This has been our go to date night restaurant since they have opened. We only go when we know our favorite bar tender is working. Chris knows his drinks and always makes us feel extremely welcome. Our service is and always has been extremely excellent with him being behind the bar. We have been to places where we have waited for our drinks well after our meal was finished. But here we have a drink in our hand before we even get a food menu. He makes this establishment very enjoyable to visit. Some bar tenders are bland, but Chris is always our favorite bartender to visit. read more

The man bartender was superb, we only come here for him. He knows our drinks, is knowledgeable about whiskey and service is impeccable. Every time we come he makes us specialty drinks, and suggested great food, he even remembers my husband's drink.. The food is good however when we went to a table.... The server was slow and not attentive but we like the atmosphere. The waitress drops the check off before our plates are cleared.... Tonight was my first time visiting Cinder Bar. I was pretty impressed! We started off with some happy hour items -- cheesesteak egg rolls, pierogis, a peach margarita, and a sweet tea cocktail. They were all fabulous, especially the pierogis! I could have eaten 10 more. For our entrees we got the poke bowl and the seared ahi tuna entree, both were good. Additionally, our sever was very attentive and they had a live musician which was nice. I will definitely be back soon! read more

I wanted somewhere decent to go on a double date with my bro & SIL, somewhere you could sit and eat but also have a bar-ish atmosphere, that had a decent variety of food that did not cost a fortune. I am so pleased I found this place thanks to some research on Yelp. They have the option to check in/ make reservations thru the Yelp app and see a live waiting list. Since Covid, they ask you to try and be mindful and only spend 90 min dining during their rush. I loved their selection of cocktails, my favs were the lemonchello martini, blood orange margarita and the red sangria. You can not go wrong with any of them. I was also pleased to see that they served beer from Cape May Brewery. Our server Lindsey B was amazing and really took good care of us. The food comes out randomly, whenever its finished & Lindsey made sure we got everything and kept our drinks full. The few times I have been here , I have had the sriracha deviled eggs, cheesesteak eggrolls, the cauliflower, all delicious. They ordered the wood cooked wings and loved them but the "hot" wing sauce could have been hotter. The smoked mozzarella pizza was decent but I think next time I wood try their margarita. The Philly Dilly was a huge hit & don't let the fact there are pickles on the pizza stop you from ordering it. Perfect place to relax grab a drink or two and share some apps. We are here all the time. Last night we came in my family of 4 and 2 more adults and 2 kids. So to be clear 4 adults at the table. My husband ordered 6 soft drinks and water and a beer. The waitress responded wait you are giving alcohol to kids? I was so taken back, the whole table and one beer how does that even add up. She had a real attitude about it as well, our normal server whom we love was not working. Gia is the best, this new girl we never had before was cocky. I don't go to dinner to be talked down to. Our visit to Cinder Bar was disappointing. We were on the waitlist and arrived within our call time. It was Saturday evening and very busy but we were good waiting upon arrival. We were seated at a 4 person high top (we had 5 people in our party) because another party expanded and took the table they originally planned to seat us. No big deal except it was really too small for 5 people. Service was good but our 5th person was constantly getting knocked into because she was in the pathway by the bar. Drinks were good, food was good (but a few questionable flavors that kept it from being great). Might visit again during a less busy time... but not on a Saturday night. read more

Great food. Very upscale menu for a very casual dining experience. Read the menu carefully as the preparation of the food is with unique ingredients. I had the pork ribeye that came in a cherry pepper au jus (not your typical paring). It came with polenta and spinach. It was amazing. My wife had the lobster Mac and cheese (topped with corn flakes) and a lobster bisque. Both were uniquely seasoned but very tasty. The lobster dishes were not typical of what you would find running through New England. Drinks and meals and we were out of there at under $70 (less tip) so I consider that an excellent deal! read more

Not your typical bar food! I went during the day for lunch and the windows were open for air flow. Pizza looked incredible, but I did not order any. Great variety on the kids menu for the young ones. Nice place for meeting friends. Excellent menu. Many TVs. We had a margarita pizza, fried green beans and short rib poutine. The tomato sauce was so watery that the entire center of the pizza was gooey. Good flavor but good luck picking up a slice. Poutine and green beans were really good. Best fried green beans I've ever had. They know what they're doing with the poutine too. Drink selection was excellent. The watermelon cider was new to me and I'd love to have it again. Typical chain restaurant atmosphere/ vibe with exceptional wood fired pizza, a huge beer list with great local selections and excellent service. I was initially annoyed when I was told by the hostess that it would be a 25 minute wait for a table and it turned into a 45 minute wait but immediately upon being seated I was greeted by our friendly and attentive server and the apps came out within a few minutes . I had the cheesesteak egg rolls and they were awesome. I selected the local Swoosh IPA from the beer menu and it was delicious. The Vola pizza was incredible. All in all my wife and I were thoroughly satisfied with our experience and look forward to the next time we're in the area so we could return. We'll make reservations next time. read more

OMG!!! My friend Carm has been raving about this place for months! I haven't been until last night. Boy oh boy am i upset that i haven't jumped on the bandwagon before hand. This place is very laid back. The MENU!!!! So many options i wanted to try a little bit of everything. The cocktails are original. My favorite drink is the suns out guns out. I tried serval but that was my favorite. I had the Brussel sprouts they were just ok. I also had the short rib cheese steak and baby i jumped out of bed to eat my left overs this morning. I'm so mad i didn't even get a picture it was so good. Long story short i came here because the bowling alley was about to close and my friends weren't ready to meet me yet! This had to be GOD. WOW! This place is incredible! Came here for the first time for a rehearsal luncheon and I will definitely be back here if I'm in the area again! First-The location is right off a highway with plenty of ample parking. It's a pretty decent size restaurant with plenty of seating. We had a party of around 15 and we only took up a small portion of the restaurant. It was really clean and wasn't to loud or anything. The staff was really friendly and very attentive. They had a great selection of food and drinks. Everything looked so good! Second-The food was out of this world! I started with sriracha deviled eggs and let me tell you they are damn good! They have a decent kick to them as well. But a perfect balance to a really good deviled egg. I also had fried green beans that were to die for! I ended up getting a smoked margarita pizza that was pretty good. I think they're was other options I could've gotten but it was still good! I hosted a baby shower outside on their covered patio and it was fantastic. Jessica was wonderful about answering my questions, explaining menu options and how the party would flow. On party day she was on site and available to supervise The servers were extremely helpful and always pleasant throughout the party. The food was very good and extra orders for kids items were speedy. My guests even commented on the quality of the food and the service. The older grey haired gentleman bartender will never, ever, in a million years, greet me and my fiancé. Every time we come in, he turns his back. I will never respect this establishment because of his repeated behavior. Just because I'm not old, doesn't mean I can't tip, ageist prick. The only reason I would give this establishment a three star rating is because of its lack of having some safe items on the menu. A lot of the items here comes with a gourmet twist that sometimes doesn't make sense the pizza is good for one possibly two depending on the appetite. The other items were selective on the menu. Uh what to say...so the best thing I had was my drink which was the only thing I took a picture of. I order risotto, it was supposed to be a seafood risotto but I was not that hungry so I just for plan risotto. I also ordered the calamari appetizer. The app I had to send back because it was over cooked dry and chewy. They made me a fresh order which was better but no flavor. The risotto was not creamy and heavy on the salt. A day of beer and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan started Cinder Bar. There are two Cinder Bars. We went to the one in Clarksboro. The good news is we really liked the Short Rib Cheesesteak sandwich. The bad news is we stayed too long and I tried too hard to summon my inner John Cohl and combine menu items. We got the short rib cheesesteak. It was very good. The meat was very tender and juicy. The caramelized onions added great flavor. The fontina cheese and truffle aioli were great complementary players. The roll was not a traditional cheesesteak roll. It was perfect for this cheesesteak considering this was not a traditional cheesesteak. It was $16 and came with french fries. If I was on a date I guess the $16 wasn't bad but for any other occasion I think I would go with something else. Maybe the Lobster roll of cinder Calzone. read more
