Was in the area and found City Bagel while looking for breakfast. I ordered their Rancheros breakfast bagel with an egg bagel. The breakfast bagel was really good and made with care. The restaurant is run by a sweet husband and wife duo. The service was great and quick. The space is small, which is fine since this place is a grab and go spot. I would definitely come back if I am in the area.

Cute hole in the wall bagel shop owned by an older couple so it has a cute mom and pop shop that'd I'd love to support. The Lox bagel was good and tasted freshly baked and cheaper than other places like Avalon lol. Food was great and service was friendly and quick. Definitely would want to try other things from here!

This shop is run by the nicest hardest working couple! They are up early but always so pleasant and friendly. Great customer service! There is a nice selection of fresh bagels (and I love their bagel sticks!) Also have available breakfast sandwiches which is what I got today. There is seating inside or outside if you like. It is cosy and quiet place to enjoy their food fare!

    Lots of options

The owners were very nice and quick for service. Food was great! We had the open face avocado bagel, egg cheese and bacon bagel, and tried a various other bagel flavors with regular and strawberry cream cheese.

Great Spot. Local and family. Support them. Got a jalapeno cheese bagel with veggie cream cheese, avocado, onion, and lemon pepper. It was excellent. Toasted perfectly. Great flavor and texture. Service was friendly. Shop is clean. Love their decor. Paid around $12 with tip.

I wish I could have known about this place sooner. I was getting my tire changed and looked across the street and I saw City Bagel. Service was friendly, fast, food tasted fresh, the monkey shake was sooo good. I will definitely be returning

Cute bagel shop with so many options to choose from! The smell once you walk in here was divine, and I was so excited to try out the bagels. I ended up ordering a chocolate chip bagel and regular cream cheese (basic I know) but wanted something on the sweeter side and I really enjoyed my bagel, so much so I forgot to take a picture. I believe it was the owners that helped me out but they were really sweet! I will definitely be coming back

The couple that run this shop are so sweet and accommodating. The bagels are great and were made so quickly. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a bagel breakfast sandwich

Tried two bagels and a black iced coffee this morning. The establishment was decent and I'd probably go back. Tbh the bagels were nothing spectacular but decent. I ordered the turkey, cheese, and egg on jalapeño cheddar bagel. I also ordered an egg, cheese, salsa, and cream cheese on a jalapeño bagel. Good but not great. Plus: The staff were nice and the establishment itself was cute and seemed to be clean.

I only read to the phrase "pizza bagel" on the menu. I do not remember much else. The pizza and bagel were properly united unlike most people in this country, and the bagel was priced very reasonably, if not cheaply. I took everything from this bagel: the cheese, the sauce, the bread, and the pepperoni. I gave it my all in return though. The staff served this particular bagel very quickly and skillfully. Almost as if they execute this straightforward activity all day for money. Everyone on staff seemed very confident in their bagel preparing and serving ability. Conviction must be key in the bagel game. No doubts were expressed about the real difficulties that lie in cooking up a pizza bagel. The ambience is legitimately serene & mellow. One can actually stop & smell the pizza bagels here without fear of iphone jibber jabber, mewling infants, barking dogs, or cheesy muzak. Someone at City Bagel values peace & quiet. There is nothing wrong with bagels & achieving total consciousness, so please leave daft dogs & ill mannered progeny at home or in the car, if you please.

My favorite destination when my wife and I take the dog out for a walk on Sundays. I love the mom and pop shops! Great food and pleasant environment. Always so nice and welcoming.

Cheese bagel, not too cheesy, but very flavorful!

Overall, everything lacked flavor, although I will say the red salsa served with the chips was delicious. My friend ordered the avocado toast, but it was basically just a slice of bread with sliced avocado--no seasoning, condiments, or anything to make it stand out. The small garden salad was equally underwhelming, consisting of only romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes with no dressing or even a drizzle of olive oil. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, but they were more like open-faced boiled eggs since the yolks were completely hard instead of runny. The café de olla had a nice flavor, but it was much sweeter than expected. I think it would be better if they served it unsweetened (or lightly sweetened) and let customers adjust the sugar to their own taste. I really wanted to enjoy this place because the ambiance is so charming, but the food just didn't live up to the experience.

Food and service were fantastic, per usual. We both loved the stuffed jalapeño appetizer which does pack some heat when it's all done. The Ultimate Brunch Destination in Anaheim Reunion Kitchen…read moreremains one of my favorite brunch spots in Anaheim. The vibe is always on point, great music, comfortable seating, and a menu that actually keeps things interesting. The Brunch MVP: You cannot go wrong with the King's Hawaiian French Toast. It's an absolute staple for me. Small Plates to Share: Deviled Eggs: These are a must. They don't skimp on the filling, and that bit of bacon adds the perfect crunch. Jalapeño Poppers: The pairing with raspberry jam is genius, that sweet and spicy combo is honestly mouthwatering. The Drinks: My husband is a huge fan of their Bloody Mary. It's heavily garnished with a bacon-wrapped jalapeño popper and finished with a Tajin rim it's practically a meal in itself. They are also one of the few spots offering bottomless mimosas, which is always a plus. Room for Improvement: While I love the bottomless option, I do wish they would just leave a bottle of champagne at the table. Chasing down a server for every refill makes the experience feel a bit interrupted. Aside from that, I love this place and keep coming back!

In both cases they were unable to prepare the food well. Last week I had eggs Benedict and the egg yolks were solid and The English muffin was not really toasted and was cold. I sent the Benedict back but Asked to keep the rest of the food because I was hungry. The girl ignored my Request, Took my entire plate and did not return with the other food on it. I literally waited 10 minutes for them to redo the eggs while my partner finished his breakfast and I had nothing to eat. The Hollandaise sauce was Very Good, but ham on the Benedict was incredibly thin. I've had many eggs Benedict and this was unusual to offer A slice of ham comparable to a thin deli slice. My partner's omelette Was quite Brown but had good veggies in it. His hashbrowns were barely cooked. Today We both ordered a veggie omelette with chicken in my partner's. I made it very clear that my veggie omelette should not be Brown (= overcooked) . The girl read Back our order and she wrote My request very clearly. What arrived at our table was quite a shock! My omelette was definitely Brown and my partner's omelette was dark Brown. My brown omelette had chicken (his order) and his omelette was actually my order and dark brown! I've never seen an omelette served that was that overcooked! How could they possibly ignore the instructions and mixed them up? Add to this that his toast was burnt. Really? You can't prepare Toast properly? When I brought it to their attention one of the girls she said I could see how you might think that as I showed her the burnt toast. She said we have already put everything away in the kitchen and so I don't know that we can do anything about it. We said it would be fine if it's an English muffin but, something that's not burnt. She disappeared into the kitchen for quite a while. Eventually when she resurfaced she brought the unevenly toasted bread, (But not burnt) and proceeded to tell us the following: " If you would get here earlier (We arrived 40 min before closing) we could serve you better" ( I later realized Those must be words from the owner). So if I arrive earlier my food wont be overcooked?Or if I arrive earlier they Have time to correct their mistakes? I knew the kitchen closes at 1:40. Waiting at the counter To ask about soup, I stood for 5 + minutes watching 5 employees move about. Finally I was able to ask and waited another minute or so while she went to go to the Back to ask. Now in line to order the man before me was trying to order (before 1:40) a vegan omelette. The girl said it was too late. He explained he had driven all the way from Riverside and it was still within the timeframe to order. She went back into the kitchen and a woman came out. (the owner? ) . The woman proceeded to chastise the young man for coming in late and trying to order a vegan omelette. She told him he'd done this before and he should get here earlier. He explained that he had not actually ordered but had tried. She said several times that she would make an exception this time but it can't happen again. And she continued to chastise him. Who treats their customers like this? .I literally watched the minutes tick by, wondering if I'd make it before the cutoff. More people entered. . Ah oh, do they know about the cutoff in 1 minute?? The girl behind the counter announced that no more orders would be taken after 1:45. Aw, they were being generous by allowing five more minutes to order. But there's no way these people could get their order in within the next five minutes. Will they say, too late, After they've been waiting in Line? Why not say instead, our kitchen is closing but we will be happy to take your orders. And why not hang a sign on the door that says the kitchen is closed at 1:40 But still accommodate diners's needs? The omelette tasted good but the experience was so negative, Such unkindness, Completely lacking in hospitality.

The FOOD: 4.5/5 | Drinks: 5/5 Off the appetizers, we had the pork belly bites and dirty fries! First dish came with a long hot pepper, several mini tortillas, and 2 dipping sauces. The pork was crunchy on the outside and soft+succulent on the inside. I can see myself doubling up on this appetizer the next time I come. Dirty fries were great; it came with a generous amount of pickled onions - providing a really nice contrast to the savoriness of our meal. Our waiter graciously accommodated our request to have the egg on the side. Off the entrée/taco menu, my friend ordered the Korean tacos and I got the Ensenada (fish) tacos. But you can also order the Ensenada tacos with shrimp. These were delicious, I would have loved a little more lime crema to go with the fish - but not a big deal. I got a Watermelon Margarita. I wasn't expecting it to be HUGE, but it was the perfect amount considering how much food we as a pair ordered. My friend ordered the La Toxica table side cocktail and one additional mango cocktail. Table side cocktail was a whole show and my friend really enjoyed it. We had a great lunch at Tempo Cantina. It didn't taste as good and wasn't as juicy sadly. The sauces were still consistent but the pork belly itself was a bit lackluster from before Tinga taquitos- these used to be so juicy, the chicken inside was a bit dry and the tortilla itself was too thick. U def need to use the sauces they provide to offset the dryness Grilled Octopus- this dish was good, octopus was juicy but portion was a bit small for what it was. It also came with sweet potato fries Loaded fries- idk what I was expecting but these were just fries with buffalo chicken nuggets on top. Don't get me wrong this was decent and the buffalo chicken was tangy and juicy! Thirsty Thursday deals happen all day $7 margs and you know I had to get some.
