I stayed at circus circus for 1 night twice and it was amazing. They have an amazing arcade, super friendly staff, and beautiful decor in their lobby. They have plenty of food places and sometimes they even have short circus act on a stage in a arcade . This place was so fun to stay at and you win lots of things at the arcade. The only downsides are that in my room, the wallpaper in the bathroom was coming off a little bit. In one of the rooms I stayed in the lamp and the TV remote didn't work quite right but in my other room I stayed in they both worked perfectly! I recommend staying here it is an amazing place for the family and everyone is super kind! read more

My experience at the casino was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. I felt like I was in Tijuana as almost every other song played in the casino was Mexican. It was not only in Spanish, but very loud, so it could not be ignored. WHY? Are they trying to turn it into a casino catering to Mexicans and ostracize all of their Asian and Caucasian customers? I enjoy regularly playing at the Circus Circus casino, but after awhile, I gave up and left. If the management took the time to visit their casinos they would see that maybe a large number of Mexicans my stay at their hotels, they only gamble in small numbers. We unexpectedly made our way to Reno & ended up staying at Circus Circus with our newborn & toddler. The hotel was very accommodating as we had our neighbors(adjoined room) smoking cigarettes in there. The windows don't open & no vents in the bathroom so they were literally hotboxing their room with cigarette smoke. Since we had children that was an issue but the hotel issued a refund which we appreciate so I'm giving this review. We enjoyed our quick stay. Our toddler enjoyed the arcade, winning stuffed animals and the circus show although it was maybe 5 minutes long. (But he did a great job!) Everything was pretty overpriced (arcade, food, drinks) but what isn't nowadays? If you're in Reno and have kids with you, I recommend this hotel read more

Stayed here on the way home from a road trip, although the rooms seem recently renovated they apparently have no cameras in any hallways, just elevators. The reason I know this is because when I returned to my room at 11pm my door closed behind me and did not latch. Someone was either walking hallways and checking doors at 6 in the morning or tipped of by someone employed there that my room on the 8th floor had a door latch fault. So at 6 in the morning someone came into my room while me and my family were sleeping and stole a duffle bag containing clothes, boots,jackets etc. I went to security when I realized what had happened. Security i found out does not have access to the surveillance that's a different department and any info they have is not shared with you as well. (Only Reno PD) if you file a report. The worst part is you have to follow up with guest services to figure out if anything was found. Which nothing was due to no cameras and a likely inside job. The state of Nevada does not hold any hotels liable So you know there was no thorough investigation on behalf of circus circus or the silver legacy corp So my first yelp review is summed up like this. Terrible experience. Worse customer service. Safety for you and your loved ones is a joke. They could have offered me a week free stay In a penthouse at circus circus and I would have denied the offer. If you are a dirt bag thief I recommend this place to you because security and surveillance sure don't care what you do. Shame on Caesars Palace for even associating their name with this company. We were pleasantly surprised due to other reviews. We have high cleaning expectations and we were not disappointed. Our room was clean the only complaint was the bed was way too soft. We were very pleased otherwise. Yes some of the casino areas and halls are still in need of some work however it's obvious they are renovating areas. We will definitely stay here again. Circus Circus Reno, what can I say? A lot actually. A lot of money ( $280.00 ) for a room that is only marginally nicer than a Motel 6. Except the motel six has a microwave, and all the lights work. The blankets are thin and they don't use mattress pads or fitted sheets. Well Ok, they technically have mattress pads, pads which are reminiscent of the thin wool blankets I was issued in basic military training 40 years ago. The sheet that is used instead of a nice fitted sheet, migrates around and gets wrinkled and bunches up making for an uncomfortable night. That is, unless you are more distracted by the low quality cotton that lays rough against your skin. The walk to the room was nightmarishly long, and forced us to lift our (fairly heavy luggage as we were staying for five days) up and down two sets of stairs. That's right, no ramps to roll your luggage easily along. They did have elevators at these stairs, but access is denied unless you are in a wheel chair. HINT: Dear Caesars/ Circus Circus, not all disabilities that prevent carrying luggage up and down stairs require a person to be in a wheel chair. We must have walked two miles trying to find the front desk, and after that, the route to our assigned room, as the astonishing lack of signage in the maze of the casino walkways, halls, restaurants and the arcade, made progress difficult at best. Did I mention the uneven lumpy hard mattresses? You got my $$1100.00 for this week, thank god I'm not a gambler, brought my own food ( which I have to eat cold because, no microwave ) Snacks and drinks. You are welcome Circus Circus, I repaired your room lamp for you. I've spent less on five star hotels on three continents and over fifty world class cities in my life, and you aren't making the grade for a three star hotel in rural China. Never again. read more

Hospitality fail. Not a place you want to try and navigate while taking care of several children. I came here solo to check the place out for a potential reunion. 1. Lack of signage and direction inside and outside of the building for elevators and services. Signage that is there is no longer accurate and confusing. 2. The trolley between the parking lot and the hotel has been shut down since the beginning of the plandemic as the one man who took care of it and operated it left. 3. The room, somewhere between a safe room and an insane asylum too much white and bright. The bathtub , box store special dressed up with granite. Nice bathroom sink and mirror area. HVAC is clearly non-functional in the building all of the rooms have a cheap motel window air conditioner mounted in the wall. If you turn it off to have quiet the room becomes 85° like the hallways. 4. Misleading prices on all platforms whatever price you see is doubled and tripled with erroneous fees and resort fees which still go back to the motel. 5. Parking, very confusing two parking garages with vomit on staircases. read more

Arcade and food court all connected. We spent almost $70 playing for two kids ages 12 and 18. Good prices too. Use automated refilling cards. I wish I could give negative 5 stars. Went for a fund weekend with our 4 kids to see the air show and have fun at circus circus. Fun was nothing we experienced at this hotel. First morning we woke up went to the parking garage where we parked on the first level only to find our entire driver side of our Yukon xl keyed!!! Went and spoke to a manger who did nothing but say we have to go talk to security and file a report with them and that it's park at your own risk. So why do you have cameras ??!! What's the point? I should t have to worry about my family vehicle while I'm spending hundreds of dollars at your hotel . No one did anything to try and make it right at all . But wait then the second night my kids kept finding these sticky medical patches stuck inside the sheets , clearly no beds were cleaned and the fridge and freezer still had trash in it. So needless to say my fun trip with my family is now going to cost me thousands of dollars and no one gave a crap or even tried to make things right. Pathetic ! And very surprising they haven't had a huge lawsuit against them from everyone that has had vandalism to their vehicles and things stolen. This was the worst experience I've ever had at entering a casino. We pulled up to valet and my husband parked the truck (we have stayed here before) and he's parked in that same spot before. Over on the side there were cars parked along the edge. Usually the valet gets in and moves your car no problem. (Been here before) we jump out grab our bags my husband is handicap and grabs his electric scooter out of the truck. We start walking over (my daughter myself and my husband in his scooter) then this 400 lbs valet guy named Keith starts screaming and cussing at us to not park there and move our truck right now. I look at him and say you need to calm down and you can't talk to me this way. I am a guest. He said he doesn't give a f*** you need to move it right now. Again I say don't talk to me that way I am a guest. Then my daughter says wait a minute you can see he's handicap. And again he starts cussing at all 3 of us. My husband gets up and hobbles over to the truck to move it. And says ok stop screaming at my family. He's still going on and on. Yelling and cussing at women and handicap people. I walked in to the front desk and asked for a supervisor and the front desk manager came out. Listened to what I told him that happened said that that is a different supervisor and called them. He said they would not be there until 30 minutes. We had 25 minutes to wait until we could check in. So we sat down to wait. About 10 minutes later then front desk supervisor came over and said we could check in now we wouldn't charge us the extra to check in early. We checked in kept looking for the valet supervisor but never saw him. This kind of behavior from the valet person is unacceptable. I'm not sure if anyone else has the same experience as my family at the arcade. We came here Oct. 26-27. But the two employees who works at the redemption center at Circus Circus has the meanest and rudest attitude ever! We went to redeem our tickets and they both did not acknowledged us. Just stared...didn't say anything. When they finally decided to help, both workers ping pong us back and forth to one another for assistance. It was so uncomfortable. My family frequent the arcade every time we visit Reno, but this is the first time we are met with such rude behavior. So unacceptable! My kids always love this place so that's why we choose Silver Legacy to stay! This place was always crowded! It is easy to buy tickets by the machines! The prize desk's girl there - Alexia - is the one that makes me to come here to write the reviews! She was super busy but energetic, we got in lines so we could watch her walk back and fourth to help the kids to find their choices of so many toys, but she still smiled! We had zero success at reaching the front desk from our room. Very disappointing. So then I tried from my cellphone. Nope! Not impressed.

Room is clean and modern. The restaurants - particularly the Gordon Ramsey fish and chips are good. Loved the 5 minute circus show. However the furniture is scuffed up and the shower has low pressure. Also, we asked for house keeping as we accidentally spilled coffee on our the side of the bed. They just remade the bed but left the sheet with coffee on it. Over all 3 out 5. read more

Haven't been to Circus Circus in a long while. I got lucky that I end up in the sky tower which is the rooms are re-renovated. My families members end up staying in the rooms that's where the casino are at. They said it smells like old and cigarettes. Shuttle wasn't working so it'll be a walk for sure to the sky tower. The kids gaming area is pretty cool but expensive! Food court you got sandwiches , Panda Express , pizza and two other places I forgot. Overall experience 1-5 is a 3 to 3 1/2 stars. Always enjoyed coming here, the great arcade, gambling, service etc has been great. my fiancé and I decided to do a last minute trip for Father's Day weekend, we came out the next morning to my car completely kicked in by god only knows who. they did absolutely nothing, would not release the camera footage, just we are so sorry for your car sir. this was parked in the parking garage, next to the stairs in the light with 3 cameras shining at my car. it was literally beaten with a fire extinguisher and kicked in by some worthless wastes of oxygen. security knew about it but nothing was done for me nor they got away with it scott free just to do it to the next victim. im sorry but your customer service, security and safety of your customers has gone out the window. I booked a Deluxe 1 king suite. I check-in, get to my room and it's a 2 doubles! I call to front desk, I'm told to come back down. I get there just for the manager to tell me that they gave my king away and this is what I get! Oh and they refused to adjust the price or upgrade me! But the ppl checking in next to me was given the option of a double bed or 1 king!!! And if I checked out...they would STILL charge me 1 days stay!! When booking the rooms I was not told that I was not talking to Circus Circus Was told that my AAA membership was only 5% and they could give me a 25% discount. When checking in I was told that the shuttle was not working and it would be $20 more per room to stay by elevator. Then I was charge another $45 per room for the resort fees. Which I was not told about when talking to a real person when booking rooms. And a $200 fee for a deposit. The shuttle isn't broken it isn't even there now. A solid wall has been build where the boarding used to be. So thinking I was getting a real deal for the rooms I booked actually cost me $336 bucks. $200 is suppose to be refunded. read more

Back when I was a child or even a young adolescence, I loved going to carnivals. We used to have so much fairs, carnivals and events back at home in Hawaii. I also love the fact that Reno has a ton of events during the summer season as well. But if you want to experience a classic carnival without traveling too far, then give the Carnival Midway in Circus Circus a shot! My friends and I are pretty competitive with each other, and going to the Carnival Midway every once and a while is a fun past time, even as young adults. They have most of your classic carnival games that are near impossible to win, but when you do, that feeling of accomplishment hits as you look to your friends and/or family with a "I actually did it!" expression. Sure the prizes are just stuffed animals, but I'd love to win one of those giant teddy bears one day. There's also games where you can win tickets and eventually redeem prizes at the prize counter. What I was most impressed about was their circus acts. I've been living in Reno for about seven years now, and the Circus Circus definitely went through some renovations. Their stage is now front and center with a spacious area for a crowd to gather when performances begin. We managed to witness two acts during our most recent visit performed by the same talented Sasha Pivaral. She displayed a wide array of skills. She's a hula hoop artist, aerialist, contortionist, and a hand balancer. She ended her performance by shooting a bow and arrow at a target using her feet! It was both mesmerizing and entertaining to watch. Whether you're there to enjoy some of the carnival games, winning tickets to redeem prizes, or just enjoying the show, Carnival Midway is a fun past time to spend with friends and family. Being able to witness talent and skill of that caliber was also very fun to watch and appreciate. read more

I went here a few times in Reno. This arcade is very family friendly for both children and adults alike. I occassionally come here with friends to play arcade games, win carnival prizes, etc. One thing that makes me want to come here again is the friendly staff. I want to shoutout two particular workers that made my experience wonderful. First is Alexia. Her smile working the prize desk was brightening. Even while being busy working the prize desk, she was energetic and kept having a smile on her face. The other worker I want to shoutout is Mary. She was working one of the carnival games and she too also seemed busy. But she was out there smiling and having fun operating the carnival game. Although I had fun playing the carnival game, what made me enjoy it was Mary's smile and enthusiasm. Between these two, I would recommend this place to both children and adults alike. The staff overall are quite friendly, but these two stood out to me in terms of service and enthusiasm. I will admit, the only complaint I have is I think the place could be cleaned a little more frequently. That's not to say the arcade isn't sanitary and I didn't feel safe. It's just with the pandemic in play (this was written in the midst of 2020) I do believe it should be done just a tad more frequently. But overall, I don't feel unsafe here. Staff members like Alexia and Mary made my experience great. It's just a reminder that attitude plays a big role in customer experience. EDIT 8/16/20: I want to give a quick shoutout to two other workers, Anthony and Nikki. The Yelp site says it's temporarily closed, but both of them gave me the specific hours for the place as of August 2020, which they said hours are 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sun-Wed, and 10 a.m.-12 a.m. Thurs-Sat. Both of them are also very friendly, enthusiastic and hard working. EDIT 8/29/20: I want to give a special shoutout to Nikki in particular. Up until now, I never thought I could meet a more genuine and selfless worker in public service. She is perhaps the most friendliest, dedicated, and genuine worker not only at my experience here, but in any service I've had. She always enthusiastic, she's informative and hard-working. And overall, she always has a smile on her face. I see her doing her absolute best sanitizing equipment, fixing arcade games, and being a friendly person to both children/adults. I had a reservation for the Towers Circus Circus I went to the wrong side however the front Desks lady said that The towers do not have access to the restaurants however, I can book a room on that side when I was walking through I see the towers as well as the other side, have an access to restaurants I end up having to pay way more money than was expected. I have not gotten my deposit back as of yet the rooms were garbage. I will never ever make a reservation for Circus Circus again read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Making/changing a room reservation was a horrifying experience. I have NEVER talked to such a rude person on the phone! I called 775-329-0711 six different times and still have gotten no where. I have been hung up on 5 of the times. The last time the lady was so rude and would NOT listen to me. She just kept reading a script to me and interrupting me. She basically told me she could not help me and was not willing to help me. Unbelievable!
