Absolutely love this place! Authentic Mexican food and fast service- even on a Friday night at 6pm. They only have one size of margarita, HUGE. Trust me, you only need one! The fresh guacamole and queso con chorizo are a must. The entree portions are large and make for great leftovers. I got the Birria tacos and they were delicious! Vibe was laid back. Lots of TVs playing various sporting events if you are in to that. It was a bit loud but manageable and the food/drinks more than made up for it.

This place is our New Mexican hideout!!!! The food was amazing, service on point, ambiance was nice. The only issue we have is why the heck is it 3 stars when it deserves 5 stars!!! This place rocks

One star for decor and one star for the margarita. Cinco de Mayo is another restaurant that caters to the American palette instead of staying traditional to its roots. Whenever I see ground beef on the menu I give a side eye and if I see they don't have horchata and serve cheese with their tacos I give another side eye. I really thought service would be nice but realized what was lacking; Communication and understanding. I'll leave it at that. I'd only come back for the drinks but will happily sit at the bar

A good restaurant serving flavorful Mexican dishes with a good selection of vegetarian dishes. Their margaritas were delicious with a good kick of alcohol and their drink sizes are huge. The vegetarian fajitas and chicken enchiladas were good but nothing exceptional. The decor was colorful and inviting. Service was great with friendly servers and the food arrived fairly quick. Prices are reasonable too.

Happy Cinco de Mayo at Cinco de Mayo! Writing this review at the restaurant as we speak while we wait for the check. Had to wait a little bit for a table since it's obviously busy today, but service was still decent. Our server still checked on us a few times. $6 all draft beers and $9 margaritas (same price a frozen margarita) for their Cinco de Mayo specials. Steak fajita: 4/5. Steak to veggies ratio was a bit off and steak was thin; would have liked more & thicker steak. It was still good and flavorful. Also comes with a side of beans, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and pico de gallo. Good portion overall. Taco salad: 3/5. I'm only giving my ground beef taco salad a 3 out of 5 because the amount of lettuce was severely lacking for a salad. It was more like a topping of lettuce, so after that top layer was gone, it was hard for me to keep eating my entree with just the meat. It still tasted good though with the seasoning of the ground beef and combination of jalapeños, sour cream, and pico de gallo. But for only $10 for lunch, it's a great deal. Tasty complimentary chips & salsa is always appreciated :)

Cute Atmosphere, but Know What to Expect…read more Lime & Salt is a really cute restaurant with a great aesthetic and a unique dining experience. That said, I wouldn't come here expecting the typical Mexican restaurant experience with classic entrées, big margaritas, and casual small talk. The menu seems much more focused on authentic Mexican food and flavors. The food itself was good, and the tacos were definitely the highlight -- delicious and well done. However, I did find the overall experience to be a little on the expensive side, especially with some additional charges that weren't immediately apparent. For example, rice and beans are an additional $4, and chips and salsa are not included. It's also worth knowing that they don't offer some of the more traditional Mexican-American favorites, such as flautas or chimichangas, and there isn't a traditional cheese-based dish like you might find at other Mexican restaurants. Overall, I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, especially the tacos. I'd recommend checking out the menu ahead of time so you know what to expect -- particularly if you're looking for a more traditional Mexican restaurant experience.

The parking lot is small, and there's no sauce stand--which is probably my only downside. Because of the holiday, the wait was about 30 minutes for four tacos, which was a bit longer than I would've liked. That said, it was worth it. Taqueria Los Primos has always been my go-to spot and, up until now, the best tacos I've had in Maryland--but Los Perez takes the top spot for me. I was a little thrown off seeing the hot sauce come in a plastic packet, but it was actually super fire. I'd come back here all the time. This place could easily hold its own against some of the best Mexican spots in Los Angeles. Highly, highly recommend if you haven't been yet.

We did pickup from the restaurant, calling the order in ahead was straightforward, and it was ready within 15 minutes. The ambiance of the restaurant is very special, beautifully decorated, with plenty of seating. Would definitely go again!

I was able to easily order online before leaving a dental appointment, and by the time we arrived at their location, the wait was only a few minutes. They provide an electronic pager so you can wait comfortably in your car until your food is ready, which was especially appreciated with unmelted snow still on the ground. Although this is a food truck, they have their setup very well organized. The smells coming from the ordering window were absolutely mouthwatering. Chicken Tacos - Four freshly made tacos with your choice of meat (we chose shredded chicken), topped with onion, cilantro, radish, lime, and multiple sauces. My grandson dove into his meal so quickly -- after kindly sharing one taco with me -- that I forgot to grab a photo! Birria Pupusas - Three generously sized pupusas stuffed with beef birria, cheese, onion, and cilantro, served with cabbage on the side. We also ordered the Plátanos (fried plantains), served with a dollop of sour cream -- delicious. The portions were very filling; I have more than enough for another meal. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. The best compliment I can give? My grandson has already requested that whenever I come to visit (which is pretty often -- I live just three miles away, LOL), we order takeout from here again. I think we've found a new regular spot -- one I only wish I had tried much sooner!
