Birria tacos

I came here on a busy Fri. Night Had a 25 min wait Decided to go to the bar and wait for a table. WARNING !!! The Drink Menus have no price 1 Pickly Pear + 1 Jalapeño Margarita + tip = $40 The food is good. Service is good Good portions and value for the food

Absolutely love this place! Authentic Mexican food and fast service- even on a Friday night at 6pm. They only have one size of margarita, HUGE. Trust me, you only need one! The fresh guacamole and queso con chorizo are a must. The entree portions are large and make for great leftovers. I got the Birria tacos and they were delicious! Vibe was laid back. Lots of TVs playing various sporting events if you are in to that. It was a bit loud but manageable and the food/drinks more than made up for it.

This place is our New Mexican hideout!!!! The food was amazing, service on point, ambiance was nice. The only issue we have is why the heck is it 3 stars when it deserves 5 stars!!! This place rocks

One star for decor and one star for the margarita. Cinco de Mayo is another restaurant that caters to the American palette instead of staying traditional to its roots. Whenever I see ground beef on the menu I give a side eye and if I see they don't have horchata and serve cheese with their tacos I give another side eye. I really thought service would be nice but realized what was lacking; Communication and understanding. I'll leave it at that. I'd only come back for the drinks but will happily sit at the bar

A good restaurant serving flavorful Mexican dishes with a good selection of vegetarian dishes. Their margaritas were delicious with a good kick of alcohol and their drink sizes are huge. The vegetarian fajitas and chicken enchiladas were good but nothing exceptional. The decor was colorful and inviting. Service was great with friendly servers and the food arrived fairly quick. Prices are reasonable too.

Everything was delicious. The service was excellent. I will definitely be back! 5 out of 5

Happy Cinco de Mayo at Cinco de Mayo! Writing this review at the restaurant as we speak while we wait for the check. Had to wait a little bit for a table since it's obviously busy today, but service was still decent. Our server still checked on us a few times. $6 all draft beers and $9 margaritas (same price a frozen margarita) for their Cinco de Mayo specials. Steak fajita: 4/5. Steak to veggies ratio was a bit off and steak was thin; would have liked more & thicker steak. It was still good and flavorful. Also comes with a side of beans, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and pico de gallo. Good portion overall. Taco salad: 3/5. I'm only giving my ground beef taco salad a 3 out of 5 because the amount of lettuce was severely lacking for a salad. It was more like a topping of lettuce, so after that top layer was gone, it was hard for me to keep eating my entree with just the meat. It still tasted good though with the seasoning of the ground beef and combination of jalapeños, sour cream, and pico de gallo. But for only $10 for lunch, it's a great deal. Tasty complimentary chips & salsa is always appreciated :)

If you love authentic and delicious Mexican food, don't come here. Not even good Tex-Mex and not priced accordingly.

Nice place. We found that the food was very bland. Really no taste for a mexican restaurant.

I don't normally drink when I go out but I was feeling a bit wild that night. She recommended a drink called "la suegra", I'm not to sure how to describe it but it was very nice. It scratched the back of my throat in a pleasant way, I had to order a second one. I then ordered food, which I was a little intimidated by the scale of their menu. The tacos asada were delicious, and the paired salsa was amazing. I ordered a red salsa against my better judgment and found to spicy, but the flavor was still spot on. Very impressed with the food and atmosphere, not used to such welcoming staff in Maryland. I just want to draw attention back to the wonderful bar staff, the young lady was very on it. Even in the rush she was very attentive and kept up her friendly attitude. I never got a chance to speak to the gentleman working with her but he was just as busy as she was. The customers he was assisting looked as happy as me. Great job soluna, you guys really live up to the name "tequila bar". Will definitely be back very soon and I suggest everyone in the area to come as well!!!

The parking lot is small, and there's no sauce stand--which is probably my only downside. Taqueria Los Primos has always been my go-to spot and, up until now, the best tacos I've had in Maryland--but Los Perez takes the top spot for me. I was able to easily order online before leaving a dental appointment, and by the time we arrived at their location, the wait was only a few minutes. They provide an electronic pager so you can wait comfortably in your car until your food is ready, which was especially appreciated with unmelted snow still on the ground. Although this is a food truck, they have their setup very well organized. The smells coming from the ordering window were absolutely mouthwatering. Chicken Tacos - Four freshly made tacos with your choice of meat (we chose shredded chicken), topped with onion, cilantro, radish, lime, and multiple sauces. My grandson dove into his meal so quickly -- after kindly sharing one taco with me -- that I forgot to grab a photo! Birria Pupusas - Three generously sized pupusas stuffed with beef birria, cheese, onion, and cilantro, served with cabbage on the side. We also ordered the Plátanos (fried plantains), served with a dollop of sour cream -- delicious. The portions were very filling; I have more than enough for another meal. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. The best compliment I can give? My grandson has already requested that whenever I come to visit (which is pretty often -- I live just three miles away, LOL), we order takeout from here again. I think we've found a new regular spot -- one I only wish I had tried much sooner!
