We had an Amazing experience today at City world Ford. Me and my husband came from NJ to buy a car, everyone in the dealership were very helpful. Aaron helped us to pick up a car and test drive. Manager was excellent Gave us great deal. and James took care of financial part, explained us all the coverages, also we had an issue with our insurance, James was very patient and was able to resolve the issue. Excellent team work.

This is the rear gate of Ford Ecosport brand new from this dealer.

Sadly one of the worse "new car delivery processes in the city. I went in to pick up a new car, color was set, price was set, we are good to go. I am a very busy person so two days prior, I text the sales associate to let her know that I have decided to do business with her. When I arrive at the dealership the car is still in the showroom, pretty dirty from people getting in and out doing whatever they do. I was told this "this is the car" I wanted a silver Ford, so the sales associate dictates to me that this is the car they are selling me. I agreed because I liked the color. Unbeknownst to me at the time, this car came from another dealership and was probably a cancellation from another intelligent customer that was not going to put up with their games. They wait for me to arrive to start prepping the car. Everything is an excuse, "we are getting the car inspected" thank you for your patience", etc. Two hours later I see the car parked by a guy carrying an open drink. I inspect the car and it was filthy, glue on the body of the car and the driver side mats filthy. I brought this to the attention of the sales associate and one of the sales managers chimed in claiming that the mats are dirty from people getting in and out. I know this and there are no floor protectors to keep those mats clean for the customer. I was so annoyed and tired of this process that I acquiesced and took the damn thing. The experience was just bad. It started alright but ended with a horrible taste in my mouth about the process and dealers' attitude. I get that salespeople in this business are at the bottom of the food chain when it comes to professionalism, honesty, and class, but as a Hispanic businessman, I find it offensive that their main clientele seems to be of the Latino community and the attitude is that because of that, they are considered second class citizens, BY THEIR OWN KIND mind you. So forgive me if I am a little bit sensitive when I see my own people treating my people like they are stupid, uneducated and disrespected. So I got the car, (only because I was tired of the crap) but sadly these so-called "sales associates" will continue to exist. They will never be anything more and a transactional salesperson, they rarely get repeat business and referrals. I do not recommend these guys at all, but they are all over at every dealer. I have leased 7 new cars in my life this one is by far the worse. Especially when it comes to the all importnant process of delvering the car Enter this place at your own risk.

(Not sure if that's standard or not, but that's the reason I knocked my rating down a star because by the end I was pretty antsy to leave.) But overall, the employees were all very friendly and Adonis was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions (we had a lot). He definitely helped us find the best option for our situation. It seems the new management has done this place well because we definitely did not have a bad experience. We felt very taken care of after a really bad experience with our first car elsewhere.

Bronx Honda vs Honda of the Bronx Wtf does that mean or…read moreshould it mean to the people of the Bronx. I know what it means to me. Not a damn thing because it's still the Honda dealership in the Bronx. People who live in the Bronx are committed to this borough. They believe if you live in the Bronx you should buy in the Bronx. They believe that people should earn a livelihood in the Bronx so they support businesses by spending their hard earned money in stores in the Bronx. They want a prosperous community. Which helps to explain why I bought a car in the Bronx. I bought a Honda one year ago and everything went smoothly. The salesman was cool. He wasn't that stereotypical used car salesman so me and my baby daddy left the dealership feeling good. We felt good because we contributed to the economy of the Bronx and we felt that way until recently. My son's father went to Honda to set up a time to get the second oil change promised when we purchased our car. Two oil changes guaranteed in a sign agreement with Bronx Honda when the car was purchased. Well when my children's father went for the second oil change "Honda of the Bronx" tried to renege on the agreement because Bronx Honda doesn't exist anymore. We bought the car when it was Bronx Honda. The Honda dealership in the Bronx is at the same location E. Tremont Avenue is now Honda of the Bronx. As a Harlemite but with roots in the Bronx I'm like really? I'm looking at the manager and I'm wondering if he thinks I'm a fool and that I will accept the change of name of the Honda dealership in the Bronx as a reason to not honor the contract made in good faith. The oil change is not the only contract they tried to renege on. We bought a service contract for $2500 and the manager said no to that too. A lot could be said about this less than savory experience we had but I'll say this we got the oil change but the service contract I'm waiting to speak to a representative at Honda headquarters. In summary I will not buy another car from Honda and as far as the name change: Bronx Honda vs Honda in the Bronx, means panties changed but the pussy still stinks.

Having not been in the market for a car for over 15 years, I was overwhelmed with the prospect! Needless to say, from Osei in sales to Mike in finance and the AMAZING Service Crew, Anthony and Emily--to name a few--this dealership made having to purchase a vehicle PAINLESS!! More recently, they were able to help (in yet another desperate situation) get my 'first time buyer' son into an affordable and reliable Honda!! I cannot thank Osei, Mike, Hayden and all the others enough for their expeditious and accommodating service!! Even still, when I go in for scheduled maintenance, Anthony, Emily and the whole crew get me in and out quickly and always try to find any discounts that apply to my service. I have two more sons coming up the ranks, they already KNOW where they intend on making their milestone purchase--and I couldn't be happier!! Thank You Middletown Honda, for making me believe that Customer Service is NOT dead!! THANK YOU!!! (Cookies are on the way;) Respectfully, D. Maldonado and family

I've never experienced a business try to make me out to be a fool so much in my life. This Honda…read moredealership I'm sure is trying to run a scam on folks who may not be as aware of vehicular matters as others. I brought my 2018 Honda CR-V to them in February for a recall involving the fuel pump and seat belt latches, but they didn't have the seat belt latches at the time. While it was there, they called to tell me there was also a warranty on the AC compressor shaft seal. Fine, they took care of that as well. When I went to pick up my car the next day, all was fine until I looked at the breakdown of what needs to be replaced according to the dealership. They said my tires tread were under 3/32nds of an inch, and needed to be replaced. I had just replaced the tires in January, and I told them this. Not much of a response from them about that. The breakdown also said I needed almost all of my oils changed (trans, rear diff, etc) of course at quite the premium. Jump to April, they call to tell me they have the seat belt latches, so I brought my car in for that. This is when it goes downhill. I told them my AC wasn't working, and it was working before I had the car in their shop in February. Turns out there was a wire broken on the pressure switch sensor. I asked them to send a picture. When they did, it looked in the picture like the wire had been cut, not "broken". They told me they would'nt need any parts to fix it, but it was going to cost about $580 to fix it. I fixed it myself in about 15 mins at home, after waiting for the new pressure switch connector in the mail. Costed me $15 and 15 mins of work. I don't understand how 15 mins of work amounts to $580. I also found a bracket that connects the AC Compressor to the engine missing the single bolt to the engine. When they gave me the breakdown of what my car needed this time, a lot of things they said I needed in February were not needed this time in April, despite not having been done. They also said my tires tread were all at 7/32nds of an inch. I've never heard of rubber "growing" back. They did replace the seatbelt latches, but when I got in my car I found that the plastic pieces that cover the mounting hardware for the latches were on the floor at my feet. This isn't the biggest deal, but very unprofessional, as is the bracket bolt missing. Overall, I figure they could try to pull a fast one on me, possibly cutting my wire for an expensive quick fix, as well as the tires that were brand new. A job that would've been in the range of 1500 for maybe an hour of work. Sounds convenient to make a fast buck for a little work. I wouldn't recommend this Honda dealership to my enemy. If I could give it zero stars I would. This may not happen to everyone, but I'm sure it's not just me they tried to scam.
