Went on a Saturday with a reservation for 8. Nice upscale feel with white linens. I expected a lot with ambiance. Bruschetta is served cold and honestly not that good. The calamari I didnt try, but with 8 people it didn't get finished. The ranch with my dinner salad was delicious and that was my best part : ) dinner comes with bread with a dip that I didn't care for. Lamb chops were decent but the potatoes were very salty. The fish dish was served like warm and was just ...fine . 2 people also got gnocchi and loved it. The tiramisu dessert was DELICIOUS!!! Was overall disappointed in the food. Would maybe give it one more try.

I have been coming to Ciao Amici's for years and it is a must stop whenever I am in town. Super cute authentic Italian restaurant with a great ambiance for lunch with friends or dinner for date night. The food is consistently high quality and good portions. The wait staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. You are greeted with a warm smile from the moment you walk in the door. Can't wait to return!

Second visit for the first time in 11 years. Glad to see it still retains the old, warm charm it did back then. Drinks menu is larger than the meals menu but still a great selection. Our table started with mussels and enjoyed the chicken Marsala, and scallops with orzo for entree. The mussels were lovely, great sauce. The portion of chicken Marsala was huge, also enjoyed it but didn't have too much room to dive in with the starter and minestrone soup before. My partner didn't love his scallops with the citrus sauce but it's typically not his style, he figured he'd try it since there are quite a few seafood options, thinking it is a strong suit. I think they probably excel in their sauces and pasta in this case. Cream of asparagus soup was quite sweet and minestrone was unlike others I've had before, it was full of chickpeas. Service was great, the decor for Christmas made it extra warm and special. Would probably return for the pasta.

Martinis were very tasty. Salad came promptly and had good flavor. Balsamic vinaigrette was thoroughly mixed into the greens. A bit of a wait on food but worth it. Everything was hot a tasty. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert but the options look to die for. Definitely will be back even though it was on the pricier side of dinner date nights. Worth every penny!

Grabbed this to go and it was decent. We got the chicken Marsala with soup. Chicken piccata with salad and they gave us bread. The soup wasnt my favorite, the grabonzo beans were hard. The chicken was a little over cooked which made it tough. But I guess better over cooked then under cooked!

This is a great Italian restaurant! Their drinks are always delicious and service is always really good. You can go in casual, however I think it's a little nicer than that. Low lighting and chill. During my most recent visit I shared apps with a friend. We got the Burrata and the Naribated Portabella and Beef Tips. The Burrata was more like a salad. It was gooood! Fresh Burrata on top of a bed of arugula with tomatos, olives, peperoncinis, and croutons. The portabella and beef tips were flavorful and the beef cooked perfectly!

My husband and I went here today for the first time, to celebrate my birthday, which was a few weeks ago. Our waiter was Mark, and he was very good and attentive. I started with their Strawberry Fields cocktail, one of the seasonal ones, and my husband had the Old Fashioned - we enjoyed both. For our appetizer, we ordered the beef tallow candle... I had had a similar appetizer at Frame in Oak Park a while back, which has now closed, and it was good. I didn't like this one quite as much, but it was still good, and also came with some butter. I had the 8 ounce petite filet and unfortunately this is where I was disappointed - which is especially disappointing because this place is a steakhouse. I thought it was nice and tender, but didn't have much taste. The zip sauce provided with it was very good with it, but I always say that the mark of a good steak is if it doesn't need any sauces to go with it. My husband got the 16 ounce New York strip, and I felt the same way about that steak as well. That being said, we got the Potatoes Romanoff and the Brussels sprouts for our sides and those were both excellent. I would order both again, but the rest of their sides also looked good so I would maybe try something else. The Reserve also excels at customer service. They gave me a really nice candle as a birthday gift, and a card signed by the staff. They also brought out a rather large birthday sundae on the house, with fruit in it, and I was impressed by both of these things... I have never been to a restaurant where they give you a full-size candle for your birthday, as well as dessert! Because of this, I didn't get to see the full dessert menu, but the guests at the table next to us were eyeing the crème brûlée, it seemed. Based on this experience, I would come back here, but I would maybe get different steak or an accompaniment for it - they had seasoned butter add-ons and others, too. Overall, however, it was a very nice night out.

Our server was polite but not friendly, and not particularly engaging or helpful. She did not explain the menu, mention any specials, or offer recommendations. For a restaurant that positions itself as a fine dining experience, we expected a higher level of service and attentiveness. We started with the Ahi Tuna appetizer. It was decent, but there was so much going on with the dish that the tuna itself seemed lost. For my entrée, I ordered the Braised Short Rib. It was absolutely delicious and was the highlight of the meal. However, it was served over a fried potato component that was extremely disappointing. It was overcooked, lacked flavor, and did not complement the dish at all. My boyfriend ordered the ribeye steak. He rarely orders steak at restaurants because he cooks excellent steaks at home, but he decided to try one at a restaurant known for fine dining. Unfortunately, the steak was the biggest disappointment of the evening. It was bland and lacked even basic seasoning. The menu states that the steaks are served with the restaurant's signature zip sauce, but none was served with his meal. For a $68 ribeye, we expected much more flavor and attention to detail. For the first time ever, he did not finish his steak. When we expressed our concerns, the manager came over, apologized, and removed the steak from our bill. We appreciated that gesture and felt the manager handled the situation professionally. While the restaurant itself is beautiful and upscale, the music selection felt out of place for the fine-dining atmosphere they appear to be creating. The energetic classic rock/pop playlist distracted somewhat from the elegant ambiance and didn't match the level of sophistication reflected in the décor and pricing. Fine dining isn't just expensive food on fancy plates. It's consistency. It's a server who knows the menu inside and out. It's attention to detail. It's a steak arriving perfectly seasoned and exactly as described on the menu. It's the feeling that every part of the experience was intentional. This was a huge miss.

AWESOME ! Service over and above what might normally be expected!…read more On April 20 while visiting daughter and grandkids in Brighton, my husband and I wanted to take everyone (daughter, boyfriend, grandson, grandson's girlfriend, granddaughter) out for a nice dinner. We were a little hesitant about finding a restaurant as grandson just started going through the process of determining food sensitivities. My daughter called ahead to check about gluten-free options on the menu as the list of what he can and cannot eat is very limiting at this time and he is still figuring things out which can be rough for a high school senior. We were seated promptly in the front window area and Shannon S. was our server. Now I don't know if Shannon was told to expect us, but she hit the ball out of the proverbial park. Not only did she suggest side options for grandson, but when questions about ingredients were asked that she couldn't answer she went to the kitchen to presumably ask chef--but she came back to the table with answers AND a binder containing all the ingredients for each menu item (no, sorry that has garlic as a seasoning; no sorry that has a sauce with onions; no sorry that has cheese). In the end, grandson was able to choose with confidence side dishes in place of the standard menu options so that his meal wouldn't mess with his digestive system--he became more of an active participant in deciding his dinner--and that his meal was one he really, really, really enjoyed. He was surprised that a restaurant would go to those lengths to help a customer. Brighton Bar and Grill was a favorite spot when husband and I lived in Howell years ago and will definitely come back to the high service and quality food we experienced on this visit.

Their cornbread was so moist and had a nice flavor. The breading on the chicken was perfectly cooked and had a nice sweet flavor. We decided on the bread pudding for dessert which was easily a shareable item. So much flavor and wasn't too overly sweet with the candied pecans and sweet drizzle topping. Unexpectedly they asked if we wanted them to split the meals for us and serve one of each meal on a single plate. Top notch service. The restaurant was filled with other families but was not extremely loud and overall was a comfortable atmosphere As for the food, we had the house bread & butter, crispy fried Brussels sprouts appetizer, Parmesan crusted whitefish and Rib Eye Steak with Stillwater Salad & Caesar salad The house bread came fresh and was warm. It was the perfect balance of a warm fluffy cloud with a little crunch and perfect amount of salt. The brussel sprouts were excellently presented with balsamic vinaigrette glaze and fresh Parmesan cheese grated over it. The Brussels sprouts were a tad bitter for my taste and I think would benefit from a more sweet glaze to balance out the bitterness. Overall still enjoyable Our entrees came with a choice of a salad each. We had the Caesar and Stillwater grill salad. The Caesar salad had homemade dressing and was extremely fresh and crunchy. It was overall very tasty. The Stillwater grill salad came with a honey-cider Dijon vinaigrette which I got on the side. I personally didn't like the flavor of the vinaigrette but my husband did. Instead I got a side of honey mustard which paired much better with the salad and significantly elevated the flavor. We got the Ribeye steak medium cooked. It was very juicy and flavorful. It came with a side of mashed potatoes and broccolini which were both exceptionally flavored and well seasoned. The Parmesan crusted whitefish was also perfectly cooked. The fish was moist and the Parmesan added a subtle crunch. The fish could use a little more salt but that's my personal opinion. The lemon caper butter sauce tied all the flavors together for a complete dish that was enjoyable. It also came with a side of rice and green beans which were also good Overall we had a great experience. All this food came up to $80. For such a wonderful experience we couldn't ask for a better price
