We've purchased two garage doors with Cityscape and love them!! They have great selection and fair prices! Chip helped us with the quote and scheduling and had great communication. Our garages were able to be installed so quickly! Would highly recommend!! Brings such curb appeal to the property.

Overall a pretty good experience. Sales experience was great. I got all the information I needed to make an informed decision quickly vs other garage door companies I asked for quotes on. Chip with Cityscape came prepared to show me a variety of options and after speaking about what I thought I wanted immediately opened up to a C.H.I. Door. It was exactly what we were looking for. Price was great as well C.H.I. Had some manufacturing mishaps and here is where I dropped a star. Cityscape didn't contact me, I had to contact them to find out about delays. They also seemed a bit annoyed that I was frustrated my door was delayed twice. It's not like was belligerent, just asked politely about my door. Again at the end of installation I got a call about billing but no one ever asked if I was happy with the product or the install and just seemed to want to charge me and move on. Person calling was the same as the one I was emailing with about delays. The installation was pretty quick. The guys doing it were nice, they kept things clean and the door looks amazing installed. I would work Cityscape again despite the in between and ending customer service being a bit flat.

New garage door installation with custom frosted windows and paint

I had a tired old wood garage door on my beach house that finally gave out. After calling a few companies I spoke to CityScape. Their sales guy Chip was super pleasant and easy going and answered all my questions and provided me with online web pages to look at for design options. We decided to meet up on site and settled on the best door style and window options for my budget. We also chose a new door opener. The installation was about 5 weeks later and was expertly done - all new hardware, built super strong and performs quietly. They even painted the door for me to match my home color scheme. Top notch job - it looks amazing. Very pleased.

    Garage door dent

This review is for services received a few years back. Every time I look at my garage door I'm reminded of everything that went wrong. I'm sure this is a one-off, but just want to put my experience out there in case you are trying to choose between 2 companies. Two things led to the dissatisfaction with this company. Firstly, the garage ordered was not the one I received. I ordered a flat panel with 8 windows, 4 on the right and 4 on the left. The garage received just had windows on the left. When I pointed this out to the sales person on the installation date, he retreated to his car and it took about 30 minutes for him to admit that the door was incorrectly ordered. I was presented with 3 options, the first which I was pleaded against was to reorder and have the company eat the cost of the door (about 5-6K) that was delivered, second was to have them cut the windows in the existing door, um no I don't think so,authorizing that sounded like a terrible idea, and third to keep the door and get some $ back to make up for not getting what I wanted. I went with option 3 but in retrospect I'm not convinced the $ I received included anything additional other than the difference between purchasing a door with windows 8 versus 4 as they were different prices. Second issue was with the installation. The spacing was incorrect on the housing for the coiled wire and it was supposedly upside down, we had an electric outage during the summer so the garage was released manually to open it, problem was I didn't notice that the garage wire was not coiled properly, the garage door came down at a fast rate, luckily missing me but getting out of the way fast hurt my neck a little later, it came down crooked on one side which put pressure on the window corners and the flat surface creased, which is the eyesore I live with today. Reason I know about the spacing/upside down issue was because I was listening to the repair guy talking to someone on the phone about it. Initially Cityscape agreed to repair the creased panels, they reordered one. When received the trim around the window was glossy plastic instead of matte, so it went back, the workers weren't happy and threw the panel back on their truck uncovered and in a rough manner, I'm guessing to make me feel bad but I think it scratched the panel which could have been reused. In the meantime, Martin garage doors stopped producing the smooth panel garage door. The owner of Cityscape Joe was communicative at first indicating that Martin planned on producing again and that when they did he would help fix the door. Communications went on for over a year, hence why this review is so long after the services were received. Anyway, eventually Joe stopped responding, so I'm left with a door I didn't really want, advice to others is don't settle and don't have a bleeding heart, and I'm left with a door with dents. Total cost for the door and services was over $6k which is why it bothers me. Hope this review helps, if nothing else at least I got to vent.

Cityscape started as a fantastic experience. They were polite and very welcoming to new business. The initial sales guy was on time and extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and was easily able to answer all of my first time buyer questions. My garage door was completely broken and unable to open, so believe me I had a lot of questions! Right before ordering the door I was told that because of Covid there would be a 12 week lead time. Fine. Totally get it. You can only install doors as fast as you can get them. He even called CHI (door manufacture) and confirmed a 12 week lead time for a new door. After I placed the order for a new garage door however, it all changed. The 12 weeks go by, and no contact from Cityscapes whatsoever. I called and spoke with Dean, an operations employee who I was told knows about all the door coming in. I asked what the ETA was looking like, and he apologized and couldn't really tell me, since everything so far is just basically up to how fast the manufacturer could make it. I told them that's fine we'll wait another week just to see how it goes. 2 weeks go by. Still no contact. I call again. Still no door. Still no ETA. 2 more weeks go by. Still no contact. I call again. Still no ETA. I'm told that the 12 week ETA originally given to me is basically meaningless. 2 MORE weeks go by. Still no contact. I call again. STILL no ETA. Dean tells me hopefully it would be in soon, and that (this was his favorite line) some people have to wait MONTHS to get a door and that mine is coming in quicker than most. It had already been 4 months since I ordered the door. I told him that "I am "some people"." He had a good laugh about it. I wasn't laughing. Finally I get my first contact from them since I ordered the door! on March 16th I get an email that say's the new delivery dates would me 3-30. Nice, a new ETA! At least that's something I can look forward to. The doors only get delivered from the manufacture to CityScapes once a week on Tuesdays. I found that out pretty quick after all the conversations I had waiting on this door. Dean is also only in the office for 3.5 hours every weekday. So if you don't normally wake up before 11am, you better set your alarm to give this guy a call because no one else is able to look up information on your door order other than him. I call Dean up on the 29th (Monday) because I was going on vacation and needed to have the door put in before Thursday afternoon. Remember, the doors get delivered on Tuesdays. He tells me unfortunately my door wasn't going to make it on the truck tomorrow because it wasn't finished being made. I LOST IT. I told him I need the phone number for the manufacture, the manufactures order number for my door, I need everything. He said he could give me all that information in an email in 5 minutes. Great, I'll be waiting. No email comes in, but he calls me back. It seems the manufacture DID complete my door and it WILL be on the truck tomorrow. We even setup an install time for the 30th. The installers came in, and I asked them if they could mount the track to the wood underneath some drywall I was planning on taking out. I told them I'd be more than happy to cut out the 12 x 6 inch rectangle myself since it's not their job to do that kind of stuff. I even started to cut out the portion I wanted outThey said nahhhh we can do it no big deal. Easy Peasy... Surprise! They didn't do it. Wasn't a huge deal, still a bummer, but I was just happy to FINALLY have a working garage door again. I ordered the door on November 11th, and didn't get the new one installed till March 30th. 1 day shy of 20 weeks. Almost double the original ETA. No percentage off the original price, no "on us" products added, not even an apology for the HUGE delay on getting my product delivered and installed. Hopefully I never have to get a new garage door and if I do I doubt HIGHLY it will be through CityScapes. 2 stars for the quick install that wasn't quite done right.

On top of that, my garage door opener was from 2007, so it was definitely time for an upgrade. I submitted a Yelp project and received several quotes, but none compared to the experience I had with Yuval. He quickly identified the issue, explained everything clearly, and gave me several replacement options without any pressure. After discussing the pros and cons, I decided on the LiftMaster 6690LM, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. He scheduled the installation just a few days later, arrived right on time, and was ready to get to work. Yuval treated my garage and home as if they were his own. He was professional, meticulous, and made sure everything was installed perfectly. His pricing was also the best value I found, especially considering the quality of the parts, labor, and workmanship. I would hands down recommend Yuval to anyone needing garage door service, and I'll be telling all my friends, family, and neighbors about him. It's rare to find someone this honest, knowledgeable, and dedicated to doing quality work.

Our garage door was broken so we called them out. We told them we could only be home until 4pm and they gave us the window of 2-4pm. We made sure we were home during that time. Unfortunately, it was for no reason because nobody showed up or called. We called them and they said they would come tight then and only take a minute to give an estimate for the work. Well no estimate was provided and they just started the work without any communication. When I heard drilling I asked if they were going to provide an estimate or what? And the workers said, ya, it's almost done, it's $450. No approval, no paperwork, nothing. I was late to my appointment and they said we could leave them locked in the garage, but as we were going to leave they kept having to go through the house to get things from their truck. I didn't want to leave them locked in the hot garage but we really had to leave. The whole situation was so incredibly frustrating. Then the office girl called me to collect payment and made it 100 times worse. I was trying to explain to her that the process was really stressful and she said, "ok so then I'll just have them go back and undo everything they did" .... Are you serious? What kind of customer service is that? What a terrible representation for their business. Had she said, "I understand how that was frustrating. We should have come when we said we were/communicated/provided an estimate/explained what we were even doing/honestly anything? It would have been different. Things happen, I get that, but have accountability and communication. It's very very basic customer service. We paid, we're done with them, but we will never use this company again.
