They did a great job redoing the grout in my shower and getting rid of the mold and sealing it.

We were doing a full renovation of our home, including a full kitchen remodel. We decided to use Quartzite and understood there would be a number of challenges ahead, including very tight budget and time constraints. We had several contractors working simultaneously, and inevitably hit budget overruns and time delays. We interviewed and worked with several other major countertop vendors, and not only did their customer service leave much to be desired, but our selected vendor fell through at the last minute because they oversold their material. When we reached out to Evergreen, from the start everything was different. We were dealing directly with the owner, who supported us through the whole process, from slab selection to fitting, installation and everything in between. The quote was highly competitive and market-aware, payment was very straight forward and, though we had minor unforeseen issues, they were completely and masterfully handled. Even after the installation was done, we needed help with an issue that was totally outside his responsibility. In the end, we came out ahead of our remodel schedule, within budget, and with a fantastic kitchen. Truly, cannot recommend it further!

Although there were a few missing components when we opened all of the packaging containing the cabinetry, Brian made sure everything was as it should be in the end and got me everything I asked and paid for with no argument. He even made a few deliveries himself. Brian was professional, extremely knowledgeable and helpful when I had questions or concerns. He had me come up to his office / warehouse location to look at some examples of what United had to offer, which I would recommend others do as well. He "always" responded back to me when I sent an email or called even when he was ill or on vacation. He explained things when I didn't understand so I could contemplate what I wanted, and we could go forward from there. When the remodel was complete, Brian and his colleague, Jade Hemmings, came out with a professional photographer (at my convenience) and took photographs. Jade made sure I was given copies of the photos taken, which was sincerely appreciated. I would highly recommend United Wholesale Supply Inc and anyone lucky enough to have Brian as their sales associate, would be lucky to have him.

TASK: Remove existing backsplash and countertop and install a new backsplash and countertop…read more PROBLEM 1: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE COUNTERTOPS. Nothing was covered. All contents of the drawers were contaminated by demolition materials. In addition, during the demolition, the underlayment of the countertops was damaged. As stated in the contract, this was not to be addressed by Granite and Marble Specialists (GMS). Once the island countertop was removed, you could see that a heavy layer of glue remained on the underlay. The installers said that that was not their responsibility. They installed the countertop over the uneven underlayment of the residual glue. This meant that there were up to 1/2 inch gaps between the counter and the underlayment, stretching a span of 108.5 inches. Over time, this will lead to instability and breakage of the stone. The installers forged ahead and installed the new countertop independent of the gaps. The installers were adamant that they had installed the island countertop to level. RESULT: We had to remove the new countertop and have the surface sanded to level before having them reinstall the countertop. PROBLEM 2: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE BLACKSPLASH AFTER DEMOLITION. This meant that it was the homeowner's responsibility to install drywall and to make sure that the backsplash was level. The backsplash was 1.5 inches unlevel from one end of the backsplash to the other. Thus, in addition to the provision of drywall because the existing drywall was damaged during demolition, we had to shim the drywall to ensure the backsplash was level for the backsplash installation. RESULT: We had to go buy wood, cut it to the specific dimensions and install the new underlayment for the backsplash. IN SUM: GMS provided what the contract stated, an installed countertop and backsplash. It was not stated in the contract that it be level or that it be level to the degree that it was level prior to the new installation. The installers showed it to be level because the countertop was 108.5 inches long X 46 inches wide X 3cm deep. So, BEWARE. If this is the type of installation you are looking for, this is the organization for you.

Honestly, my last time here was back in 2022 when I needed furniture myself, so I don't come here very often. The building itself is massive and huge, housing many sections filled with furniture and tools of different kinds like for the kitchen, living room and bathroom, along with rooms for lighting and the warehouse where you can grab your stuff. This isn't even the bulk of it, and we spent a while in here while also getting some dessert! DISCLAIMER: If you're here for just food and/or know how IKEA works, you can skip the next two paragraphs of this review. When you get in, you can pick up a brochure outlining the approximate layout of the building's section and a small pencil. For almost every room, the larger furnitures have numbers on them that correspond to the parts you pick up yourself from their warehouse section, which comes just before the cash registers. There are smaller objects like small lamps, nuts and bolts, fixtures and pots that you can just pick up and put in your cart/bag. Even though each area is numbered a certain way and the map on the brochure looks linear, you can skip sections via shortcuts placed throughout. Otherwise, you follow the nicely placed arrows guiding you through all the sections and just enjoy the placements of some of the things you wanna get. I found myself oogling over the kitchen and bedroom setups every once in a while! Once you're done with all of that, you can purchase your items either through self checkout or at the registers where staff help you. Some of them also stay by the self-checkout areas and assist those who have trouble with some of the features. Some simple tips I have for grabbing objects: - Depending on what you get, make sure you grab ALL the parts for the stuff you get in the warehouse! They're usually clearly labeled but it's easy to miss some of them. - My friend used the IKEA app and came prepared ahead of time with a long list of items he wanted. He used some of the computers spread around the store to help him find which specific room carried the object(s) he was looking for. - Writing the numbers for larger goodies isn't always helpful as you might not remember what an object looks like when you reach the warehouse. I usually take photos of that number along with the object so I can gauge if I'm getting the right things. After doing all that shopping, we stopped by the small cafe just after the cash registers and got ourselves their frozen yogurt, which essentially tastes like vanilla ice cream but has a slightly different consistency from regular ice cream, something I can only describe as being a lot smoother than ice cream and a little tart. The cone it's served in is your standard ice cream cone. From friends who love going here, they advise to go during weekdays when it's not as packed, and to not try the overhype Swedish meatballs either. Since I'm a foodie, I'm gonna do the latter next time I come here!
