This was the worse Cinnabon I've ever had and I am so disappointed as this is usually nostalgic for me. The girl working was nice and I asked for it to be warmed up, which she did. The reason why I asked for it to be warmed up was because I was grossed out that it came from the display case. The case was opened on the back side and i saw 3 flies flying around in there. When I ordered 2 buns I thought I would get fresh ones or at least one that hasn't been sitting out for who knows how long covered by flies. After I ordered and she pulled them out of the case I was already committed and was too embarrassed to say no thanks I don't want those. Here's the worse part. They were over $15! When I was about to eat them I just remembered how soft they were and it would be worth it but then I took a note and it was crunchy, like toast! Why are they crunchy?! Is it because I asked for them to be warmed up or because it's been sitting out all day. Then I thought ok, maybe the middle will be soft and gooey. I was wrong. In the end I threw them out. I'm so sad this has ruined the nostalgia of a warm Cinnabon for me. The employee that was there this morning needs to be trained in basic customer service atleast a good morning. I was the only person in line no greeting I asked for 2 basic things a churro and double mocha chocolate chillata. The chillata was not even close to what I ordered just alot of ice blended with mocha coffee no Ghirardelli syrup no whipping cream. They said they only had packs and they looked at least a day old but was told they were made in the morning...if they were made in the morning why didnt they have any out to sell? I'm not sure if it is this particular location/booth or batch of cinnamon rolls that they made today...but my roll was flat and it did not have that soft fluffy bite to it. The frosting also tasted off, it had more of a vanilla frosting flavor (like the pillsbury one that you can buy at a grocery store) and it lacked the usual cream cheese flavor. It hasn't really changed other than the fact that it feels like you have to spend an extra dollar every time you stop by. But to be fair, it's the bite you expect to have when getting a roll from here, especially with that side of frosting, if you dare! And let's face it.... they're on Postmates, which I'm a subscriber of, those late night munchies get me every time! Just your average Cinnabon kiosk in the middle of the mall, right in front of The Disney Store. I've been here a couple times. There's a prepacked box of classic rolls for somewhere around $15 or less. I remember that it was a very reasonable price. It's not outta the oven fresh, but they look fresh. Today I bought just one classic Cinnabon for $4.99! WTH?! I remember these costing around $3.50 back in the day. Definitely not worth the price they sell it for today. At that price, I thought they may have improved their recipe. But it was the same flavor and size. And when she was pulling it apart from the other roll, there was still a bite that stuck to the other roll and it tore off. Omg, the one bite could have been in my tummy! I remember that the cinnamon goodness inside was a little more generous so that it's more of a stickier bun. There's only 3 small round tables between this kiosk and Surf Squeeze. So I came here right now bringing my kids after a long conversation with them how nurses make difference and some place participating by giving free items such as Cinnabon. And when we got here the staff, Denise, said that we are not participating. What a waste of time what a waste of energy. Its a shame you put advertised for something to appreciate nurses week and yet you dont deliver.
