I went to Cityscape with my beloved recently. This is the tallest bar in San Francisco. Cityscape is on the 46th floors with amazing views. It feels like you are in an airplane. My beloved ordered an Old Fashioned. She thought the drink was great and very well done. There are three simple vegan options on the menu including edamame, chips, and mixed nuts. We went with the edamame. They were quite alright. Cityscape is a perfect spot for amazing views of San Francisco. It is a nice spot for a light bite before getting dinner elsewhere afterwards. Tower 1, 46th floor. I had no idea this place existed until I stayed at this Hilton location. You truly get 360 degree views of the city. Come just before the sunset with your sunglasses and enjoy the view. I came both nights during my two night stay and I enjoyed it very much. The staff was great the drinks were really tasty. I got Millennial Pink both nights as it fits my taste just perfectly. They do serve food here as well, but I didn't have any of it during my visits. I love the multi-levels of the venue as well. Since there are different towers to this property and if you're visiting it is best to go to Tower 1 and look at the floor for which elevators take you to Cityscape. read more

Wonderful place to go at the end of an evening with friends, a loved one, or family. Looking at the sites outside the windows was beautiful. We had about 20 of us go up together we each had individual checks and paid for our own food but the waiter insisted upon his putting an 18% tip on everythingbecause he felt he could do that. I thought that was rather cheap of him we would've given him probably a 20% tip but this way that's what he got. Cityscape is the tallest skybar in the city. Located on the 46th floor,this place offers one of the best views of the city. I'm picky with my espresso martinis and I can gladly say they make it very well here! Drinks are pricey though but what do you expect? You're paying for the view. The inside of the skybar is nice and cozy. Wasn't super busy when I visited but service was a bit on the slower side. The location, the view, the service, the ambiance oozed classy and romance but I came here recently and there were a bunch of young adults. Super rooftop bar that many have never heard of! Until 9 pm on weekends, it's much like The View in the Marriott except not as dingy. Quiet jazz, expensive cocktails and an amazing view all around. After 9 pm on weekends, when the DJ comes on, this place gets turnt - Its like a club and a lounge had a baby. Great views, pricey drinks, but service is a bit slow! Reservations aren't required here. Myself and two friends just walked up to the rooftop and were able to seat ourselves. It was a bit crowded, but after a few minutes we found a lounge to ourselves. Service was a bit slow. We waited ~15 minutes just to place our orders, another 15 to get our drinks, and when we wanted to place a second order, it took a while before our waiter showed up. I didn't mind it, but it's noticeable. The buzz sparkle pop in citrus berry was light and refreshing! There's a popsicle inside your drink that melts as you drink, which was a fun addition. The bubbles aren't strong, just light enough to pop on your tongue. The Pacific Heights was quite strong, but not overwhelmingly so. The taste of gin is present, but with the hint of lemon, not unwelcome. With the lemon and simple syrup, it was quite sweet. My Marina Daiquiri was also quite strong! The pineapple rum has both fruity-sweet notes and also a hint of sourness from the lime juice. The taste of alcohol wasn't present until you reached the end of the drink. Otherwise, it was quite yummy and easy to drink. For the table, we ordered truffle crisps and the artisan cheese board. Both were delicious! The truffle crisps had a nice chew and crisp to each bite; combined with the truffle parmesan aioli, it was a fragrant and savory bite. The artisan cheeseboard was a bit small, but interesting in compilation; the sweet jam was a highlight, the bread was toasted well (but almost tasted a bit old, like it was sitting out after being toasted for a while?), the cheeses were interesting (particularly the cheddar and brie), and the almonds had a nice crunch and salty flavor. There are 360 degree views of the city, and the best part is that there are floor to ceiling glass windows that allow you to easily see the views without getting hit by the cold winds! This is a must come if you're visiting SF. Absolutely insane views. Probably the best views in the whole city, aside from office/commercial towers. The is basically an observatory tower with 360 views. The vibes are immaculate. The pours are heavy and so is the music. It feels like a rave in there with the hardstyle they play. This is a place you come to if you want something different than any other bar in the city. Our service was inconsistent. When we came in the day our service was great and our waiter was attentive. Although at night we had to fend for ourselves and wait 15/20 minutes for each shot we ordered. I think it may be because they are were busy and probably understaffed but they leave you sitting for quite a while. Maybe it's because I'm young and they would rather focus on the older more wealthy patrons but who knows. This is my only problem with this place otherwise they would get a 5 star review. It's bittersweet because I really enjoy the view. The prices for drinks and food will break your piggy bank but the view makes up for it 100x over. It really depends on what day you come because it could be foggy with 0 visibility or you can get clear skies and have an epic view of the bay. Not sure if you need to stay at the hotel to visit but if you don't, you should definitely come here if you are able to. Cityscape Lounge is a bar inside the Hilton Hotel that I have been to a couple times, and it definitely lives up to its name! Finding it in the hotel isn't the easiest, so make sure to follow the signs and go up the correct elevator since a lot of the other elevators won't go to the floor with the lounge. The inside is very stylish and modern, with a great view of the city that you can see through really large windows. Here you typically have to find seating yourself, although it wasn't too difficult for us to find it when we came here. The drinks here are definitely on the pricier side, so be prepared to spent more for the view that you get along with it. Some of the drinks we've gotten were the Long Island Iced Tea and the Buzz Sparkle Pop. The portion sizes of the drinks aren't that much for what you pay for, but they were still pretty solid nevertheless. They also have food here if you want something to eat while you're drinking. Overall, people mainly come to this lounge since the view of the city is nice (or they might be living in the hotel. While the drinks are fine, it is on the pricier side so there are better places for more affordable cocktails. read more

I came here on a Friday night and didn't even have trouble finding couch space for me and 2 friends. The drinks are on the higher end - cocktails cost anywhere from $20-25/drink and beers cost $8-10. My boyfriend and his friend just ended up getting beers so that we could enjoy the view. The bar itself does look a little on the older end - but that is because the bar has been around for decades and I just never knew. The 360 degree views of San Francisco make up for it though. Beautiful views! I came here for drinks a few weekends ago and overall thought it was worth a visit. Drinks were good and strong, albeit overpriced (but it's a nice lounge in San Francisco, so what do you expect). We ended up parking in the hotel's garage which is quite expensive, and not sure if Cityscape validates (we forgot to ask). From the garage, you walk over to a specific set of elevators (Tower 1) and go up to the 46th floor. Once we arrived, we were free to sit where we pleased. Service was friendly and efficient. The Mrs. and I had drinks on Saturday night at the Cityscape Lounge which is located at the top of the Hilton Union Square. We were staying at Parc 55 so it was just a short walk across the street. Finding the right elevator to get to Cityscape can be like playing Three Card Monte. Three or four of the elevators say Cityscape above them, but only one actually takes you there. If I recall it was elevator number three. Or door number three if you're a game show fan. Cityscape has open seating. We took a seat on the west side of the lounge. There is also a bar in the center of the room as well. The view from where we were seated was pretty good. As one would expect in San Francisco the ever present fog rolled in which constantly changed the view. The sun was present, but just couldn't poke through that San Francisco fog. The service was really good. Not what I usually expect in a hotel bar. Our server was Jose. He was very personable and shared his knowledge of the city and his early life there. We discussed the challenges facing San Francisco. Which are the same as other cities despite what the elephants in the room might say. Cityscape offers a full cocktail menu as well as a really good selection of beer and wine. There are some shareable plates available as well. read more

Me and my husband recently decided to visit cityscape for my 30th birthday & we had a deeply disappointing experience that highlighted serious issues with customer treatment & discrimination. Upon arriving, we were informed we could sit anywhere we liked so We sat down and ordered our drinks ,when we saw that there was an open space to sit where we could see the view alot better and it looked more comfortable, after confirming with our waiter if we would be able to move seatings he mentioned we could but it had to be cleaned first, after a few minutes, the space was indeed clean, we decided to move there. However, shortly after settling in, a white man who claimed to be the "host" approached us in a confrontational manner. Without warning, he grabbed our drinks and forced us to return to our original seats, claiming they needed to move us back because a group who was waiting needed this space, To not only me and my husband's surprise but also the group's surprise as well, he then proceeded to move individuals who had taken our original seats, creating further confusion and discomfort. It felt as though we were being singled out for no valid reason. We were so shocked and all he had to say was " well if it makes you feel better , I will pay for your drinks" money wasn't the issue here , I then told my husband, we should leave , we have never been treated this way, and As we were leaving , the larger group meet us and said they were leaving as well because they saw how we were treated , Ive never felt so humiliated ,this experience was not only embarrassing but also incredibly frustrating. I felt disrespected and unwelcome, It was my birthday , we were here to enjoy ourselves and It was clear that me and my husband ( we both are Mexican/American) were being treated differently from others in the venue . The gesture "paying for our drinks" felt inadequate, disrespectful and it did not address the core issue of how we were treated. This incident has left a lasting negative impression of this business for us, It's crucial for businesses now days with inflation, to ensure that all customer feel respected and valued, regardless of their group or background. I hope management can take steps to improve their customer service practices and create a more inclusive environment. I encourage others to share their experiences and for the venue to reflect on how they can better serve ALL customers! read more
