The food is still really good with the right amount of spices and heat. They finally added paint to those starch white walls. Veggie lunch box is now $10.99, chicken curry & tandoori chicken lunch boxes are $11.99, lamb curry lunch box is $12.99. If you call in your order, be sure to have them confirm what you ordered. They made me the wrong lunch box, and didn't seem very happy about having to make me a new one, but they did.

YUM! Finally gave this place a try and so glad we did. We got takeout so although the vegetable pakora tasted good, it was a little soft and soggy but that makes sense since we ate it at home. We also ordered the chicken tikka which was unlike any chicken tikka I've had before but it was still super good. The chicken vindaloo was super yummy but although we ordered it mild it was definitely a medium spice level. We'll be coming back!

Cinnamon is yet another Indian restaurant in Columbus. It's located in the former Szechuan Cottage. The nicest thing to say about this is that it's an improvement. Food is good. The unfortunate thing is the food is overpriced. I had the vegetable jalfreezi. It's about $12 for the regular portion. This comes in several levels of spice. It's pretty good when it's hotter than medium, but don't add too much. The hotter it is, the more the flavor becomes overwhelmed. It's made of a nice variety of vegetables, so it's pretty basic to make. This only comes with a side of rice. It doesn't even get a piece of bread. That will cost you a few bucks extra. Atmosphere is bad. It seems made for carry out. Pick it up and take it with you.

Wouldn't honor those yelp coupon offer and wouldn't explain why not .

Decent food ,. Called in an order for pickup because it seemed better for the restaurant than ordering through UberEATS . Arrived at the time I was told and was made to wait an additional 30 minutes for the food . They refused to honor the coupon promotion for 15% off they offer through Yelp. Disappointing .

    82. Mixed Tandoori, 1. Vegetable Samosa

Almost gave up on Indian food in Clintonville but glad I tried this place. Got mixed tandoori and veg samosa; I asked for medium heat but it came out more mild, which I totally get since no one here seems to like spice in their food. Still great and will get hot next time. Extremely fast delivery and great service! Will definitely be back to this place to try the lamb vindaloo

Said they had no idea what Yelp was and they weren't gonna honor the 15% off code for first time check in . Placed my order 30 minutes ago over the phone to only get there and told that they never made it. Due to me asking about the promotion code over the phone. After I informed them that I still wanted my food regardless. They still declined to make it. I showed up and I had to wait 10 min before someone really took the time to ask me about my order. There was no one here and a man just kept walking back and forth. Ignoring the fact that I'm the only person in the building. Pretty disappointed with the customer service. Guess yelp promos aren't a thing.

Takeout - goat korma, bhind masala, baingan bharta, naan.

So it only seemed natural that I'd fall in love with Food Street, but I was worried that my expectations would exceed the reality. So instead of going in... I decided to order delivery through good ole Door Dash - expecting a sad, slightly cold, non crispy shadow what you'd get in person but let me tell yas.... this was not the case at all! Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich was phenomenal! It was wicked crispy, the size of my head (quick makes this a HUGE value... not that my head is that big, but order it to get an idea), bun was not soggy at all, and it did not disappoint. Chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, not chewy at all, and seasoned well. Coleslaw added a nice vinegar contrast (I wish there was much more coleslaw but it didn't stop me!), sauce was smokey and slightly spicy, and the bun was soft. Chicken Tikka Paratha Roll was also a hit! Great seasoning, chicken was incredibly well cooked - melt in your mouth style - with small bits of char - vegetables were fresh, and the roll itself had great chew and flavor w/out being greasy (at all) or saturated. Fries were bangers too. Ready to eat my way through the menu. If it's this good when ordered, can't image what'd it be in house.

We went to the counter to place or order, we ordered, faluda, garlic chicken wrap, Malia boti wrap gappa chaat and mango lassi. Everything except for the faluda tasted just ok. Nothing for me to go back and try it again. Now let's go back to the faluda. They forgot to give us the faluda. We had to ask 3 times and almost 2 hours later, they finally brought it out. And it tasted nothing like any form of faluda. It was vanilla ice cream with crushed pistachio. No apologies or explanation for the wait. With so many great places to have Indian/desi street food, this is not one of them.

We started with the next appetizer plate. You get to try a little bit of everything, but my favorite was the dolmas. The hummus and Baba are both incredible. He told another customer "I want you to have the best customer experience" and he even showed me his clay oven where they bake their naan (see picture). He even asked he where I was from and talked about what made each of their dishes great. It is clear that he and his co-owner (the Pakistaani chef) are proud of their restaurant and their food. He promised that the food would be delicious and in describing each item, he set the bar quite high for me! Driving home was torture as the aromas of the food were so tempting. But then when we finally dug into the meal, we were blown away. Everything we ordered was great; the palak paneer, the Pakistani whole chicken (great deal and takes 45 minutes to make), the baba ghanoush. I would highlight the daal lentil which was freshly made and a bit spicy and full of flavor which we loved. The naan is generous in serving and airy. And for me the best thing was the lamb tagine. I had an awesome tagine years ago in France at a Moroccan restaurant that was so tender, the meat just melted in my mouth. This dish came close to that memory, with a generous serving of dates covered in sesame, complementing the flavor of the lamb. It will be hard for me not to get this dish every time. I cannot recommend this restaurant more. This has been one of the best meals I've had here in Columbus in the last few months. Between the friendly staff and the excellent food, it is definitely worth a try.

Khaab Indian Kitchen Delivers an Incredible Indian Dining Experience in Bexley!…read more If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine with bold flavors, beautiful presentation, and an unforgettable dining experience, Khaab Indian Kitchen in Bexley deserves a spot on your must-visit list. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that Khaab takes pride in every detail. The menu offers a wonderful balance of traditional Indian favorites and elevated dishes, with each plate showcasing incredible spices, textures, and fresh ingredients. We started our meal with the Samosa Chaat and Mixed Platter, which were the perfect introduction to the flavors of Khaab. The Samosa Chaat was an amazing combination of crispy, tangy, savory, and creamy, while the Mixed Platter gave us a delicious variety of perfectly seasoned appetizers. The cocktails were just as impressive. The Khaab Smoked Old Fashioned brought a unique smoky presentation with a smooth, rich flavor, while the Made in India cocktail was refreshing and packed with personality. For the main course, we enjoyed an incredible spread that showcased the variety of Indian cuisine. The Garlic Naan was hot, buttery, and perfectly cooked--ideal for scooping up every bit of the delicious sauces. The Lentil Soup was comforting and full of flavor, and the Tandoori Shrimp had the perfect char and seasoning from the traditional tandoor cooking process. The Fried Bhatura was light, fluffy, and paired beautifully with the meal. The Paneer Makhani was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, while the Chicken Rogan Josh was a standout with tender chicken and a deeply aromatic curry sauce that was perfectly balanced. Served alongside White Rice, it made for a truly satisfying meal. We finished our meal with the Kheer and Gulab Jamun, the perfect sweet ending to an incredible dining experience. The Kheer was creamy, comforting, and delicately flavored with traditional spices, creating a beautiful balance of sweetness and richness. The Gulab Jamun was warm, soft, and soaked in a sweet syrup that melted in your mouth a timeless Indian dessert classic executed perfectly. Together, they provided the perfect finish to a meal filled with bold flavors, incredible spices, and unforgettable dishes. One thing that makes Khaab even more appealing is their freshly stocked lunch buffet, available daily, featuring many of their favorite dishes.
