The intimate space is welcoming and relaxing. The staff are incredibly talented mixologists at the top of their game. The reason for our visit is their month-long Star Wars pop-up that started 5/4/26 (of course). They nailed it in every sense of the imagination from themed drinks (alcohol and n/a) to the interior and exterior decor. Hoot & Annie is currently The Mos Eisley Cantina. And, it is! It's as though we've been transformed from this town that's about 20 minutes from Austin to the actual Mos Eisley Cantina. My boyfriend is a huge Star Wars nerd and absolutely loves it. I'm a fan and a supporter and dig it. It's literally the next best thing to Galaxy's Edge. No joke. We love it here and we'll be back even during non-Star Wars times!

We got one to share along with the margarita flight and habanero margarita. Smooth tequila! Shared the harvest #4 gluten free as an appetizer. Impressed by the flavorful queso, salsa, and guacamole. I got the verde chicken enchiladas, which were clearly fresh and delicious. Husband got the 512 crispy pork enchiladas and loved them. We were too full to indulge in dessert but know we'll be back again! Thinking this was actually going to be a ribeye steak, that's what I ordered. The breading was good, not overly heavy, the gravy was tasty, although very peppery... so far so good right? If this was a ribeye, this was the thinnest, most gristley ribeye in the history of the world. I had to spit out almost half of it because it was full of tough, fatty chunks of gristle!! Very disappointed in this and would never order it again from here! The mashed potatoes were mashed potatoes, but still on par. The steamed vegetables were boring, and plain, but still edible. On the other hand, my dining partner's pork chop was impressive and he ate every bite. He said he would be back again for the pork chop! He liked the demi-glaze, as well as the well seasoned mushrooms on top. The people we encountered were very nice and friendly. We were hoping to find a new restaurant close to home, but it didn't hit the mark with the paper, thin, gristly CFS. Very disappointed.

So much fun! Ordered a drink at the bar. They have mocktails that are not on the menu, so you have to ask. The hibiscus mocktail was so delicious and a deal at $4. My friend enjoyed her "grownup" hibiscus cocktail, too. So much fun to sing rounds of Piano Man, Sweet Caroline and Shout, that we came back the next day after another day of conferencing and closing down the adults only, Grotto Swim Bar, at the waterpark. Lose Yourself, the first time I've ever heard/sang a rap song at a piano bar. A great place to unwind after a long day of learning at Kalahari. Thanks for the music and the complimentary round of hibiscus mocktails on day 2. Can't wait to go back next year.

It is super juicy since the meat is bought fresh from a butcher in Georgetown. It comes with French fries too. I also had a Love Street Draft Beer.
