My boyfriend was getting work done on his truck at Fairway Ford across the way. We wanted a quick breakfast and decided on Our City Bagelry. There is plenty of parking in the Big Lots shopping center. Outside consists of comfortable seating decor that looks like it came from a cafe in Paris. Inside, we were greeted by a gentleman and woman, whom I assume were the owners. I loved the menu selection and types of bagels offered. I settled on a small, black coffee and their Greek Bagel. It consisted of egg, feta cheese, spinach, tomato, and onion. I even selected a flavorful bagel for it. A tomato basil one. We chose to sit inside, which still offered nice furnishings and a quiet atmosphere. I would recommend this place to not only locals, but to residents of Yorba Linda, Fullerton, Anaheim, and Brea, who may pass through for business or pleasure. The prices were reasonable and I look forward to my next menu order soon! read more

This business has been around since 1994 and it's still running really good! Family own place, pretty small but with a lot of variety. I've never been around this area before but one day on our day off we decided to go on an adventure and try something new and different. Since we haven't been here before and we found it through yelp it seemed like a great breakfast spot to go to. Ordered a breakfast bagel with egg, cheese and turkey. Also a bagel with peanut butter and bannna with blueberry bagel. Had to drink and picked it by its adorable name -life's a peach with peach juice, coconut, raspberries, mangos, banana and nonfat yogurt. We waited a few minutes for our food and within a blink of an eye, everything was literally devoured!! You would probably be shocked at how much I had eaten. But it was that good. I love bagels but I think this tasted even better than a Starbucks bagel or a Panera bread Bagel. I'm so glad we got to try this spot out and yes I would say if you haven't been to a spot like this, you should really try it out! The freshness is noticeable and they really do take pride in making things fresh daily. read more

I was craving some Lox, and this was a place that was recommended. All I can say is it was so good! their cream cheese was so creamy that it melted in my mouth along with the salmon. I got mine on a Garlic bagel then I put some pepper on top. It was so delicious, and it satisfied my craving! Workers and owners (I think they were) were very nice. Came here for a nova lox bagel. The portions were pretty big. I appreciated the capers because not every bagel shop puts these in, but they should've put it under the salmon with the cream cheese because they all rolled off the bagel when I attempted to eat it. Or what they could've done was sandwich the two bagels and cut it in half to hold the stuff inside together. I also got one of those ham and cheese kolaches because I read someone raving about them in the review and it was pretty forgettable. They had to microwave it for me because it was cold... Wonderful bagel sandwiches! The bagels themselves are extremely fresh, made in-house, and assembled perfectly! The bagel is not chunky, so the sandwich bite is perfection (aka you don't look like a walrus trying to cram a seal in your mouth at 7am eating your sandwich) There are breakfast and lunch style sandwiches that are available, and you can have either at any time of the day. Lunch sandwiches come with a cookie or chips (I got a cookie- delicious and fresh!) Drinks are available in a refrigerator next to the counter. They also have some Czech pastries available over the counter as well- straightforward, fluffy eggs+bacon+cheese. Perfect little snack! The service here is wonderful. You step in and the lady at the front has the kindest smile! You already know she'll take care of you. The decor is super cute- lots of mismatched, eclectic patio pieces that come together for an adorably comforting cafe look. I don't have anything bad to say about Our City Bagelry. I was greeted by the nicest lady who seems to be the owner. The cafe smells like delicious coffee and fresh bagels. There was the cutest coffee mug wall inside and the decor was so cozy and welcoming. There was so many options it was hard to choose. Good bagels, good recipes. It was all great. I got the jalapeño bagel with cream cheese and avocado, only $4. I also got a spicy chai with espresso. Delicious. I will be coming back for sure! I can't wait to try the morning rush beverage. I have been trying to explore the bf's neighborhood and i came across this place a while ago. I'm not really a big bagel eater but every once in a while, I crave a nice toasted sesame seed bagel with cream cheese. I have a place down by me that I love and I have to admit that I tend to compare this place to them. I like the ambiance if this place. Nice little mom and pop with different coffee mugs on the wall for you to choose from. There is a little old asian lady working the counter. They have smoothies (I do LOVE me a smoothie!). These are not "real" New York-style bagels. They are generally fresh and tasty, but they don't have the same firm exterior and chewy/dense interior as a NY bagel. Also, there are some serious head scratchers... I ordered a rye bagel because I love them and they are so rarely offered. I got a plain bagel -- no detectable rye flour -- with caraway seeds coating the top, instead of seeds mixed throughout the dough. When exposed to baking in this manner, caraway seeds get crispy and are unpleasant. This is not a rye bagel. Also, they offer a glazed bagel, which is coated with cinnamon sugar. Such a thing may appeal to some people but it just seems wrong to me. If you want a donut, go get a donut. I won't go out of my way to eat here again. read more

It's not a bad bagel, but it isn't an authentic New York City bagel. I've never heard of a New York City everything bagel with the seeds only on the top half of the bagel, or a rye bagel with the caraway seeds on the outside instead of the inside the dough. The tomato on our bagels were small and covered 1/2 to 2/3 of the surface of the bagel. AFAIK, if you want an authentic New York City bagel in Orange county you need to go to Katella Deli. read more

Such a great bagel shop. They always have your favorite bagel in stock, wonderful variety of smoothies, delicious iced coffee, just overall good, fresh food. The staff is awesome, always nice, fast service and get your order right. They do not skimp you on portions either, we got a peanut butter banana bagel once and those banana pieces were THICK and bagels are a good size too. If you call in your order ahead they always have it ready. My husband usually gets their Nova Lox bagel, I usually get their bacon egg and cheese bagel with a side of jalapeno cream cheese. Delicious every time. They have crispy, not chewy bacon that's very tasty. It looks like real pieces of jalapeno in the cream cheese, and they have a great variety of coffee adders to make your perfect cup of coffee like vanilla powder, hazelnut and vanilla creamer, and they actually give you more coffee than ice! They have never forgotten to include napkins in our to go orders which is super great if we eat at a park and forget to grab them ourselves. It's really hard to stay away from here, so we come often =). read more
