I saw a used, small suv with low mileage on it on their website for a reasonable price and wanted to see if they would come down on the price on it since it was time for my car and I to go our separate ways. I researched, researched and researched and went in there with the mindframe of I'm in charge if you want this sale. As a software developer, their lead generator and whole email system sucks. I sent them an email the first time about the vehicle and while I got the generic "someone will contact you" email, no one did. When I sent an email again, 5 people did. I was able to set up a test drive the following day. The dealership itself is small and crowded with Mitsubishis everywhere. Inside was super clean and salespeople watching everyone who walks in the door like a hawk. I paid them no mind and asked for the lady who set up my test drive. She checked me in and her associate went to get the vehicle I had requested to test drive, only to pull up with the wrong one. An actual salesperson got the right one and he showed it to me. I checked out every little spot I could to look for damage or fixes then off we went. Deep down I was already falling in love with it but outside I didn't show it. Back at the dealership he tried to sell me a new Mitsubishi and I vehemently told him I was only interested in this one. When working out the numbers between the salesman, the sales manager and the finance manager (why it took 3 people I dunno, maybe I looked like I wasn't about any games up in there, thanks research!), I made them come down on the price as it was advertised as having a sunroof and sound system when it didn't and then come down on the monthly payments then we'd have a deal. I dunno what happened in the back but I was there for a few hours. I was gonna give them a chance and if they couldn't meet he half way I was outta there. Luckily it worked out for both sides and I'm motorin' around town in my new-to-me Chevy Trax. Fast forward a month with my temp tag about to expire, I go in to ask about my permanent tag and I'm told by one of the salespeople who acted like he spoke to someone when he disappeared in the back that I would have to wait another week because the funding was not ready. So I'm supposed to drive illegally or not at all until then? I was disappointed in them. When I got back to work I decided to call their Title Clerk directly. She told me that the funding was received that same morning and she was going to transfer my tag to the new vehicle, just give her 5-10 minutes or so and she'd email me my new registration. 10 minutes later she sent it to me. Was I lied to previously? Feels like it. She was the most helpful person there. I don't think I'd buy again from them. They seemed like they were more interested in selling new Mitsubishi cars than used ones and were not prepared for my pushback. Not only that, they messed up my home address with the DMV and the lienholder and never corrected it after asking them to more than once. I scheduled a car viewing appt on Saturday to check out a 2019 Infiniti QX-60 on Mother's Day Sunday. Leading up to the appointment, I received several text and a voicemail from the car salesman Mike Cohran. Upon my arrival, Mike Cohran (Salesman) informed me that the keys were not available. From an external check, the vehicle bumper was damaged, the rear lift door had a huge dent (which I pointed out to the Mike) and all rims were damaged. Do not buy a car from these people. They sold my husband an unsafe car. They claim to check them, but they don't. When my husband took it to a shop to get fixed, the shop pointed out all these body work problems it had. It looked as though the car had been in an accident and fixed without being reported as the body of the car had wooden screws and zip ties keeping it together. When my husband took it back to this dealership and confronted them, they acted all oblivious. And when we told them what was found inside the car, they acted all surprised. I needed to purchase another car because mine was totaled in a car accident. I searched online and a car at City Mitsubishi caught my eye a 2018 Mercedes Benz, so I went in. Right off the bat when the car salesman Montrose was explaining a product that they offer for $1299, I told him that I did not want it, the manager, Charlie came over and insisted that I had to purchase it. When I grabbed my keys to leave the manager Charlie interjected "Is that the only thing that's keeping you from purchasing this car then we can take it off." Slimy. I went for test drive in the car and inspected the car and noticed things like peeling tent, and a missing sensor on the front left of the car. I asked questions and was told that the car was inspected thoroughly. I took the car home for a test drive and it was my intent to purchase the car. In my contract I agreed to put down $5,500, however on the way to the bank, I stopped by Mercedes Benz body shop and the tech had me film him showing me all off the damage to the front bumper, apparently from when the previous owner pulled to far up when parking and ripped the bumper off when backing up. The clips were broken and not attached and you could literally pull the bumper/grill up with your hands. I took the estimate and the video to City Mitsubishi and called the finance company that approved me and told them about the damage on the car that was not disclosed. I explained to both the finance company to whom the car actually belongs until I am finished paying for it, as well as City Mitsubishi that the amount the car cost is too much to pay for a car with this kind of damage. They claimed they did not know the damage to the entire front grill. he finance manager, Jim, watch out for him because he pretends to be nice, but he's not. He had the audacity to say "how do we know that you didn't cause the damage while I was test driving it." He said I was looking for reasons not to purchase the car and there were certainly way too many. The nerve. I had to take him outside and show him the damage and the old mix matched paint the previous owner used to try to cover up the damage. There was a lot of back and forth and not nice words exchanged and a bad deal all together. Finance Manager Jim, and Manager, Charlie made this a harrowing experience. I asked each and every one of them is this a car you would sell to your mother, sister or daughter and they all said yes. I guess because I am a woman and went in there alone, they could get over on me. I am not the one. Please if you buy a car from ANYWHERE READ YOUR CONTRACT! MAKE SURE THE STARTING PRICE IS CORRECT!! MAKE SURE YOUR DOWN PAYMENT IS APPLIED! AND QUESTION ANYTHING THAT DOENSN'T LOOK RIGHT! Do not assume you can trust these car dealers because their goal is to put as much money in their pockets. First off, the only reason I am giving them one star is because that is the lowest option. Although my sales guy was honest and not all about money, he's just sadly working for a poor company. Everyone else, including the "manager" Roy are terrible customer service representatives. The only reason I purchased my car there is because I really liked the car and made the most rookie mistake which was letting them run my credit. I have a perfect score and didn't want to jeopardize that. Since the beginning, my experience was not very pleasant. I put a 15K down payment on a really nice car and getting them to negotiate the price of the car (by only $1000) was like pulling teeth. The "finance manager" was terrible, contacted me by phone to get my paperwork done online so they could close the deal. I contacted him several times after finishing my online application. Left several voicemails and he never called back. Next day my sales guy tells me this guy had a "family emergency." So what happens when something like this happens? Do they not have someone they can fall back on. Especially being such a "busy dealership." Every time I called trying to contact someone from the dealership, I would get attitude from anybody that answered the phone, it seemed like. They were always "too busy" and kept telling me it would be easier to come in. I live in Savannah, GA, about two hours away. I am 7 months pregnant with a deployed husband and a toddler. I went to test drive a few cars then went home to make my decision. Once I made my decision (in only a couple days,) I called. We arranged for the car to be delivered to Savannah. Well, that didn't happen. They sent my sales guy to pick me up. Changed date and times about 7 times. I work full time and it was extremely frustrating. They claim to "service cars" and blah blah, I asked for the car to be up to date on oil change, that didn't happen. I asked for the car to be detailed, that didn't happen. The car had ski racks sitting in the trunk, I asked if they would be so kind to install them on the roof so I didn't have to, and guess what? that also didn't happen. "Because the owner of the dealership doesn't like doing anything to the cars before selling." So here I am, installing them myself because they were too lazy and had no compassion to do it. I was finally picked up, in the car I'm purchasing (ugh!!) Had pick up time change four times in one day because "they kept getting busy." I finally get to Jacksonville, exhausted at around 7 pm. Nobody was in the dealership but the guy that tried and tried and tried to get me to extend my warranty. Everyone else had left. So what? the "manager" couldn't stay to say thanks? All in all, this is a terrible place to do business with. I have been in customer service industry for over 10 years. These people need some training, a completely new staff and a different view on the business they are practicing. The lack of leadership is so poor and weak, it is mind blowing! I can definitely say I will NEVER be back to this place, and will make sure that anyone I know never goes through the hassle of purchasing a car here. I have bought several cars in my lifetime, so far, and I have NEVER had such a horrible and unprofessional experience. Nothing about this place is pleasant. The next day the car smelled like garbage inside. Took it back and they did perform the service. Sends it to detailing and they bring it out and never even wiped the inside of the windows down. After filling out the paperwork and supplying financial info, I was told that I was approved by the bank for the 2014 outlander sport. They ran my credit cards and told me to go home and get my tag off my other car to transfer it. When I returned, they informed my that I was denied and they return my money the following day. This is the worst dealership in the world. They are extremely pushy to make a sale and immediately want to run credit. Any intelligent person will get treated terrible for pushing back and showing knowledge. We bought a brand new suv after going back and forth for weeks. As soon as we bought it, the hell began. We asked for the second key and apparently it was locked up in the service department. The detailers washed the car THREE times and it came back scratched, water marks, and smeared windows. Apparently the main detail guy was not in. The salesman took the suv down to fill it up and it came back HALF full. So after expressing our frustration the manager came to us, and told us to come back next week and they would buff out our brand new vehicle they scratched as well as fill it up, and we would get our second key. We came back during the week after letting them know the exact time and the detailer still was not there! The service department buffed the scratches out, they filled the suv to 3/4, did not wash the suv, and apparently the key machine was down. So once again we were told, they would order the key fed ex it to our address. After a week, I reached out and was told we had to come in to get the key programmed to the car. So we made an appointment for 10:00am today. At 10:45 the manager lady told us the key guy has not showed up for work and we would have to come back AGAIN or we can wait for him to arrive. We purchased the Outlander on January 25th and have yet to get its initial cleaning, first fill up, and it's second key. ALL of which is on the paperwork from Mitsubishi. I can not express enough for anyone looking for a vehicle to STAY AWAY! We will not return back other then to HOPEFULLY receive our key. read more

This dealership was the worst dealership I have ever experienced doing business with. They tried to sell me a car with a broken side mirror, mind you, this vehicle was advertised online and that damage was not documented. I went to the dealership and test drove the vehicle and told the sales person (that was in the vehicle with me as I test drove) that the vehicle shakes when It accelerates and when I break. I was told that the dealership would fix all issues before they delivered the vehicle to me in Savannah, GA. I wasn't desperate for a vehicle because I already had a brand new car, I wanted to do a trade simply because I wanted a different vehicle. They attempted to up-sale me on a Maintenance plan that I did not ask for and GAP insurance. They gave the impression that these were mandatory but didn't tell me they were optional. I knew better but went ahead and got these extra things because I wanted them anyway but I think that was unethical on their end. I truly gave them the benefit of the doubt on that. I attempted to do a transfer tag with this dealership after my purchase because I am a resident of Georgia. After the sales person delivered my vehicle they took the temporary tag that was supposed to be provided with me back to Florida so I was unable to drive legally until the tag clerk sent an overnight package with a new temporary tag. After 30+ days, I still didn't receive a hard plate I had to get a new temp tag sent overnight. Today is July 11th, I still don't have a hard tag. These people are hard to get in contact with via telephone, they do not respond to voicemails, and overall unprofessional. I tried to be patient but I recommend if you're in the market for a vehicle, do not come here. I just went to sell the car because we needed a larger car and now all of the sudden, there is a report on CarFax for structural damage on my vehicle which was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. Our current dealership said they probably bought the car at an auction, knew their was damage to it, but sold it within 2 weeks so the info wouldn't have populated on CarFax just yet.So, the car that I should have at least gotten $18,000 for is now garbage and I can't even get $10,000 for it. Bought a new (to me) car and they had stickers on the inside of the window and on the windshield and when they peeled it off, it took off chunks of the tint along with it and I was told they couldn't do anything about that. This is when I had taken the car back to them the day after I purchased it for them to "detail" the car but they took over an hour to not even thoroughly vacuum the car or wash it. I could've done better at home. Called multiple times to get in reach with the manager Ray or my car salesman and they all kept telling me I'd be called back but not once was I called back. OMG!! This was the BEST experience in my life. The people who work here are the friendliest and helpful I have ever met. I viewed dealerships with a great deal of anxiety and pessimism but after speaking with Kiara, the internet sales manager, her understanding and calm voice convinced me to come in to view and test drive the car. When I got there I received a warm welcome with the biggest, friendliest smile I have ever seen. He was my guardian angel, Big Al. He guided me, and encouraged me through the whole process. What a positive person. Everyone from the dealership manager, general manager and finance director where positive, encouraging and did everything within their power to get me into the car of my dreams. I am only giving 1 star because that is the lowest rating allowed. I advise anyone thinking of doing business with this dealership to run in the opposite direction. This is the most unprofessional, poorly run dealership I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I purchased a used Audi Q5 from them about a month ago. We saw it on their site. We go to the dealership its not there, sales people don't know anything about it. A phone call says they do have the car, so we come back about 3 days later, test drive and talk price. We came back 2 days later and purchased. They keep the car on date of purchase to detail it (claimed they were backed up) I agreed to pickup later that evening. Car was in fact not detailed. That was small, compared to realizing my GPS does not work. Took the car back they gave us a We Owe on fixing the missing 'shark fin' which they said would take care of issues with the GPS. Also, they shoved the wrong trunk tray into my car, they said they would order the correct part. To date (a month later) we still have not received the trunk tray. They did receive the shark fin. They installed and did not paint so called me to pick up an Audi Q5 with a primer gray shark fin that did not match the car color. They agreed to paint and reinstall. Realized while they were installing the first time they broke the part. So now we are waiting on them to order the same part again. In all this time we have been given 3 loaner cars, one of which was not comparable to the car I purchased. We cannot get a straight, definitive answer from anyone. Right now I am in a 4th loaner (they took the other one back from us probably to sell, gave us something not of the same caliber). They still have my car with no answer on when the reordered part will be here and never heard a word on the trunk tray. They are rude, poor customer service. Just being there felt like a hostile environment. I ignored a red flag when I was there to purchase my car; I watched a salesman try to sell the floor mats out of an already sold vehicle right from under the other salesman nose. This is why I am in such desperate need to get my car back. We have requested that they send my car to the Audi dealership for service once the part arrives for fear that City Mitsubishi will only break the part again. I've been shopping for a Cadillac XLR for about two years because I want to upgrade my Wife's convertible. These are no longer built but can be found if you look for them. I saw an 05' listed on Facebook Marketplace for $17410.00 at City Mitsubishi here in Jacksonville. I then went to the dealership web site and found it there but listed for $18499.00? I checked Kelly Blue Book nd found that the vehicle in "good" condition ranges from $13500.-$14500.00; but the pictures looked good and I went there to see the vehicle. They brought it around and I saw it had led a very rough life. Hood had been body worked, tail lamps had severe UV damage, cracked and likely leaked. Rear deck had severe acid rain damage, chrome wheels were flaked. Interior was completely worn out; seat were heavily worn and stained. Steering wheel leather, center console and shifter leather clearly needed replacing. This car was in poor condition and priced above what the same vehicle in "excellent" condition would be. "If" I bought it all of these items would have to be addressed before putting my Wife into it. I sat down and told the sales person before we even started to talk, the price is excessive and not compatible with the condition of the car. Told him, "you need to come down now before going further." Before he left to get a manager I asked; "was this a trade in or auction car?" He said, "we took it in trade for a Maserati." Well that cleared up why it was so over priced. They put a lot into the front end of the deal and were making up for it now. After waiting a few more minutes one of the managers approached stating they'd sell the car for the original $17410.00 that was listed. TRANSLATION: $18499.00 was posted with a true target price of $17410.00; I wasn't rude but I pointed out the price was laughable considering the condition of the car. He then tried to justify it as a "unique and desirable, hard to find vehicle." Then he continued that "this" vehicle doesn't go by what Kelly Blue Book has it listed for in it's current condition. Rather, the price is dictated by sales history for the Jacksonville area. I've looked at many of these cars here in town and this was the worst example I've seen thus far. This car cannot be compared to far better maintained like vehicles. SUMMARY: He expected me, (or any potential customer,) to pay over and above the recommended price for a vehicle that was clearly in "poor" condition. I thanked him and I left. Based upon this experience, I must say; "BUYER BEWARE!" I was lucky because I went there as a fully informed customer. Should an uninformed customer walk onto this establishment; EXPECT to be GOUGED.
