Regular hamburger slice. I liked that the hamburger tasted fresh and not like those frozen balls some places use.

Customer service was so friendly. Pizza was amazing! Hot, cooked perfectly. I just discovered it! I'll be back. Very reasonable prices. Was not super easy to find or park, but I made it.

The wings here are soooo good! Also, the restaurant week menu was awesome considering it's all for $20. The service was nice, the ambiance is very laid back and does give LSU vibes. The bread of the pizza is so fresh and delicious tasting, it tasted it's fresh made.

My brother and I stopped by City Slice for a quick snack after our busy day. We saw that city slice seemed to be pretty quiet as there weren't many people eating at the time we went. Upon sitting down, it took a while for a server to come by us. Which, would be understandable if there were a ton of people in the restaurant, but it wasn't busy. Once a server came, we ordered sodas and a pizza. It took literally 10 minutes to get our drinks... The servers never really checked on us. We also never received plates. Once our pizza came out, the server just walked away before we could even ask for plates. We tried to get her attention, but alas. We ate off of napkins. The pizza was pretty good. We did a "Build-your-own" and the order was correct. I'm appalled at the lack of attentiveness in the service. We felt like such an after thought to our server. Which is unfortunate. After seeing the other reviews, I really hope they can tighten up on service. It wasn't busy, so it made it even more bothersome. Also- there were so many tables that were never cleaned. It was a weird, gross vibe in there.

Hell no! Do not go! To start off all of the tables were very wobbly and not stable. There weren't many people in there and our pizza took 30 minutes to come out. When that pie finally did come out, it was drenched in grease. No crunch to the bite, just soggy wet bread. Very very disappointing. I would compare the pizza to a Chuck E. Cheese pizza. 2/10 pie. Brought the leftovers home to give to my dog, even he turned his nose up at it. Don't bother coming here, grab a slice at the gas station instead. They also do not have cheescake so don't expect that. Place is headed downhill quickly.

A few weeks ago I went back to City Slice for the first time in forever and it was better than I remember it! I was with 3 other people so we decided to split the 24 inch pizza which was massive. It took up the whole table but it was just such a good deal to split amongst us. The fighting tiger pizza was delicious as were the garlic knots we ordered (not pictured). That was my first time ordering the garlic knots but they were so worth and are a must try! Their ranch was pretty good too. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars was the service. The restaurant wasn't very packed when we went, but it still took about 20+ minutes to get someone to even ask what we wanted to drink and then even when we would ask for something it still took so long for us to get it. The service that day wasn't great but that won't deter me from going back because their pizza and apps are just too good!

I've been here a few times for lunch and got the lunch special. A slice, salad and drink. Each time I was satisfied. I became adventurous once and ordered lemon pepper wings. I didn't care to much for the wings so I figured I would stick to what I know. My daughter requested pizza for dinner and we were close. Imagine my surprise when I opened my large pizza l. It looks like they took slices and made a large. This definitely wasn't what I expected. While I do enjoy their pizza I don't know if I'll be visiting again for takeout. This is awful.

City Slice has some good ass pizza! If you want the Louisiana meat sweats, eat at City Slice. Boudin? Andouille? Alligator sausage? Throw it all on a pizza if you want to. I haven't eaten at every pizza establishment in Baton Rouge, but City Slice has to be top 5. You're going to go to LSU for something, so if you want pizza, it's right there. Enjoy!

On our mini BR trip my friend and I were searching for a place to eat and Valley Wings was a place…read moreclose by that popped up on Yelp. They did not disappoint at all. The service was great (S/o to Macy and the man at the front counter who I'm assuming is the owner). When I asked for more information on certain flavors and how good they were, the server was extremely honest especially when it came to the valley bread. The owner also gave us free samples of the valley bread (first picture below) which is a fresh garlic and Parmesan bread. The vibes were definitely there. Back to the Future and Jurassic Park were playing on the tv, and the writing on the walls gave a unique touch. It kept us entertained by reading different names and sayings. NOW TO THE FOOD!! The pink lemonade was good. It wasn't overly sweet which I love. The kool-aid (not pictured),on the other hand, could have used more sugar personally. There was also blue raspberry lemonade which we didn't try. I appreciated that these drinks were additional options besides the traditional coke products that they do have. The death valley meal was a 12 wing combo w/ fries and a drink. My friend decided on garlic parmesan and the valley sauce as her two flavors. The valley sauce was a light, sticky bbq sauce. It was amazing compared to traditional bbq sauced wings. The sauce wasn't over powering like traditional bbq sauce making the eating experience way better. Now that garlic parmesan?!!! Nothing like wingstop for sure. It's hard to explain but it taste exactly like garlic and parmesan. It doesn't taste fake like other garlic parmesan flavors. One thing I really appreciate about this business is their use of fresh garlic because it's not hard to miss. It adds an extra spark to their dishes. My 10 piece combo with half lemon pepper and honey hot was equally amazing. That flavor was unexplainable!! Usually when I get honey hot (or hot honey) it's always too sweet with no kick. Valley Wings honey hot was a perfect mix of both. The "kick" really got my friend, but for a regular spice consumer this would be great for you. The lemon pepper in my option lacked. I don't know if they didn't put enough season on it or my taste buds were off from the other previous flavors, but I barely tasted any lemon pepper. It was still good chicken but the flavor wasn't present. The regular and Cajun fries had a nice crunch to them but nothing special. They do offer a lot of loaded fry options that looked and sound amazing like chicken Alfredo, Cajun shrimp Alfredo, etc. Definitely another BR go-to restaurants on my list. Pink lemonade: 8/10 Garlic Parmesan: 9.5/10 Valley sauce: 8.5/10 Lemon pepper: 5/10 Honey hot: 9/10 Cajun fries: 5/10

Fries were salted with some Cajun spice mix. They could have gone lighter but the fries weren't greasy so no points off from me. The wings were good. Just the right size so you don't have to worry how pumped up on steroids the chickens were before they gave their life for our consumption. Skin was crispy. The spices/sauces were delicious especially the sweet heat, such a nice sneaky little heat. So back to my initial thought it did take some time for the food to come although there were on three other tables. Not a full down of the game but some time. Also they could have been slammed with mobile orders. Who knows? Food was fresh and hot so I am willing to go again but I feel like if I walked in and it was busy and I was hungry I would walk out.

Food. I knew the moment I walked in that it was going to be good. It was a no non-sense, simple setup with a cashier, an extensive menu on the wall (very good prices by the way), and a heated bar setup that drew my attention immediately. Nothing more, nothing less. In today's world where for many new establishments, it feels like all the budget goes to marketing with paid influencers on socials to draw in customers, most times I feel the food falls short and underwhelming. I can taste the effort put into the food here at Lee's. The hot bar had all of your classic staples, freshly fried. As I walked in, they replenished the trays more as they were running low from the customers in front of me. I could hear the fryers hard at work the entire time I was there. I found out that some things are also actually cooked to order. The staff were very friendly. I made sure to try a bit of everything I've been craving since I moved away - Fried chicken, pork cracklings, chicken cracklings, and even the egg roll since it had just came right out from the kitchen fresh and I had to get some. Everything was seasoned well and had that crunchy, crispy bite I was looking for. My cracklin crave was satisfied. Definitely going to make sure I stop by anytime I'm in town. I'm so glad the area has been seeing a lot of development with lots of new food options and I hope it continues. There's no space for all that. Step up to the counter. Ogle the delicious chicken posing in the window of the heat tray, tell the cashier how many wings or "other parts" you want, add some sides if you need some filler and then wait a very short minute while they hand your order to you, tantalizingly hot and tasty.
