUPER kind, and had my best interests at heart. Not that I want car troubles again, but if I get them, I know where I want to go. read more

Im trying to write this review as objective as possible: Good: Fairly fast service at the time of visit. There was one other car being worked in at the moment. Approx. Total time of service: 30 mins Bad: They sold me a uses tire that hadnt even lasted me 3 days. They did very little to inspect the quality of the tires before putting them on my car. The garage and general environment was dirty and messy and unprofessional with customer service. The used tire that only lasted me less than 3 days ruptured on me and I was stranded on my way to school. I was less than 2 miles away from Chuy's Tires and they told me they had no tow truck service. I had to drive on a ruptured tire ever so slowly to prevent rim damage. It was an extremely frustrating experience that could have been avoided if i had a chance to deal with people more professional and caring of their customers. As I was in a rush to get to class for a presentation, they were not attentive or very understanding of the situation I was put in. They found another used tire to put my car but took about an hour to install with only one other car currently in the shop. Chuy's tires gave me a hard time as they wanted to blame me for the failure of the tire within 3 days of my purchase. I had to try really hard for them to exchange it for all the trouble and inconvenience it had caused me but they were still reluctant to do so. Summary: Although in many reviews may write about Chuy's speedy service, it is NOT without it's risks of quality in customer service. Beware of dealing with this tire shop. Make sure they completely inspect their products before being a detriment to your safety and inconvenience as they show very little concern. As a full time student with 5 classes and presentations to have, I will no longer risk my safety or any convenience with this shop ever again. read more

Females - take note! I was recommended this place by a fellow at my car mechanic's shop - I needed used tires for my car pronto and he gave me an estimate on what they should cost at Chuy's. When I got to Chuy's later that afternoon, I was not acknowledged by any of the workers and felt uncomfortable being there. When I walked up to the woman at the counter, she had one of the employees go out to the yard to find the tires I needed. It took quite some time (which wasn't a problem), but then, after going back and forth with the employee, she gave me a quote that was sky-high for the used tires - it was actually MORE expensive than NEW tires purchased online! The woman at the desk was not helpful as I explained to her that I had been quoted a different price and noted that I could buy a new tire online for the same price as their used tires. She offered a bit of a discount grudgingly, but it was still way above what I was quoted. When I asked her again about the previous quote, she dismissed me condescendingly, said something to the effect of "take it or leave it", and I chose to leave. After getting another suggestion from a family member, I went further down the street to a fantastic place who quoted me a fair price and got the tires replaced immediately. I'll be writing a great review for them! I will not be returning to Chuy's. This is my first critical review on Yelp - I am always appreciative of how hard businesses work, and truly understand that a lot goes into running a business efficiently. Unfortunately - based on how I was treated and how I saw others being regarded at this establishment, I strongly feel that I was treated unfairly as the result of prejudice, and there's no excuse for that. To solidify my feelings further - I had a male friend call the place back the next day - and lo and behold - he was quoted a LOWER price for the exact same brand/type of used tires.
