The towel they used on you is also rough. Not a soft towel at all. My massage was not relaxing at all. In the beginning the masseuse kept poking at my legs and butt area. I think it's the pressure point technique but it hurts a lot. I asked the masseuse to please stop and move on to a different technique. But she said it would help me. The masseuse I had was very nice, which pains me to write this review. Front desk asked me later how was my massage, and I said it was ok. I do think front desk needs training on customer service. I witnessed another customer who loves this place and wanted a membership. She asked a lot of questions but front desk kept brushing her off as if he is annoyed with many questions. Unfortunately, the entire session was not what I expected. For most of the 90 minutes, she used her elbow to press very hard on my shoulders. It did not feel like a Swedish massage at all -- it felt overly aggressive and uncomfortable. Today I woke up with severe shoulder pain. My shoulders are extremely sore, and I honestly feel worse than before the massage. I came in to relax and receive a proper Swedish massage, but instead, the session consisted mostly of intense elbow pressure and stretching. It was very disappointing and not what I paid for. I will not be returning.
